This hospital has one of the absolute worst doctors I have ever had to deal with. This doctor has absolutely no problem wanting to discharge an 18 yr old diabetic gastroparesis/POTS/ anxiety patient home while not tolerating fluids or food. So she isn’t eating or drinking and she is just supposed to go home. Then was told well she hasn’t vomited since being admitted. What is she supposed to vomit? Air? She hasn’t eaten. I mean really. Then when patient asked for pain med or anxiety med 18 yr old patient is “drug seeking. “. No patient should be scared to ask for medication when they are suffering. I am disgusted at the “care,” my daughter, “received” or should say didn’t receive at Cherokee Medical. Please don’t bring anyone you care about to this hospital. They won’t receive the care they need or deserve.

If I could leave a review with negative stars I would! I came in with classic heart attack symptoms. They never once followed chest pain protocol. I asked one of the nurses when this treatment they were giving me became chest pain protocol and her exact words were "well its not really protocol but I guess it can be". They treated me for stomach pain and anxiety. The Dr told me it was not her job to figure out what was going on but to rule out an emergency. She said I needed to get an appointment with my primary care who had told me to go to the er. They continuously came in and out of my room like it was a storage unit looking for things for other patients. They were rude and the cleaning lady came in and started towards my bed and did not announce herself at all and started cleaning like I wasn't in the room. The room did not need to be cleaned. She also answered her cell phone while in my room and started yelling profanities. I 10/10 would not recommend going here. I did not receive appropriate care. The medication that was given was for stomach and anxiety they asked Iif it worked I said no. They asked if my pain was still at an 8 I said yes and they brought in my discharge papers. The bed I laid in also had a tag on it that said "broke".

This hospital is by far the most unprofessional and rude medical facility I have ever known. We are a family that work within the healthcare field. But when having family in their medical facility they act as if it is an inconvenience or a problem that you are concerned about your family. They actually become downright rude even when you have permission to get information!! (Meaning the passcode) And this is when dealing with the nursing staff. It seems as if they are upset that you know the correct questions to ask. Also that you are aware of proper procedures and policies. I have never heard of a hospital letting a patient drive themselves home after DISCHARGE!! I can completely understand the two and a half star review. If I could I would have given you a ZERO!! It definitely needs to be some retraining done.

At the emergency room now August 10 2:12 am. The lobby is empty. We have been waiting at least an hour and a half. My daughter was inquiring how much longer would it be. The clown, Gina, at the service desk went out of her way to be rude. When my daughter was talking to the other personnel Gina continue to interrupt. BTW we are still sitting in the empty lobby. Hold on another sick person came in. They should probably change the name from Emergency room to heaven or hell waiting room. Customer service and care is a negatives stars for me. Not sure If they realize people are here because they don't feel well.

Took me in. Saved my leg and my life. Only a LEGAL disagreement keeps me from giving them 5 stars. Well that along with one of the nurses being not good. Would I recommend yes.

Arrived this morning around 4am with severe lower back pain. Was taken straight back to a room where everyone on staff that came in was so sweet and showed concern and compassion for me and the pain I was in.They truly understood how much I was hurting. After getting care to relieve my pain and running tests,it was determined I had kidney stones.I was literally drained and the nurses allowed me to rest before going home.Thank you all for showing compassion and giving such wonderful care.Y’all are amazing !!!

Not even a fetal heart monitor way to cut out natural medical emergencies go ahead and focus on drug related gun shots our community is so proud. I'm sure an extra 35 min to the next emergency room won't hurt at all. Wonder what politics played a part in Spartanburg regional buying them out and forcing all the fetal medicine to their Spartanburg hospital. Wonderful job serving the community. I hope there is a special place in hell for those involved if there's is any justice in the world.

Dr. Roy needs an attitude check! His treatment of my mother this morning was AWFUL! All he did was get her horribly upset. He doesn't need to be treating people!

First time going here since I moved to Gaffney. I went in with chest pain and felt everyone really cared for my concerns. The test all happened quickly and I never had to wait a long time for anything. They gave me some peace of mind and a new prescription to help with the discomfort.

I had a HIDA Scan done here and I was very nervous before we started, but Rodrick took the time to explain everything to me beforehand and went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions! He was fantastic, caring, and kind!

I am irate right now now. I'll try to keep this short. My wife is not the complaining type and doesn't like going to a doctor unless it's an absolute last resort. She went in to be checked out this morning from weeks of being sick. They performed the usual test of covid, flu & rsv swab n triage and sent her on her way without knowing any results. She was told to check her " My Chart" later when the results come in. They did absolutely nothing!!

If I could give negative stars I would. 10/10 don’t recommend this hospital, unless it’s an absolute emergency and this is the closest thing to you. Even then I wouldn’t come here . Waiting room times are a Joke. The pa mr. Godfrey is a joke. This hospital just needs to be shut down. Been here twice within the last 4 days and the wait just to be seen is ridiculous .

Had to pay a visit to the ER and everyone from registration to the techs, nurses and doctor were amazing. We could not have asked for a better experience. They recognized the seriousness of the situation and within a few minutes everything that should have happened did!! This is not the hospital of days gone by.

Been setting in lobby for 3 hours now might have a broke ankle and they have not gave me no ice pack or nothing nothing for pain at all this place is a joke and I do not recommend anyone coming here unless a life or death situation gave a one star but wish I could give a negative rating so 10 out of 10 do not recommend 🙃

10/10 would NOT recommend!!! We took our son in for his ankle, they said it was just a sprain. We were back in the ER 3 days later. He began to run a high uncontrollable fever, his ankle became hot to the touch, he couldn’t bear any weight on it and was in unbelievable pain. The staff was “friendly” but definitely not attentive or helpful. We waited in the ER for over FOUR hours and he was never seen. His father and I decided to leave and have him treated elsewhere!
