This place is better than excellent!!! Some aren't as into the diversity of the talent, sorry guys. But you get talent that isn't cookie cutter.

A venue that deeply abuses the goodwill of its clientele because it caters to folks without a lot of options. Charges a cover that vastly over values its amenities. Charges an auto gratuity which makes me wonder about the wages staff receive (this is speculation). And there's no fans and no evidence of a restroom (as in, if there's a restroom they've hidden it very well). It's mostly a venue for events, not a bar that's regularly open, so if you like the events you should go. But for me, I won't be going back.

Fantastic little, neighborhood place! Good drinks, delicious food, chill vibe, and amazing music, make this place one of my fave’s.

Again a really great time at this little gem of a place just around the corner of our hotel butterfly beach. Great music from local reggae band and being on a Friday easy to book a table which a close view of the entertainment . Prefer this to oistins ever time as you can sit comfortably and relax with fantastic music and great service without the hastle of finding a table. Thanks again to the team at sage bar for a enjoyable night again. Highly recommended.

Visited here three times during our stay in Barbados. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere especially on the Saturday when the place was packed. Even on the quiet nights the music and relaxing atmosphere was special. Love the layout with the garden area. If you want a chilled out evening this is the place. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful

The sage cocktail in our opinion was the best. It has a good balance between acid and kind of bitter. Very very nice music, today they were just as rehearsal but was super cool!

So nice that I went there twice! This is pretty much the only dedicated live music space on the island, and each night there’s something new. I loved the outdoor ambiance, the delightful cocktails but most of all, the attention to the music and the sound. Definitely a place to spend time if you’re a music lover.

David and Noelle were incredibly welcoming and the space was really cool. Great shrimp tacos too. We heard some of David’s brilliant music over the speakers but will have to head back to see him live another evening.

Great place. 10 bbd cover charge but always live music. Free entry if owner David Kirton playing and he is worth seeing 😊. Nice cocktails, some nice light meals/snacks although a vegan option would be nice. Open Thursday through to Sunday.

We’ve gone here almost every night we’ve been in Barbados so far. This little bistro is full of positive energy. The place is family owned and it shows in the best way possible. The bartenders put lots of care into their drinks. The live music performed by the owner (and his son) is very relaxing and lovely. The food is delicious. We recommend the shrimp and guacamole for small bites. The owner/singer’s wife is so friendly and hospitable. Last night we decided to look around inside and I was almost in tears with how lovely they’ve decorated this space—pictures of the father in his younger days playing around the world, pictures of the family throughout the years, gorgeous paintings and colors everywhere. I was almost hesitant to share this review, because this spot is so chill and not super crowded (from what we’ve seen) but we just love it so much!

Loved the homey feeling. It's in the backyard of David Kirton's house. He is Barbadian's recording artist's. You are greeted by David and Noelle, his wife. Can drink or/and eat as you watch music performance, who interacts with the audience. Very intimate, very welcoming, very boho.

I had a great time. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. My food order was changed multiple times due to items not being available which was sad as I typically ask what isn't there to reduce disappointment but the food was good. Google states that the venue is wheelchair accessible unfortunately it is not as the path is obstructed and to get and use the restroom you have to go up approx 5 steps to go inside.
