The best Indian restaurant I have eaten at since I left Birmingham. The service was exceptional, the Wednesday deal was unbelievable value. Overall we spent £35 for two people, we each had a beer, poppadoms with a selection of chutneys, garlic naan and a curry (Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Vindaloo). This is undoubtedly going to be our new go to Indian restaurant, everything was authentic and delicious and the gentleman who served us was warm, welcoming and friendly!

Well, unfortunately we must have hit them on a bad night. The 3 curries we had tasted fab but unfortunately the sauce was thick and guppy, the rice was overcooked and mushy and the garlic nan I ordered and paid for was missing. Shame as it was our first meal from Ovilash. Maybe better when sitting in.

6 of us went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The various meals went down really well and everyone enjoyed them. The restaurant was very busy and the service was slightly slow but as we were all chatting it didn't really matter.

Lovely little gem, went in for a curry, starters absolutely amazing and mains. They’re just perfectly balanced everything, and all the dishes were fresh.

We have just finished our very first meal from this restaurant which we had delived. Very polite friendly man on the phone. Curry arrived literally exactly at the given time by a very smart polite man, the food was a 12 out of 10! Everything was so fresh tasty and beautifully cooked. My partner who is fussy and usually not over keen on Indian food said it was amazing best he'd ever had, and his Peshwari Nann was so fresh. We were so impressed we rang to tell them. Very accommodating to serve me takeout late at night! I love the chicken saag! it's the best. it actually makes me hungry to write this review, a must if you are in stone wanting to eat so great food.

Brilliant meal and excellent service. Would recommend to anyone fancying a decent curry in Stone. Not rushed through the meal like other places and a really nice menu. The chap serving was very attentive, gave some good recommendations and couldn't do more for us.

Went here for food on New Year’s Eve and the food was lovely as usual! We’ve been here a few times now over the years and have never been disappointed. Can’t fault service at all! Tried all the curry houses in stone and this is by far the best.

Four of us went on a Saturday night. We loved our meals. But to be totally honest some meals were more authentic than other's. The chicken Balti my wife said she'd had better. But both me and my cousin really enjoyed ours. The chicken Korai was full of diced onions and peppers which made for the flavour.

Great food, delivered on time, perfect. Veggie side dishes brilliant! Please do a main dish version of these!!

Went on a busy Saturday night so had a wait for the always excellent food. Very thoughtful waiters. Small place so might need some planning. They stayed open for a late booking though

We had a really delicious and enjoyable meal here. The owner was welcoming and helped us communicate to the kitchen to get the perfect level of spice.

The takeaway service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and hot. We went and picked ours up and received a 25% discount. Couldn't fault anything.

Fantastic food, nothing to much trouble. Brought out extra dips when we ran out for the popadoms. They were very attentive and sorted a small issue out with our order. Couldn't ask for a better night out, We will definitely be going back again.

Cosy and treated with the highest respect. The chef is even prepared to cook any food at request, my wife only eats English food but came with us and had a lovely meal made to an excellent standard. Not cheap meals but in no way expensive for the quality.

An extensive menu, the food was very good , I particularly liked their combination section allowing trialling two selections for the price of one, Rice was included in the pricing. No individual tonic bottles so my gin was drowned otherwise a good experience

Just finished a takeaway from here. After paying £32 something and waiting an hour. ( I had a pint as well) to get back and find no rice and just average food we were more than disappointed. We do have an extra nan bread for the ducks though. As it happens we're just passing through so will not be using again. I think the 4.7 star rating on here has been fluffed. Also I was charged for a complimentary drink. Well done for that. You even managed to forget about the 25% discount for takeaway.

Lovely food. We can highly recommend this Indian restaurant. Its always on our itinerary when we visit Stone.
