ONE OF THE BEST SPUR'S I'VE BEEN TO. My partner and I went out on a busy Friday night for dinner. Food was great. Service overall was nothing I'd ever experienced at any other establishment. I've counted 5 members of staff check up on us in the span of 30-45 mins. I was quite impressed. You can really tell, management is on top of things. The only down side was that our personal waiter wasn't as attentive to us throughout the whole night, given it was a packed house. So I do understand. Overall, a great first time experience. Will definitely be going back.

Had lunch at Indigo Spur in Waterstone Mall in Somerset West yesterday, as usual I always request food to my liking, and usually I get what I want. Waitress Yolanda gave me exactly what I wanted, a hot, good quality burger. It's always nice to still get places that will go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. Wil be back again

Popped into spur for a quick lunch.Irene,the waitron, was a star,bringing me a glass of ice cold durbanville hills sav.blanc chose the rump from the seniors menu - served with onion rings and chips. My medium to rare steak was perfectly grilled.Dessert was icecteam and choc sauce.Irene is a friendly experienced waitron enquiring if all was good.Larry,manager, is a star too...also engaged with his patrons. Will b back.

I had the most enchanting experience at this restaurant during my first visit. From the moment I stepped in, the cozy ambiance wrapped me in warmth. Manager went beyond duty when they ran out of eisbeins. Thanks guys, even got a free pork chop for the shortage. Never before has a Manager done this. Kudos ouens

We been going here for some time now. And can't help but notice that portions of the food getting smaller and prices going up. I would understand for prices going up, but the burger patties for example are no longer as big as they use to.. Even the nachos single portion, the price is now of what the full price was and you can even see the plate of the single portion had reduced to a smaller size. Me and partner were able to enjoy a single portion together.

We just had their Christmas buffet...it wasn't bad.. however...they had one small serving station..with such a full restaurant I would have set up two stations as guests were standing in que's for ages to dish up..the veggies were ice cold... And the potatoes were just boiled with no butter spice or herbs...I love spur but for the almost R400 pp it was disappointing. The malva which you had to pay extra for was dry then they added normal golden syrup which was not ideal.

We walked out of the store after 5 mins, the glasses where very dirty. So dirty that there was a layer of oil on top of my daughters cold drink. Ordered a decaf cappucino got something infused with espresso instead. I felt very bad for the waiter because he really tried to handle the situation, but unfortunately we could not take a chance.
