Ordered battered cod n chips + a grilled red emperor (and deep fried cheesecakes), and while the cod was really good, the red emperor stole the show 100% Also, ask about the chicken salt! You can definitely taste the effort put into refining it 🐔🧂

Seriously great burgers and fish & chips! The steak burger had 3 super tender pieces of steak on it, and the B.A.B burger is a proper chip shop burger with the lot, pretty sure they weighed about 1kg each! Calamari was so tender I think we got about 50% more than we ordered. Great value, a burger, chips and drink is cheaper than a Maccas meal and 50000x better. Easily the best fish & chip shop in town! And the deep fried cheesecake was as decadent as it sounds.

Bought Seaperch chips and salad meal, BEAUTIFUL , so fresh a decent size meal ,I would definitely recommend this snack bar with much more on there menu besides the fish . Service great , and polite people.

I love this place. Fresh and tasty with good size cod fish fillet in batter, yummy sea scallops. Unpretentious but delivers the goods at the right prices. Beats other more expensive and popular places hands down!

Was hungry after our day at the Lone Pine Sanctuary. Had lunch in this restaurant and i would say HANDS DOWN this is the best fish and chips i’ve ever tasted. What made the difference was the freshness of the fish and calamari. 10/10 👌 Go there with an empty stomach,leave the shop with a smile 😊

Fresh and tasty fish and chips! Fish was on the more generously sized side, both crumbed and battered were perfectly light and crispy. The shop itself is clean and tidy, and the owners are very friendly. Recommend giving this spot a go!

I tried a sea perch meal with chips, potato salad and 2 extra potato scallops...It was absolutely beautiful 🤤 The portion size was ,the food was tasty, fresh and well worth the $30.70 I paid for the whole meal (including the drink and the extra potato scallops) Keep up the good work and I'll be back 😄

The chips were soggy and disgusting. 🤢 The fish was decent but they forget my aioli and didn’t put salt😭 the potatoes scallops were good tho. I didn’t like the customer service, the Chinese lady kept trying to get me to buy more than I could eat which is rude. Her partner bought the food out to the car after 6mins of me ordering which clearly states the food wasn’t cooked fresh 🤢

Perfect little fish and chip joint in the local area. We chose Fish Food always when craving take-away sea food while at home. Fresh ingredients and fished used always, and quite often have had a little salad added as extra! Very friendly staff!
