Why do I feel like a kid packaged my food? Is this supposed to look appetizing? Now there is peanut butter all over my hands just from holding this bag.

Not gonna lie, I love this place because it's absolutely delicious but recently the service of this establishment has been unpleasant. This is the second time its been this bad, in the past month that I've gotten bowls that are prepare sloppy, little acai, and a bunch of oats. Side note; I always tip because I understand they are young workers and they want to walk away with some cash at the end of the night but where is the good work ethic at a healthy establishment?

My wife and I went and got two smoothies. They were steeply priced at $6.99 each but I figured they were probably worth it. People always rant and rave about how good Playa Bowls is. Ordering was quick and easy. They didn’t take long to come up but once we tried them, they had absolutely no flavor. It was like drinking a cup of ground ice that a fruit truck drove past. We ended up throwing out the entire smoothie minus a few sips. Extremely disappointed and will not be going back. Don’t waste your money on this bland, flavorless place.

Very Good bowls. But some are a big Sugar bomb. Need the acid and salt to level them out. They do not tell you were the fruit is from or if it is organic. As a consumer I would like to know the origin of the fruit and how it was grown?

Grabbed a banana bowl, a pitaya bowl, a green juice, and a smoothie for $40ish (with tax and tip). Definitely felt the gluten free granola was too sweet and we asked for it in both bowls. Pitaya bowl had no acid, fat, or salt in it so it was like a sugar bomb with that granola. Juice and smoothie were perfect. Banana bowl benefited from almond butter.

Perfect for a health kick start to your day. I feel the bowls are smaller then then use to be. Grar atmosphere. Will return. Pur group was extremely happy. Service was primpt menus are anluttke misleading but that's ok...fabulous in my book

Been a loyal customer since they opened their establishment by island heights, since then they closed and we’ve been going to this location but the last few times- a let down. Not the type of person to complain being a business owner but if there was issues with my food: I’d want to know. The bowl turned to water in minutes (doesn’t have the same taste, both of our bowls were icy tasting) Thank god I ordered more nola on the side for the one bowl cause both bowls had very little. Paid for extra Nutella, didn’t receive any more or less. I wouldn’t mind spending $40 on 2 bowls, some protein bites and extras if it was like back in the 2018 days. Disappointed on how this business is turning out. I hope it gets better! I have faith in you guys.

Really yummy and cool spot to stop in. So excited I moved nearby. Been here like close to 4 times already. They have such amazing delicious bowls and shakes. Also I've been to many Playa bowls. They are by far the most friendliest ones here always serving with such a smile and cheer I'm lovin it.

Seems like I've been on a poke bowl craze lately so I've been to this location three times within the last 2 weeks. Love the food. People are usually friendly and helpful, but for some reason every single time I went there they forgot my wasabi peas in my poke bowl. Definitely going to go back again and this time I'll make sure they put them in there before I leave. Besides that, no complaints

I tried playa bowls for first time about two months ago. I visit st least once a week since. I've tried several different combo nixes of the bowls and I love them. I wish I tried them sooner. Nice healthy meal when you want something light to eat. And love the dolce drink after the gym.

Everything was great! The food was amazing! I got the poke bowl with extra protein, it was AMAZING!! They give you lots of tuna and lots of other awesome toppings. Awesome place!

The young lady was very pleasant and smiled. Which now a days you barely see in young adults. Place was very clean and service was quick, but it was between breakfast and lunch.

Friendly knowledgeable attentive staff. It was my friends first time there. They offered her taste of different items ,We both settled in the Acai bowl. It was delicious

I love this location. The workers are always so nice and I have never had a long wait or a rude worker. My bowl had always came out right even if I made changes form the original version. I get a Stupid Cupid with light Nutella, and I add banana (what is in the photo). Overall I love it here and I always feel Wellcome and the place feels bright. Also I have never heard anyone else complain about this location.

Love Playa Bowls! This location is a little hard to get to but once you know where it is you will be there all the time! The service at this location is always friendly and the new summer menu is SOO yummy! I've been stuck on the coco cold brew and my favorite smoothie (from their everyday menu) is the Dang with a little strawberry added! Ok now I'm hungry, see you soon!

Great experience! I usually go in for a treat but this morning I wanted a healthy breakfast. My friend told me bout how good the new mango base is and I had to try it. I was not disappointed! Absolutely delicious. It will be a difficult decision on my next visit between the mango and coconut bases. The atmosphere is great and makes you feel very welcome. My cashier and server Amanda greeted me with a smile and answered my questions. She made it a very pleasant experience and was just so caring. Definitely going back again and again!

The first time I tried Playa Bowls, I was sold! You can’t beat the delicious flavors, Fresh fruit, Granola, Honey, And all the amazing toppings to complement your bowl! The pitaya and açaí bowls are my favorite But I’ve only just begun. Do something good for your taste buds and body and treat yourself to something delicious at Playa Bowls!

First time ever trying Playa Bowls and they are amazing. The girls at the Toms River location were so helpful and polite.

“The WORST BOWL I have ever had” Drive to Frutta bowls it is only 5 min from here. FOOD - The bowl was horrible it had the consistency of an ICEE. It turned into water within 2 minutes. When I asked about it they said corporate changed the way they make it at this location. They put the smallest sprinkle of granola. Even some of the fruit tasted unfresh LOCATION - kind of annoying to park but big inside and cool layout.

This staff here is pretty friendly on most days. They do accommodate your dishes or drinks to your taste since everything's made fresh to order. I really love their juices. Just double check your orders when placing take outs, sometimes they don't get it right. Other than that the foods great.

Girl at the register is horribly nasty and ungrateful. I called in an order and when I got there the place was packed. She called my name for the order, I gave her a $10 bill and told her to keep the change as it was only her and one other gentlemen working, with an abundance of orders coming in. She put my drink out of reach to me on the counter, and didn’t bother to say thank you or anything for the tip? I proceed to say “you’re welcome” and left . Nasty

A little on the expensive side but the food taste great.

I've had good experiences here before, and I wanted to give a better review (we really love the acai bowls). But when I wasn't prompted to scan my rewards and then was told "you should've told me before." If you have a reward system in place, you should promote and use it. At $12 a bowl, you have time to ask me for my rewards app. Not excited that I lost points for my next purchase (which would've been free).

Got the chance to try the coffee, and it was on-point. I'm a coffee snob, and this place rocks coffee. Also, the tropical, surfing motif is very comfortable and adds greatly to the ambiance.

Overrated and overpriced. I think they need a full mena revamp for their smoothies and drinks such weird drink combinations that most taste flavorless or bitter. Could be from out of season fruit that they use but still aside from a few classic smoothies that everyone knows their own smoothie combinations need work. Not to mention the prices for just a smoothie let alone is very pricy.

The staff is great .. perfect for just picking up or to relax for lunch by the fire ... thank you for caring for your customers .....

Nice local place

I was not permitted to use the bathroom as they are allegedly closed to customers!! Last I checked nobody got COVID-19 from using a toilet. I had a mask and I was the only customer in the store. Give me a break! Last time they get my business!

Ordered the same thing I always order - Dulce 20 oz . The shake was soooooo thick with peanut butter I couldn’t drink or enjoy . I had to eat it with a straw. Very disappointing.

Always went to this place and recently they have been really short on the bases of the bowls i get. Today it was less then halfway full and stuffed with granola. Very disappointed. Will not be going back anytime soon. Not worth 11$ For the portion size.
