I had a delicious Sunday lunch at the Glenside pub. The beef was tender and the portion was generous. The bar was cool on such a hot day and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I was driving so I couldn’t have a pint but how to return.

Amazing Irish Breakfast for a weekend! Great simple breakfast menu, good coffee and great staff. If you're looking for a good breakfast place in Dublin, this is the place.

Highly recommend the Chicken Supreme & mash. The food is freshly cooked on order. The flavour and taste of this dish is excellent! I have eaten here a couple of times with my family and have always eaten delicious dishes. The staff are very attentive and so efficient, ensuring your have a nice experience and meal. The service is excellent! Thank you to all the staff at the Glenside!

This is the original "Traditional Irish pub" Memorabilia on the walls Bottles on the shelf and a winning smile on every member of staff. After visiting the glenside on a busy father's day I have to say I was very impressed. Service and food was exceptional. We liked the new lay out of the seating and the outside area. You seem to have catered for everyone. I will say it's the best carvery I've had in a long time. Linda and family

One of the nicest pubs in South Dublin. Serves food until late and has great indoor atmosphere along with a large outdoor area out the back! Parking in both the front and back side of the pub. Live games and music during the week.

Only started going here in last couple of months. I bring my elderly mum who is not very mobile every week for a bite to eat. The food is great and a good menu. Only problem is lunch ends at 3pm and as we don't have big appetites we have to order toasties which are rather pricey at €8.95 for a plain toasted sandwich i.e. cheese and ham. Overall very pleased with atmosphere, staff and food if you are really hungry. I would highly recommend their beefburger 100% - best one I've had in years - so tasty 😋

Had a really great breakfast here. Good menu options, excellent value and staff very pleasant. Nice setting too - a very relaxing start to the day.

Some of the best pup food you will ever find. Great selection of starters and main courses cooked to order. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff and management. Many excellent dinners I have had here. Do a great Sunday carvery also.

At a confirmation in the function room upstairs. The room is a really good size, dance floor great. Great bar, the finger food was really delicious, the bar staff dead friendly. Went downstairs to get food for my daughter and again lovely staff really good food. Only criticism was the bar had limited beer, but the staff will go downstairs to get you whatever you want. Great evening 😀

Limited menu. Most mains were deep fried, which is disappointing. Vegan and vegetarian options were cold salads. I prefer hot food! Had fish and chips, which was tasty. Gorgeous pub. If they served oven baked pizzas, they'd be on to a winner.

Nice local pub. Went on a Sunday for lunch. Food was good but shame they do not have a proper carvery. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall I would recommend a visit if you are in the area, but then if you are in the area you most likely have been ;-)

DJ’d in the function room for a private function. Nice setup in the room. Dedicated space for DJ and was able to plug into house system. Bar staff very friendly. Would recommend this venue for any party or private event.

Lovely night out with friends. If you're wanting a quiet night beware of the quiz nights!! Noisy but good humoured. The sirloin was cooked to perfection plus a first rate mushroom sauce and really crispy chips and onion rings - the best.

The Glenside is a great Irish pub. Everything is top quality, but the staff set it apart. They are amazing!

Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. They had gf beer though (gf peroni) and a fine selection of whiskies. Great ambience, good service, full and popular enough to create a nice atmosphere without being rammed. Excellent local and would come again when in the area

Finally back open, albeit outdoor only. However, they have made great use of the outside area. The pint was tasty and the food delicious. The supreme of chicken was particularly great, and the burger and Brie got great comments. Staff were run off their feet, but were always very pleasant and accommodating.

I was impressed with the food menu and have eaten there several time since. If you do a swap from salad to veg you do get charged the extra which is a little unfair. I did find the lunch menu quite limited compared to the menu after 3pm. The staff are really lovely

Fantastic Local Pub and Food! Living and growing up in Churchtown this place is the best for a local late night drink and food. Always many screens for the football ⚽️ and sports. Well done Manchester United V Liverpool tonight 2-1 win

We had a lovely lunch in the Glenside yesterday. I had my elderly parents with me and the staff were so kind and accommodating with them. Special thanks to Susan who had reserved a perfect spot for us. Apart from the great staff, the food was delicious. Everything was cooked to order and so fresh. There is plenty of choice on the menu. My parents had the carvery and I had Chicken in mushroom sauce with vegetables and roast potatoes. Very tasty and clean plates all round. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Surprisingly wide choice of "mains" and "starters". Beautifully cooked food, with fast, attentive service from our Mauritian server, name forgotten. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for a date to enjoy or enjoy with your group of buddies... Starters were too good... And on the mains menu we ordered for chicken that was indeed tasty and crisp. Ambience wise it's very warm and quite a big place to hangout...

I had my first pint of Guinness in almost two year in the Glenside last weekend ( see pic for the work-in-progress) I've known this curiosity of a pub since the 1970s & it still feels like a friendly neighbourhood place. I say 'curiosity' because it's a Disney- level architectural illusion.What appears as an 18th century tavern complete with thatched roof is a modern rebuild over the original 1960s rectangular brickhouse block. It was of its time in the 70s, as kitsch as the local houses in its decor but honest in its suburbanity. I can't recall when it began to slide backwards in time but it all started with rusty bicycles and fishing nets hanging from the rafters... Set that aside, because the crowd is good humoured and pleasantly all-aged and it passes my essential pub test... Guinness as good as the best in Dublin.
