Lovely serene environment, a place worthy to spend some nights at in the Standerton area. Wonderful staff and a nice feeling buffet if you go B&B. Very much worth recommending as first choice B&B guesthouse.

We stopped for tea and ended up getting a tour of all the miniature succulents that Elmarie and Barry are growing and selling to the public. What a lovely couple and the most amazing plants!

I've only been here for a few minutes but I am impressed. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and an amazing bathroom I must add. It gives one that feeling of being home away from home. Every guest is given undivided attention and A glass of Sherry on a cold Standerton evening, what more can one ask for? Great service all round.

I was very disappointed at the service of their new " manager" I assume. I usually hold my events at Die Kliphuise , so I went to go get a quotation to host and it's been 3weeks now since the manager said hel send me a quote, when I went back last week to tell him I'm still waiting he gave me a stinking attitude. Wow what a disappointment to a place a really love .

The garden is so cute. The place is very antique. The staff is quite friendly as well. They have a new menu everyday for breakfast and dinner. My only issue is that the wifi didn’t work for me the whole time while I was there.

Considering the power issues I still feel that the meal was below standards once again. The fillet steaks ordered either medium or medium rare with both rare at best. The ice cream was icy frozen although they said it was home made I personally do not recommend the restaurant.

Stopped for lunch en route home to Joburg today. The chicken piccata was delicious. The flavours all blended together beautifully! I highly recommend them. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere.

Very disappointing stay, having opted for this place because of the reviews. Firstly, when I arrived, non of the staff members were wearing masks and wanted to assist me without wearing masks. It is only when I insisted that they wear masks that they did. One staff member who did not have a mask just took a mask off the face of another staff member. It made me wonder about the general compliance of the establishment with Covid protocols. Insofar as the room is concerned, although it looked clean, it did not smell clean. The bedding was certainly recycled and not fresh. With regards to the food, I waited for a long time for my dinner. Although the fish I ordered was well seasoned, it was overcooked and served as a lump on my plate. The veggies were also overcooked. Overall, it is an experience I would not like to repeat. Staff is friendly though. They just need to improve on their service offering.

I didn't like the place at all. The bed was not comfortable ,the curtains were torn. There's no generator when there's loadshedding the water become cold . It was a complete disaster..😭😭😭😭

The room had no separate toilet for privacy sake. Unlike other rooms. More of a prison cell, well decorated cell. Can't invite a person for a visit
