We touch the traces of history from the ruins of the castle. The Polish nobles had a great dream more than 300 years ago. He built his castle in time. Including four buildings in the year. 12 rooms about 12 months , 365 windows because there are 365 days in a year. It's wonderful!

Great place for families and all others who like to visit old castles. It is well preserved and from year to year more parts are restored. There is also a lot of space for picnic.

Amazing place to visit, it would be 5 stars if it had more information about the castles history in English. The opening times are really good usually museums close around 17.00 to 18.00 but this one is closes at 20.00. The visit took us a little over 2 hours There is lot to see and I would recommend visiting the castleruins

This is incredible ruins of castle, once being majestic. You can feel the power being here, taking look in every crevice and hall, even basement. When visiting in windy weather make sure to wear a jacket because wind rushes through the open aisles and halls making harsh streams of cold air. They have small restaurant inside, where someone can have warm coffe with something sweet

Absolutely spectacular and worth a visit. It's so grandiose and lavish. Built with no expenses spared, up to the highest standards to satisfy the taste of the most noble of Polish society. Yes, today is all in ruin, just a skeleton of once majestic creation, but is still awe-inspiring, vast and nicely kept. The legend about a fish tank being placed instead of the ceiling above their studies shows you the scale of this castle! You can easily spend a good few hours here, with plenty of souvenir stalls just on the other side of the road. Thera are 4 paths leading you throughout different levels, starting with the basement where the stables with marble trough used to be and be aware, you can choose a pathe requiring squatting quite low! Then ground level to higher floors offering breathtaking views. There's a café there an very decent toilets. Do not hesitate and let your imagination run free!

Great little caste to walk around and have some souvenirs and nice coffee in the cafeteria. 13 zloty is the normal ticket for adults. Worth to be outside and have walk around the castle, nice place nothing extremely special worth to stop.

Beautiful castle. It has a real "castle" vibe with it's dungeon and medieval music at some points. I loved it, totally worth visiting. There's free parking as well.

Quite interesting place. The fact it's not restored is rather positive as it creates the atmosphere

Lovely place to visit. The adult ticket is 12 PLN (~£3) There is no guide but there are signs to guide you around (only in Polish), and by my visit, the vast majority of the castle was open, which was pretty cool. Outside are little shops, souvenirs and ice-cream spots. To get here, I have driven, and the roads around are countryside roads.

Krzyżtopór Castle is a king as castle ruins go. For just 20zl or 5 euros give or take. You can freely explore and try to find all the windows. This massive beauty will give you an adventure for its paths and tunnels are everywhere! Easy to get lost but easy to find the main square. Good for kids, accessible for invalid people 5/5

Quite an impressive castle, in ruin, but well preserved. Many accesses to various areas. Audio guide available. Recommend to have a look if you're nearby.

Really amazing monument. It is really worth to visit the castle inside but also to walk around outside the walls. Your will find the river source behind the castle

Fancy some historical experience? This place is perfect for you and your family. If you lucky enough you can watch knight fight!

Wow, this place is huge, real maze of corridors and chambers. Almost every part of the castle is accessible. Real challenge to try to see all rooms and not get lost. Well preserved, given no visible restoration works (apart from one artificial ceiling and some stairs). It's big enough to accommodate a few hundreds tourists without being crowded. When we visited there were well over 100 people (one bus and around 40 personal vehicles) yet we were alone in most of the rooms. Overall great experiences!

One of the coolest castle ruins I've ever seen. To imagine what this castle looked like at its peak is wild. Plenty of gift shops and souvenirs to be collected here. The area around it is extremely nice and peaceful. Anyone who is interested in history, castkes, or architecture must come here. Words can not explain how interesting and cool this place is

There is an app providing AR view spheres of how it's supposed to look like, there are a few pathways that allow to see it in all it's glory. Shame there's no informational plates or signs for when you're visiting solo/without a guide. But, a pretty little place nonetheless.
