Like everyone else said before, I never seen more then 1 staff member no matter what time..always long long que. How the heck a town centre post office run by 1 staff. Don’t they see how long que build up every day? They should either change the management or give this job to new franchise! I wish I could give 0 star.

Without a doubt the slowest and worst Post Office I've ever used. I don't think I've ever seen more than one person serving, which just results in appalling queue times, today I waited 35 minutes before eventually giving up. Desperately needs more staff or at least self-serve kiosks.

There's four tills and only one person working on a till, even when three of the till operators are there and messing around kidding on they're doing things; queue is right out of the door and when you finally get to a till you're greeted with a till operator who is rude - hate going here but I've no choice. If you're going here, prepare to wait 30+ minutes, it's just a terrible experience.

Slowest post office I’ve ever experienced. Currently waiting in line, 16 people waiting and only one employee who spends up to 15 minutes per person. This is pure insanity. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Honestly, I don't normally review post offices but this has to be done. This post office needs new management or something. Not only are they extremely understaffed. People will happily go to lunch even when there's a mile long queue. I understand people being slow but this is beyond slow. even if the queue is short you'll be waiting more than 20+ minutes just to be seen. I have a Drop and Go account with Royal mail and even that doesn't save me from distress. I had dropped a parcel off on a Monday. Drop and go, Marked it as URGENT legit need it to be processed same day or next day at the latest. I told the staff member on site (the guy who sits on the far left with the magnifier) to do it either today or tomorrow morning early at the latest as its urgent, he told me it will be done. Now to my surprise these we're never done. Not for a entire week. I work weird hours so i had to BOOK A DAY OFF. TO GO INTO THE Post office to collect my parcels to go to a different post office in London for better service. What the heck? Can Royal mail not staff at least 3 people in the store. Ive been travelling further out to find a different post office close to my house because this one sucks. And i wish it didn't. Also ive had 2 parcels lost in the post office and told i should claim even though the tracking still says its waiting to be collected from the post office.

I can't get the package I order another delivery I wait all day at home and the postman never comes. this post office is the worst I've ever met in my life. The postman from Gresham Road on Staines is the laziest man I've ever seen. I've been trying to pick up a package for a week that I need you cheeky hunk

The worst run post office I have ever experienced in the Uk . Ever! 40 min queue to send a parcel with no customer service whatsoever. 1 (one) cashier at all times. Avoid at all cost.

I think this is the worst post office in the country. When you're lucky there are only 2 tills open but the staff members are really slow and unwilling to help. Sometimes happens that while there is a huge queue, the staff member close the till to count money and he disappears for 10 minutes. Today I went to process Amazon return and they sent me back because the run out of Amazon "special" bags and they couldn't do anything else. They told me to go to another post office. I would also like to mention that the place is alway dirty and unwelcoming.

13 people waiting in a queue now, no open till and rhe only officer is helping the postman to collect parcels. Can the manager of this shop do something about this awful service please as not the first time I've experienced this. Thank you.

For a larger post office in a big town the service is dreadful. Always a big queue with one person serving. Don’t bother coming here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady in the counter is lovely and helpful but 1 person to look after a long line of customers on peak time. Every day of the week or time you come to this post office it's the same situation. A customer in the line has asked a WHSmith why there's not more people working and the employee has extremely rude, saying if customers willing to pay more for post office they will have more employees???? How this is the customer problem for lack of employees?

For a change no long queues and there were actually 2 members of staff, very pleasant surprise.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The post office is meant to open at 9am so why can't the dtaff respect this and wctuslly open at 9? Sometimes we're in s rush to catch trains and busses so ponctuality would be great from the post office. Had to wait 20 minutes after the so called openening time and another 20 minutes for the staff to finish talking and open the tills

5pm on a Friday and there is one young lady patiently serving a never ending queue! It’s been so busy that some stamps are sold out & she has to manually print each one. What a superstar. I’m grateful she was there & I could send my overseas cards.

Have nothing better to do while I continue waiting in line on a Saturday. Been here 15 minutes and not moved while the SINGLE employee deals with god knows what at the front of the queue. Meanwhile, 4 empty positions closed and no staff. 3:30pm.

Extremely slow service. Only 1 person serving customers at any given time while the rest of the staff are busy counting coins. Expect long wait times and extremely slow service. Took me 25 minutes waiting and another 15 to send 3 small parcels

No staff at all …. Pregnant and disable people waiting to be served and there’s only 1 person doing everything. Better closedown

  • 1/5 Ley L. 2 years ago on Google
Worst post office ever, only one staff behind the counter, average waiting time is 20 minutes so be prepared. This is normal for this post office hence my 1 star is very generous.

  • 1/5 Vladimira V. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely appalling service! During Christmas time, only one person working behind the counter. The second one standing behind her or waking around. If I could give zero stars, I would. I highly doubt they are reading these reviews as clearly no reviews were taken into consideration. Disgusting!

The post office here is ridiculous it always takes forever to get something sent of and not only that there's a guy who works behind the counter who can't even see properly and always gets the postcode wrong you need to get rid of him

  • 1/5 Marria A. 1 year ago on Google
This post office could not be any more useless if they tried! They are RIDICULOUSLY slow. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

New lady that works there is super friendly and met my requirements as I explained the situation I had and done everything I asked for. Pointless negative reviews for below if you can see there is less workers is it the staff fault or company? Company fault they are trying their best and least you are seen too.

Literally walked off whilst serving me for about 10 minuted - huge queue behind me and one girl wandering around doing nothing rather than opening another position! Disgusted.

After spending 20 minutes in the queue with 12 others, a lady asked the staff member if anyone else was available but fornsome reason everyone has taken the lunch at the same in the back office, a bit of common sense at lunch time it will be a busy period Ending up driving to ashford and had my letter posted which was probably quicker then waiting in there for staff

Probably the most painful experience I have had, What a waist of life try not to use this painfully slow understaffed post office

Sent a letter special delivery yesterday, it’s still showing today as not been processed by this branch, when I spoke with Royal Mail they said it’s very likely that it’s still in the branch or the barcode has been damaged, but the latter is unlikely as it’s not even registered leaving, had it been damaged at the branch a new bar code would have been used. Frustrating as it was an important document I’m trying to send
