Answer your emails, provide the service you are meant to in a timely matter and don’t lie to patients.

I had an MRI on Sunday morning at Affidea Dundrum. The clinic is very well run staff extremely professional and efficient Terry was very helpful. Total transparency I was informed at every stage of the procedure. My scans were forwarded to me within 24hours and my GP had report within 48 hours. Would recommend 👍

Radiology staff were efficient & kind. Gave clear instructions & made me very comfortable. However, after my issues with scheduling and how the front reception treated me, I will go elsewhere for future scans. I also wouldn't recommend this location for LGBTQ patients, as front desk staff are clearly not educated on how to respectfully treat this demographic.

No option for 0 stars, referral submitted and hears nothing for over a month. When I called I was told there was a wait time of 9 weeks...booked app and arrived to be told that because of a query on the form I submitted 2 days previous that they had to reschedule for a months time. Arrived this morning to be told that no such appointment was made and that the next available slot is Sept. Nearly 5mths waiting for an MRI scan. Was given my appointment on a post it the same as last month...no care/apology or consideration given. Hopefully I'll get an app else where before having to attend.

Very disappointed with the service I am receiving from afidia. Yes did get in to have my scan in reasonable time , unfortunately 13 days and at least 10 phones calls later I have not received any results back , while being left in daily pain. I am currently on hold currently for 22 minutes being told all operators are busy. My advice go elsewhere public service would be better.

What a strange first experience of this facility. I was there for an appointment with Hidden Hearing who have many options around Dublin. I opted for Rockfield Medical . I cannot fault the lovely Audiology guy enough. He was great 👍 But if you are going here for this,it is a bizarre clinic type setting. Parking is at the Luas Park and Ride (not easy to navigate). When you manage to get to 'reception', both ladies there were not at all friendly. I felt like I was on a conveyor belt. While waiting, I heard several older people being 'barked' questions about 'recent falls, capacity for standing etc' in full hearing of the entire waiting room. The tone of one receptionist was awful 😞 Several people spoken to in a boring monotone dismissive voice. Thankfully the person who did my appointment was lovely and I can't fault my Hidden Hearing experience but I would be very reluctant to use Rockfield Medical centre in general again. It was such a weird environment, for a mixed bag of clients 👎

Dreadful experience had mri was told 10 days for results rang after 10 day on hold for over 20 mins then very rude receptionist said it 15 WORKING days for results. There this morning 830am for ct scan ,to be told scanner wasn't working and waiting on technician. At 10am I asked receptionist for phone number as I wanted to get a coffee reply was phone number that keeps you on hold while I was waiting noticed phone never rings yet three receptionists had time to have a 25 minute chat with colleague. They talked so much lady in office behind got up to close her door. One star for Emma who was lovely. Maybe Affidea should get rid of so many receptionist s and get more people to read results and get results to patients quicker.

Avoid for MRI i will not be using this clinic again. The staff on site are helpful & friendly but the MRI report takes over a week to be prepared and sent to the doctor. I was stuck between Affidea and the doctor as the doctor maintained they had not received the report. I called Affidea to be sent the report directly via email and this is not possible even though they issue confirmation emails of your appointment to the email address. Affidea do not upload the report to the patient portal for 3 and a half weeks while the patient is stuck in the middle.

The booking agent, Celine, was very pleasant and helpful on the phone and the 2 medics were thorough, whilst taking time to explain the procedure. However, the 2 reception staff were rude and unpleasant. It was clear by their manner that my appointment was an inconvenience to them. There are signs on every door and wall asking to wear a face mask, yet no-one was adhering to this. I called Affidea 2 days after my appointment asking for the practitioner name to be added onto the receipt, for my insurance. I have still not received the updated receipt. The email address at the bottom of the receipt is incorrect , as any emails to the address were undeliverable and also the phone number is either a fax number or incorrect altogether.

Really impressed, was sent for a Ultrasound by my GP, who then sent me for a MRI in the meantime. On the day of the Ultrasound I just mentioned the MRI to the receptionist, who then managed to get my referral up and managed to book my MRI for after my ultrasound which was amazing. I didn’t manage to get her name but she was incredibly nice for doing that, all the radiology staff were amazing too. Thanks, can’t understand the 1 star ratings at all

Very well ran clinic with great service and friendly staff. I felt safe and secure especially in these uncertain times. Everything was in place with sanitiser and staff wiping down areas after people.

Injured my knee playing football and was referred by my GP to Affidea. Exceptional service from start to finish. One of the most efficient businesses I have ever dealt with. Got a prompt appointment, no waiting around when in the clinic and had the scans online within hours!

Excellent service. Friendly and efficient staff. In and out for an MRI on my knee in under 30 minutes. All "paperwork" completed on the app prior to appointment, so no delay filling forms on the day. Image of scan on the app in less than 24 hours. The way things should be done.

Heard nothing back after sending referral letter seeking a scan. Rang and I was told it takes about 2 weeks so I'll hear in the next few days. After a further month, I rang again and under pressure was given an appt date. The form they sent ahead of of the scan doesn't show probably on a phone so I can't complete it. When I rang I get into a loop none of which answer my query... about booking a scan.

Very bad experience, arrived slightly late for my appointment and was told nothing we can do you should have left early. I received a rude and uncaring response and then the nurse simply walked way. I took the day off work and travelled a substanial distance and left dumbfounded with no appointment or remedy .

I would just like to thank the staff in Affidea Dundrum for the upmost care they've shown my mam, she had a CT scan done yesterday as she recieved a very frightening call from tallaght hospital and was clearly very shook up, the staff made sure the scan was sent straight to mams gp who text her the message we have all been waiting on tonight, EVERYTHING IS FINE. I can't thank you guys enough for the speed and efficiency. I have a very happy relieved mam beside me. I will absolutely recommend this clinic.

Dr referred me for an X-ray and I got a text to register nearly a month ago. I’ve registered twice and no call. I also rang and waiting 20 mins and no one answered. I then emailed customer support and no reply. Terrible service!

Couldn’t recommend this clinic enough. I required two MRI’s and they happily booked me in within a week, one immediately after the other. The scans were as punctual as can be and the staff were extremely helpful. The images were available within a few hours on the patient portal and my GP received the report 48 hours later. Well worth the 5 stars.

Very clean, modern and professional. Having the app to see your own scans is great. Noisy when talking to reception and can be hard to hear, especially with the screen protector.

Unfortunately, a one star review for Affidea Dundrum. Was due to have an MRI with contrast, but on the day, the doctor rang in sick, so they couldn't do the contrast, and only did a pre scan.. They promised me faithfully that they would rebook as soon as possible, that they could contact me the next day, but I heard nothing from them. It was time critical, as other appointments were relying on the scan results and were pushed back awaiting the scan. Waited a few days, rang their 0818 number, spoke to their representative, she promised me faithfully that she would pass on my message and get someone from Dundurn to ring back and rearrange the appointment, still nothing from them in the week since the first appointment. Still, I see that they have billed for the scan without delay. Hugely disappointing. Maybe I'm old school, but I don't see why if someone says they will do something, that they don't just do it.

Would give zero stars if possible but unfortunately not. GP sent referal and after 3 weeks waiting for an appointment for a scan and hearing nothing, I ring and am told there are no slots available for another month. Was further told that I should have rung myself at the outset in order to look for an appointment??? This despite receiving no notification to do this. Avoid!!

170 euro for an ultrasound it is what it is, I understand. What I don't understand is that I wasn't told I had to be twenty minutes early over the phone, never mind that's ok. However it has been over three weeks and I have not got my results. My GP rings me confused so I ring up Affidea to see what's going on. The woman over the phone does not care one bit and says for me to ring back tomorrow to see if the results are ready. She then rings me back asking for the GP's email, isn't that her job to find? They have my GP and the centre's details. I give her the phone number which is all I have and she says "it would be better if you could go and find the email." The scan is minimum two weeks late on top of the week waiting time; nobody knows where it is and I already took time off work to come and pay almost 200 euro to check if I have cancer! I'm tolerant and understand things but when serious subjects are dealt with in such a nonchalant way, then you have to start questioning things.

Having attended Affidea Tallaght two years ago for my son where he received superb service and treatment I didn't hesitate to book again for a scan for myself. Again they didn't disappoint. The referral was dealt with swiftly, I had an appointment within 48 hours. When I went to the clinic the staff were so helpful, the clinic itself was spotless. The scans was so straightforward thanks to both the Doctor and the nurse conducting them. I got my results emailed to my own GP the following morning. Overall, a superb clinic offering swift and effective services. Thanks to you all!

I am very disappointed with this clinic in Dundrum. I had a referral from my GP for a Pelvic Ultrasound at Affidea. They called me and said that Medical card doesn’t work in their Clinic and that they don’t have any vacant dates soon and so on…. But the funny thing is when I was advised to pay for the scan the vacant places WERE EVEN NEXT DAY… OK, I paid 180 euros and had the opportunity to choose the day now by myself. But the most terrible thing was ahead- Ultrasound…. the staff who did it was unprofessional, rough and without any senses….when I said that I felt pain while scanning they even didn’t listen to me… So after that scan, I felt very bad, got severe abdominal pain with bleeding… and I had to call emergency. At the emergency department, I was examined, and the result of the examination showed that I got trauma caused by scanning ( Very unprofessional staff, hurt people and bring mental stress… I wouldn’t recommend this clinic.

Very professional, friendly service. Spotlessly clean environment. My 3rd scan in 9 months with Affidea and each has been a very positive experience.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I wouldn’t go back there again! The appointment took ages after my gp referral was sent, I was there 15 mins before my appointment, but since there are only 3 parking places for their patients, which naturally were taken, I parked in front of the building and went to inform the receptionist that I’ll go park in the Luas parking and will be straight back. When I was back ( it took about 15mins to drive there and get back) they told me that since I was now late, my appointment has been given away and I had to wait for when the scan is again available, I waited … till after 20 mins I was told that I can be seen in two and a half hours the earliest, since they’ve started some long scan procedure. When I questioned the manager about me being there way ahead of the appointment time and why there were no clear instructions given to patients about the parking situation, they said that the info was available on their website and I should’ve checked it. Overall very disappointing of how turnover focused they are as opposed to the positive patients experience.

The staff (front desk and nurses/doctors) were exceptional. It was my first time getting an MRI and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had an MRI carried out recently at Affidea in Dundrum. From beginning to end, I was treated with respect, kindness and total respect. At all times, I was informed of the procedure and assisted when I needed help. I felt safe, in a vulnerable situation with a shoulder injury. I would highly recommend Affidea !

A S!!t show.... trying to get in touch with them after a scan is impossible. The email address on the invoice is wrong. The phone number on the invoice is wrong - you get through to a fax... There is no response to emails. I've sent 2 emails now requesting scans be uploaded to my account and have received no response. I've just made a complaint on their website and who knows if I'll hear back from them.

Went down today for an MRI. I was so nervous going in and at the beginning of the procedure, but the nurse taking care of me was so incredibly lovely and very kind. She really reassured me everything would be okay. I wish I got her name but iv no doubt all the staff are equally as kind, the receptionist on arrival was lovely and welcoming and the technician in the room was lovely. The nurse made such a difference and I'm very grateful for her patience and high level of care. Highly recommended this faculty for their patient care.

Affidea Diagnostics is in total disarray when it comes to communication. The company must do something to make it possible for clients/patients to talk to a human voice. This is just one of the problems I encountered trying to get a CT scan. All in all I would not risk going to them for a CT scan. I have cancelled my appointment.
