Had The Mill as our wedding venue last week. It was fantastic. The people working there are brilliant and the food was amazing. We had a beautiful day and our guests were blown away with everything. We also stayed overnight in the rooms, which were equally amazing with very friendly staff. I can't recommend The Mill enough.

Fantastic meal we had the vegan paella it was lovely so filling and tasty, staff very friendly and attentive will definitely go back again. The building is historic and still has a wheel absolutely recommend to everyone reasonably priced great food.

From the moment we booked until the day after our wedding I cannot fault this venue, Jose or the staff. Everything we needed was catered for. Communication was amazing and any questions were answered quickly and so friendly. Jose is an absolute credit to the mill. Our wedding day was beautifully perfect and that is all thanks to Jose and his staff. The food was gorgeous. We may not have been able to have our ceremony outside (typical English weather) but everything was planned for and ran smoothly. Would highly recommend this venue time and time again, you won't be disappointed here.

Stay hear a couple of weeks ago with my partner, was made extremely welcome with all staff members, rooms are beautiful, full English breakfast each morning was fantastic.

Had our wedding here a month ago and it was just perfect. José and the team really helped the day run so smooth. Venue is gorgeous and not too intimidating either. Even though unfortunately we had torrential downpours the day was made very special

We enjoyed a fabulous tapas sharing feast for 2 here one evening. Food was absolutely delicious - really well cooked & great flavours. Service was great - really friendly staff. Lovely setting. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel the evening of our wedding along with alot of our friends and family. The hotel was amazing and the staff were simply fabulous. Nothing was to much trouble. Our room was beautiful and we wouldn't have wished to be anywhere else. Great breakfast the next morning. Thank you all for everything, you made our wedding day and night the best we could have wished for. Absolutely would recommend and already have done!!

Jose and the team at the mill hotel and restaurant are wonderful, they made our special day a dream come true. Nothing was to much hassle for them and they made the day run super smoothly. The food was out of this world and service was spot on! Very efficient, organised and a beautiful place. So happy for it to be apart of our memories and look forward to coming back to see the team and enjoy some more delicious food! 5 stars from us!

What a personal and fabulous venue with an amazing caring owner Jose and fantastic staff with delicious food! I had my wedding at the mill on the 8th September and everything from start to finish was amazing. The venue itself is beautiful. We was luckily enough to get married outside and the outdoor space is stunning. The food served during the day was incredible. Some of guests stayed at the accommodation and it was spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious! Jose was the perfect host. He made everything so easy and everything I asked and requested he replied promptly and made sure the day flowed. Thank you Jose and family for making our day so special xx

Had the most beautiful wedding at the Mill, Jose and family was nothing but accommodating, helpful and upbeat. No matter what everything would be smooth and nothing was ever a hassle, he was extremely organised when it came too the whole day and even had a special moment where he took amazing, beautiful photos of us on the big day which was an extra lovely touch! The venue itself is stunning from the exterior to the interior, very clean and welcoming. Hotels were also spacious and comfortable only thing I would mention is within the bridal suite I think it’s benefit from having a better area for hair and make up in regards to having a seated table area so the artists have an easier place to work. However there is seating for when you get these things done which is good so everything was still able to go smoothly. The food itself was gorgeous and very beautiful presentation, great portion and tasted just as lovely! Everyone was raving about it! I can’t thank everyone enough for everything for making our day amazing I can’t wait to come back to spend time here again, much love mr and Mrs Searle! 💞

We had my daughter and new son in laws wedding here , everything was fantastic. Jose and his family where fantastic . The venue was beautiful, the accommodation was lovely , the breakfast was delicious, perfect location , couldn't be happier, thank you Jose xxx

We arranged a Christmas Party for a group of independent businesses that all work together in one way or another at the mill last night and it was truly wonderful. The food was outstanding and the staff excellent and so friendly! Their christmas party menu was spot on, the best turkey dinner I’ve had in a restaurant! We also had the beef wellington and the paella which also got good reviews! We couldn’t have eaten anymore! They had opened the restaurant just for us as they don’t normally open on a Sunday, which we hadn’t realised when we booked it which was amazing. There was no rushing us out, it was really relaxing and enjoyable!! If you’re looking to do a Christmas party definitely go to the Mill!

We had our wedding here and Jose and his team made the day so warm and welcoming to our friends and family. They made the planning process very easy and stress free for us.Their hospitality and kindness is second to none and made the day so enjoyable. We held our wedding at this venue and also stayed in the rooms at the hotel. Our wedding was the most perfect day, nothing was too much trouble- everything ran smoothly and Jose made the whole process from start to finish seamless. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on how beautiful the food was, the canapés , the three course meal and our evening hog roast were delicious. The rooms we spotless, and the beds were super comfy and the breakfast was beautiful :) I can not recommend this place enough , Jose and his team are incredible at what they do. It is family ran and it really does make a difference , you never feel like just another wedding . We felt like our wedding was the most important thing to team and nothing was to much trouble. We will certainly be using the mill again for any future events and will recommend anyone who is thinking of using the mill for their special day to go ahead. Had a fantastic day celebrating my daughters wedding last Saturday. Jose and his team did an amazing job. The room looked beautiful and the food was exceptional. The venue was ideal and the good weather made it very memorable. Thanks to all and not forgetting the breakfast

Havent been to The Mill for over 30 years. When we arrived felt worried as it was empty but the waiter was really friendly the food was lovely , steak was cooked perfectly. The Churros were beautiful. Will definitely visit again more people need to find this gem perhaps some midweek offers to entice people

Absolutely blown away with the services we recieved from Jose and his amazing team! Nothing was ever too much trouble, from our very 1st meeting right through to our amazing wedding day. Jose made our dreams come true and even made the sunshine ❤️ for our outdoor ceremony. We left Jose and the team with our vision and they pulled it off to perfection. The food was delicious, service was quick. The whole experience from start to finish was carried out with precision and perfection. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jose at The Mill.

Jose and his team granted us the pleasure of using his venue for our wedding and they did not disappoint. Where can I start? We had our wedding at The Mill this February. Not only do you get the absolutely fabulous and beautiful venue that The Mill is, you get the wonderful team that work so hard to make it what it is. Every single thing was perfect, start to finish, from the day we booked all the way up to the big day. Jose is fabulous and really makes the venue what it is, nothing is too much for him. The rooms are lovely, the food is to die for, the drinks selection on the bar is brill. There is seriously not a single thing I can fault and I wish I could do our special day all over again. Very poor. Had Christmas dinner here and the food can only be described as what you would receive in school. Everything is done on the cheap, from the food to the decor to even the condiments. For such a lovely building, it’s a shame it’s such a poor restaurant. It needs new owners with a big investment

Had our beautiful wedding here on the 14th sep 22 an absolutely magical day. Jose and the team helped us all the way through planning with constant updates.Being a nervous bride Jose made me feel calm and relaxed on the day.Decorations were absolutely perfectly placed and the food was incredible.thumbs up to the chef!!! If you are considering having your wedding here then do it! Thank you so much to you all for making our day unforgettable but you’ll definitely see us again❤️

Visited for my best friend's wedding, what a beautiful venue! The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. The bride had a wonderful day and said how easy the Mill made it for her to organise everything. A picturesque setting to boot. Highly recommended!

Arrived at 4pm We have a room asked about food tonight only to find booked out for a function so no room at the inn for us tonight. Nothing forthcoming so we asked were we could eat We were told lots of places to eat in the high street !!. Then asked about breakfast and asked what time we wanted it not breakfast is served between 7 to 9 for instance. The reason we booked here because it had a restaurant so we did not have to travel out to find somewhere basically it needs it's customer care asap

Played here as a saxophonist for a wedding. Beautiful intimate location. The owner Jose, top friendly gentleman. Although i have not tried the restaurant the food at the wedding was great. Lovely service all round. Definatley worth checking out :)

We attended our nephew’s wedding here yesterday. The welcome was warm, food was excellent and the setting was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and our host. All in all we had a great time and would recommend The Mill House at Stone to a prospective bride and groom

Got there at 8pm Friday and got a lovely greeting of the hosts. Room was beautiful and comfy. Breakfast was outstanding on both days. Went to a party at the venue and they couldn't do enough for us. The food again was delicious. I can recommend this hotel and venue to everyone x
