Stayed here a few times however our stay in December was exceptional! I've seen alot of improvements in the overall rooms and extra touches such as the mini fridge, new coffee machines and complimentary water. I want to say a big thank you to Michael, Jerome and the team for looking after us. We are looking forward to our next visit 😃.

Great rooms, I was one of the lucky ones with the perfect view, my friend didn't, she had buildings. Only critique was the shower water pressure and temperature wasn't great. Reception was really friendly and helpful, as well as the staff being the bar and dining hall. Beds were so lovely and massive. The rooms were spacious, perfect for a short stay. Highly recommend.

5 night stay. One of the nicest hotels we have been to. Great friendly helpful staff especially at reception. Clean and spacious hotel. We had a double room overlooking the Lanes. Great position. One entrance to the beach and the other entrance to the lanes. Excellent bar. We used room service once for dinner which was Silver service. Great desserts. Sorry but one downside . Our room a couple of times was not made up until late afternoon. We shall return. We'll done Leonardo

Lovely hotel stayed for my 40th! Room was nice bed comfy. Shower nice and big. Only criticism was the mat the cups are stood on was dusty so the rim of the cups had dust on them. Coffee machine leaked. Breakfast was lovely everything you could want. Staff were lovely throughout the hotel! Certainly would stay again.

I stayed for two nights. The gym had adequate kit for me to do a good pull day routine. Wasn’t too busy even though small space. Pool is small and you need to be creative to get round if you want to get some lengths in - especially with an old boy doing his aqua aerobics routine in the centre of the pool like when I visited. More of a leisure than fitness pool and nice beds to lounge on too. Sauna and steam room both very clean and good temperatures. My room was clean and well equipped. Excellent coffee and tea tray. Beds were comfy and great pillow selection. Breakfast is ok. Coming down at 8:30 some of the food looked a bit stale already and no warm pastries. I would have had the hummus and veggies if they didn’t look like already been out too long. Porridge is a bit sad slop. Good variety of fresh fruit. Omelette guy seems a big hit. Scrambled egg was a bit snotty textured. I’d stay again and seems still nice place under new management.

The hotel is nice overall - the staff are very friendly and kind, rooms spacious, breakfast ok and the location is superb. Our room had a spacious bed, a sofa and a small table which was very convenient. However, all the good things were ruined by poor housekeeping. Our room carpet was not hoovered, the bathroom was dirty with body fat on the wall tiles and the bath edges, the drain was blocked as the water was going down very slowly, the toilet was dirty inside (no toilet brush used after the previous guest I guess) and the toilet seat had yellow and brown marks underneath. The bathroom door had no lock, the sink had a crack in it and there was no toilet brush available. I also prefer to have a shower hose that you can hold and not the rain-type shower. The cleaning standards should improve significantly and the showers should be deep cleaned regularly. I also got confused with the parking, as there is the Lanes car park at the left side of the hotel, and one more at the front entrance. The one at the front entrance is underground and it says that it belongs to the hotel. However, if you have a ridiculously big SUV like me, I don’t think you can fit it as the entrance is very small. I think it’s worth mentioning it on the website. I ended up parking elsewhere. Good overall but could be much better. If I decided to stay in Brighton again, I would choose another hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights for work to attend a conference. Perhaps not the most inspiring decor in the rooms but what could you expect from a big chain. Great location, easy walking distance from the station and a right on the beach and The Lanes. Gym and pool facilities included too. Room was large and clean. Only issue I had was with the shower temperature fluctuating but I reported this and I'm sure it'll get fixed. Good breakfast too! Overall a very good hotel for my purposes.

The location is spot on and its got quality rooms. The service is nice and friendly too. Good breakfast is served and very nice staff. Housekeeping is a bit tied down which slows down the staff on that job, something for the management to sort out to be fair as the staff are doing their best. We had a good stay and will definitely return here on our next trip to Brighton.

Extremely happy with our stay here. I’m thinking perhaps the four star rating is stretching it a bit BUT we didn't pay four star prices (booked via Groupon 😉) & were very happy with the room (did notice the windows were less than perfect but was more interested in the view!) & the breakfast options available at the buffet. Unlike some of the other reviewers I am quite happy to serve myself breakfast, expected there to be compromises because of the global pandemic & found the staff to be super lovely. I would happily stay here again - especially with the deal we got 💪

Seafront hotel is located only 5 minutes from the pier. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room itself was more than adequate, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast provided offered full English or continental, depending on your preference. Parking was a bit pricey, but keep in mind that you're also paying for the convenience.

I stayed here for a 4 day conference. Location for the conference centre was quite good. I had a 1st floor room because of limited mobility. The room was a good size but the bed was a bit high especially for someone who has limited mobility. The shower was good but the shower tray was very slow to drain and the drain cover just floated around. The room keys stopped working twice on a five night stay. Not just one card but both and I kept them separate and away from anything that could interfere with their programing. Breakfast was good other than them running out of jam! Also rubbery scrambled eggs one morning. I had dinner there a couple of nights and the Lemon and Thyme chicken was lovely although wasn't served the same both times I had it. One night it came with a coleslaw the other night it didn't. I didn't mention this as coleslaw isn't mention on the menu although it was better with it! All in all it was an OK stay but not worth the money

The staff were absolutely phenomenal here. They all went above and beyond to give us the best experience! I didn’t the first room I was allocated and they went to great lengths to find me a better room and gave me a room with a partial sea front view which was an upgrade. The rooms were very comfortable and cosy and clean! The main area is absolutely beautiful and breakfast was really good. We ended up staying an extra night because of how much we enjoyed our stay! It’s in a great location opposite the sea along Brighton Waterway and a walk away from everything! Parking was a little expensive though - something like £20 for the night. When I was there back in July 2023, the lifts were also not working which wasn’t great we had to use the service lifts near the smelly bins. Also would’ve been nice to have croissants at breakfast but that’s just me being picky 😊

Subject: Exceptional Experience at Leonardo Royal Waterfront Hotel I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding experience I had during my recent stay at the Leonardo Royal Waterfront Hotel. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was blown away by the attention to detail and comfort provided. I want to extend a special thanks to Jerome for ensuring that every aspect of the room was impeccable and catered to my needs. Furthermore, I must commend Casey for his excellent service during check-in. His professionalism and friendliness made the process smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the warm welcome from Tessa and Lorita added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. The bar at the hotel served some of the finest cocktails I've ever tasted. It was evident that the bartenders are masters of their craft, and each drink was a delight to the senses. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms further enhanced my stay, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout. Last but certainly not least, I cannot speak highly enough of the breakfast served at the hotel. It was truly fantastic, with a wide array of options to choose from, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. In conclusion, my experience at the Leonardo Royal Waterfront Hotel surpassed all expectations. From the exceptional service to the exquisite amenities, every aspect of my stay was simply superb. Please extend my gratitude to your team for their dedication to providing an unforgettable guest experience. I look forward to the opportunity to visit your hotel again in the future. Warm regards,

Good quality hotel elevated through the quality of staff and the service they provide. It was very busy when we stayed and this had no effect on the quality of service, the rooms are clean, pleasant and well-appointed, breakfast selection was great and staff quickly cleared tables to keep up with demand. Reception staff and the manager went way above what I expected and cannot praise them enough - I'm definitely staying again!

I have stayed at this hotel before and I booked it again as I had enjoyed my last stay. Well, it seems like it all went down with the re-branding. Rude, dismissive and rather xenophobic staff, the shower curtain had writting on it when it became steamy with use. It was clearly not cleaned with cleaning products but just wiped clean. The breakfast was devoid of taste, I don't think I have ever had such a bad breakfast. There was no veggie sausage option either. Upon arrival, I was served a half full cup of coffee and the waitress was very rude and did not apologise. She went on to speak with another customer giving me the evil look. Upon arrival the Receptionist replied bluntly that he could not check us in earlier as the room was not available yet. Whereas I understand this, I found the way he replied to be very rude. When I checked in he left the desk with a note that I never complained. The waitress serving the drink at the bar was also rude and miserable. Your staff has the irritating rude kindness which is unbearable, the forceful way of intending to do ones job but failing "gracefully"! As much as I love the location, we won't be returning customers.

Came as part of a group but stayed with my partner longer. Puzzling place. No concierge at the front entrance with some guy sloppily leaning on the reception desk unresponsive when checking in instead. Homeless people at the front that make for a very unpleasant experience entering. Some French guy with cigarette breath hovering around check in upgrading rooms asking for guests to mention him on reviews. Saw him later again in some kind of ski coat looking like James Bond outside with a tall Amazonian women talking about firing the restaurant manager and the bar managers. No one at the bar whenever my partner seemed to want a drink on multiple occasions and when there were bartenders they couldn’t make classic cocktails instead recommending a cocktail bar nearby. Lovely service in the restaurant but hefty prices. Great breakfast. Frank is the star of the show at this hotel and saved the hotel from my partner and I making an huge complaint. And it was lovely to be greeted and told goodbye by the actual restaurant manager. Funny old place. Can’t really complain because of the prices but it’s quite sad to see all the cracks on show.

We stayed for one night in a family room. The room was lovely with two big beds. The staff in the reception area were lovely. One guy gave the kids colouring packs and sang happy birthday to our daughter on checking out when he saw her badge, which made her very happy. Breakfast was great, a big selection including lots of fresh fruit. My only issue is the pool was a little cold. The children still enjoyed it and asked when we could go back to stay!

On arrival we were met by a friendly concierge and receptionists and my wife politely asked as it was miserable weather that they could bring the sun out! They said they would try and to our astonishment upgraded us to the penthouse suite which was WOW! lovely huge suite big comfy bed, shower and bath, separate lounge with a perfect sea view. Fantastic night in brighton and a good nights sleep. day 2 the sun came out! delicious buffet all you can eat breakfast and still the friendliest staff we have ever met( sorry i set the toaster alight with a croissant) .in summary i could live there. thank you so much. my only regret is not remembering the staff members names who were above and beyond.

We were attending a concert at the Brighton Centre & the location of the hotel was perfect. The reception staff were helpful, explaining the spa & breakfast facilities well (although we didn't get time to use the pool, so I can't comment on that). We had a standard double room which was very spacious, clean & comfortable - the coffee machine was a nice touch. The breakfast was very tasty with quite a large selection of both continental & cooked breakfast & we had a lovely view of the seafront from our table. Added bonus of reduced parking cost. It was not the cheapest place to stay, but all things considered, I felt it was worth the money & would stay again.

The inside of the hotel has a lovely grand feel. Very helpful and friendly staff, nice sized rooms and good utilities. Bar staff were nice, great drinks. Happy with breakfast too. The pool was a nice size for relaxing in, but the pool, sauna and steam room were all below normal temperatures.

Was really pleased with the hotel and staff members was very polite the food was nice also. Breakfast was a selection of cereals bread and there wad also one one always making you a nice fresh omelet and pancakes. Freshly squeezed smoothie. Also the indoor pool was lovely and clean. At a great location opposite the seafront and not fat from the pear. Rooms aren't a bad size either. Definitely recommend staying here.

We really loved staying at this hotel and will be back again. I called beforehand to change from a double to a twin room and central reservations were of no help, but as soon as I spoke to someone at the actual hotel, they couldn't do enough. Annie at check-in was ace. So was the lady night porter. The rooms were great with 2 big beds, good shower and great air conditioning. It was a bit annoying that our key was deactivated twice, but I figured out this was the magnet closure in my bag. It was just a long walk back to reception, so be careful. We had a room with a view into the large atrium. Breakfast has a really good selection but the temperature of the food on the hot buffet was too cold, that was my only complaint at breakfast time. We were there early enough to grab a seaview table which was lovely. We used the gym and swimming pool and were really disappointed that 1 treadmill and 2 cross trainers were out of action and the staff member had no interested in talking to or helping anyone. Which was the complete opposite to what we had experienced everywhere else in the hotel. It's a superb location, with access from the front to the beach or the back to the lanes. You can't fault it.

Stayed here for two nights for a city break with my daughter. Great location but the hotel is tired and shabby on the exterior and the lifts were out of order. This was an issue as we had asked for a high floor to take advantage of the sea view and traipsing up and down the dimly lit, concrete staircase was not what we had hoped for. These stairs screamed council car park chic! The room was spacious and the bed comfy but did not get serviced as the housekeeping Department is hugely understaffed meaning they hadn't reached our room by 5pm when we returned from a day out to get ready for dinner. The staff member I spoke to was clearly stressed out, but very helpful in supplying us with more tea, milk and loo roll and very apologetic. Having paid for an executive room, it would have been nice to have a bath as well as a shower, or at least a bathroom without peeling paint on the door and grubby grout. The promised mineral water that should have been included was missing. When the front desk finally picked up the phone I was told their delivery of large water bottles hadn't arrived. I would need to purchase water at the bar, and no, room service couldn't deliver (bear in mind the lift was out of order). I expressed my disappointment with customer service and this must have made an impact as shortly afterwards a member of staff appeared with some bottles of water. The swimming pool was freezing and occupied by four very noisy children, so not quite the relaxing interlude it could have been. Despite all the above, we still enjoyed our time in Brighton. When we return we will stay somewhere better maintained. Such a shame to waste a prime location in this way 😕

Had a lovely stay here at Jurys inn Brighton waterfront we stayed in a executive room with king size bed. Hotel is very clean. We used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Also had a evening meal and breakfast and both was very nice. Went to a show at the Brighton centre just up the road to watch the Australian Pink Floyd which was fantastic.

My husband & I stayed from Friday to Monday for a business trip. The staff were friendly & nothing was too much of a problem. Had an issue with the iron in room this issue was resolved quickly & the duty manager Jerome & the team were professional & empathic . Iron was replaced & reimbursement of a business shirt swiftly dealt with. Jerome & the team were friendly & acted in a professional manner. My husband is a wheelchair user very impressed as a full risk assessment was carried out . Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really great location. We had a very noisy room though it sounded like the laundry room was just above us and i got woke a few times by the noise of a banging washing machines. The GYM is compact but good. Pool and sauna was nice and clean. The lobby is excellent great atmosphere and lots of places to sit. The bar people were very good at what they do and even though they were nearly closing the guy still made is some really nice cocktails 👌. Only reason i don't give service five stars is because the reception rang us a couple of times for check out even though we asked for late check out.

Great location, great room, comfy bed. However, no hot water in the morning for a shower and shower gel bottle was virtually empty. Cooked breakfast was very average, bacon not cooked enough either. Staff nice. Main atrium upstairs was far too hot.

I was unsure about staying in a hotel, with the view in the lobby, but the rooms are large, quiet and very clean, the hotel smells so nice. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and a very wide choice. The hotel has doors that lead straight to the lanes. I will definitely stay here again.

Best Hotel in Brighton! I was highly impressed upon arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Drink prices in the bar were reasonable considering its a hotel and prime location. Right opposite sea front! Decor was modern and had a very warm and cozy atmosphere. Exterior building doesn't look much but interior looks amazing I was taken aback. Rooms are a very decent size and again cozy and warm decor with heating and air con. The rooms i felt although are expensive are very much worth the money and the complimentary things were a lovely touch. Swimming pool wasn't open due to cleanliness but the sauna/ steamroom lovely. Seats around pool nice touch and it felt relaxing there. Very clean all round and clean toilets in lobby always a good sign! Beds were comfortable with ample space. And as stated above the location is perfect front entrance on the sea front and back entrance on to the high street close to local amenities restaurants, pubs and bus routes. I will be returning hopefully soon in future this is my go to hotel in Brighton and I highly recommend to anyone so thank you to the staff it was amazing!

Myself and my friend have stayed at the Waterfront a few times and I wanted to leave a review for this visit as we had a lovely time. Check in was so welcoming and the rooms were spotless and airy, roomy with fabulous views. We had a swim and a steam in the relaxing spa and breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Check out was simple and the staff are thoughtful, friendly and a credit to Jurys Inn Brighton Waterfront. The attention to detail was exceptional. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel location is perfect being on the sea front, very close to the pier and the town centre with all the bars and restaurants. Although the hotel doesn’t look like anything special from outside it isn’t until you step inside and see the beauty of this building. Check in was so simple with a very friendly member of staff. I had already checked in online a few days before and then had an email on the day to say my room was ready. The room was a really good size with a huge bed. Great views over the beach. Bathroom was clean, simple and with a lovely powerful walk in shower. Bed was super comfy (although i found the pillows to hard to my taste) Nice sized telly on the wall and with the normal tea and coffee making. Breakfast was a buffet style but was really good. A huge selection from cooked breakfast to toast, cereal and cheese/cold meats. I really enjoyed it and it was included with the room when we booked it. Had a few drinks in the bar one evening which was really nice, was nice to sit in the beauty of this hotel, while seating at a table looking out to Brighton beach. All the staff we spoke to were friendly, helpful and had a smile on there face. This is an amazing little hotel and being that we booked it through Groupon with breakfast. Very happy and i will definitely be returning to this hotel very soon.

The hotel is very well located in front of the sea side, outdoor building is not so nice but inside is very spacious with nice furniture Bedrooms are very large, clean and bed are very comfortable. Our room was located in the last floor looking inside the patio and our view was on a safety net probably due to a maintenance work what makes it weird... Free access to the pool, fitness steam and dry room The breakfast is very large and good with a lot of different options and you can have a table facing the sea, breakfast staff very efficient Ken the concierge is very kindly and helpful

Beautiful hotel in perfect location just in front of the water and close to pier. Large reception area and nice decor. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Rooms comfortable with bath. Beach is all pebbles however my kids still loved playing on it. So much action around this hotel and many restaurants to choose from. Convenient parking indoors.

Perfect location, across the road from the seafront and near Brighton Pier as well as The Lanes. The hotel is very clean, the staff were polite and friendly and the room was great. We had a twin room and we were very happy to find two double beds! The room was very clean and peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful too, with lots to choose from. I think 4pm check in time seems rather late, luckily we could leave our bags with Reception in order to go out before check in as well as after checking out. I would definitely stay in this hotel again! Highly recommended for a stay in Brighton.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a great time! Our room with a sea side view was spacious, clean with an amazing view of the sea! We had an issue with the air conditioning which was immediately addressed and resolved. Great customer service experiences in general! Good standard of breakfast that is served till 11am. Out of all the sea front hotels in Brighton we stayed before that is the best hotel so far. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I stayed here when we got engaged in 2020 and came back this weekend to celebrate 1 year until our wedding. As always, amazing sea views, high standards throughout, and lovely staff. Special mention to Ken and Beatrice for being particularly wonderful!

Stayed for 2 nights with my family. The kids loved the pool and the room was perfectly adequate if not very big. There was an issue with a lack of towels for the pool and the breakfast quality was not really up to other hotels, however it’s in a great location and the rooms are quiet. A sea view was requested but clearly the hotel didn’t have any available as we looked out over the reception.
