Excellent restoration/ conversion of a barn to a cozy hotel. Great location. Friendly landlady. Basic but good breakfast. The room and washroom were extremely clean. Like most hotels in Norway, the rooms are small. Full occupancy in certain rooms (5 beds in our room. 2 and 3 up) may feel crowded. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Free &/ample parking in front of the hotel. Free WiFi. Common area include refrigerator and kitchen.

My car broke down near arendal at midnight, i was looking for hotel to stay for couple hours but unsuccesfully, i called there and the owner helped me with with transportation to the place, was very helpfull and friendly. everything about this place is amazing, the room is small but you have everything that you need in there, its very clean and warm, perfect choice for 1-2 persons ❤️

Wonderful place, super hospitality. I could feel like being at home. Great kitchen / dining room and super living room. The walls are decorated with paintings. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. There's a beautiful conference centre/ restaurant, too. Awesome destination ideas.

Perfect place to stay if you are on your way to Oslo! The owner is lovely and the rooms are brand new. Everything you need is in there. Great value for the price!
