We
decided
to
try
this
pub
on
a
Thursday
night
for
a
small
family
dinner
as
we’re
fairly
local
and
had
never
been.
Also
it
is
pet
friendly
so
we
could
bring
our
dog
along,
which
is
always
nice.
The
menu
has
a
little
of
everything
and
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
to
see
that
I
could
get
a
burger
with
a
gluten
free
bun!.
The
salt
and
pepper
squid
was
cooked
just
right
and
seasoned
well,
which
was
lovely.
The
baked
truffle
Camembert
was
delicious.
The
burger
was
cooked
well
and
flavorful-
it’s
basically
2
thinner
burgers
(instead
of
1
big
one)
so
the
meat
is
well
seasoned
and
cooked
nicely
altho
with
the
2
patties
it
is
very
filling
and
couldn’t
quite
finish
it.
Also
had
the
minute
steak
which
was
also
cooked
nicely
and
flavorful.
Finally
we
had
the
sticky
toffee
pudding
which
was
divine.
Unfortunately
don’t
have
pics
of
everything
we
ate
as
some
of
it
was
gobbled
up
quickly
before
pic
could
be
taken,
sorry!
Overall
very
satisfying
meal
and
the
ambience
is
warm
and
homely,
staff
are
friendly…great
local
find.
Will
be
back!
