Like every Wednesday I look for something interesting to fill my fabulous life. This time, I Invite a friend to enjoy a spectacular orchid exhibit. We headed to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, 11 French Dr, Boylston, MA. I must clarify, that for this we prepare by buying the tickets in advance online. The staff was very friendly, and the place was packed with visitors of all ages. The garden had some awesome flowers and plants. This exhibit was indoors, and it was a nice break from having to be outside in the cold, but anyways I enjoyed the rain mixed with snow while I was appreciating the water fountain in the Pool Bundles sculpture in Domitian’s Pool... The dining area staff also were very welcoming servicing specialty, healthy foods to order. This is a wonderfully peaceful and clean place to visit. And I can't wait to return for a new adventure in full contact with nature. I recommend it.

A horticulture center minutes from Worcester Massachusetts. There are nice hiking trails that are stroller friendly. Excellent place if you have young kids or are into learning more about horticulture. The views of the area are great. The restrooms are modern and clean. There is a Cafe on site if you want a quick bite to eat. The downside to this place is compared to the Audubon Society it is pricey. You can go to Society properties for what you pay for membership to to see the Gardens. So if you want value for hiking places then the Bontanical Gardens is not it.

We explored the new gardens at Tower Hill and they are exceptional. Very nice design. The gardens looked great too during our early spring visit. This place is a true treasure. We bought a family membership so we can visit again and again this summer. I highly recommend you do the same and support this great non profit organization.

This is an amazing place! The trails are well maintained and easy to walk. The indoor exhibits are gorgeous and many of the sculptural installations are a fun addition when you are outside. Very excited to come back and spend more time here in the summer!

Went on a mother/day outing. Daffodils and Tulips were in full glory as well as some early flowering bushes and trees. Lovely day to remember.

Our parents were active volunteers for years. The place has expanded it's outdoor gardens and pavilions a lot since our last visit. The new expansion and walking paths are an outstanding addition. Everything is wheelchair accessable and the paths are easy to navigate for all ages. We had an excellent visit.

I went to the orchid exhibit and it had some really awesome flowers and plants. This exhibit was indoors and it was a nice break from having to be outside in the cold. The staff are welcoming and there is a dining area with specialty, healthy foods to order. This is a wonderfully peaceful and clean place. Admission to this was about $17.

Gorgeous venue for any special occasion or just to explore during free time. We had an event here and the staff was more than accommodating and welcoming to everything that we needed. Highly recommend checking this place out for the vast collection of plants and to enjoy the scenic and relaxing atmosphere.

I could go on and on about Tower Hill Botanic Garden. I’m obsessed. We’re members outside of weddings, and our boys have grown up going here. Just 45 minutes west of Boston, perfect for weddings and parties (oh, also the events team is top-notch), or just escaping life’s busyness. They also have wine nights on Thursdays in the summer. It’s paradise. Seriously. You should go. Highly recommend a wedding ceremony in the Secret Garden. THBG is a must see!

3 star for lights 5 star for Tower hill in general Attended lights at the Tower this December not what I expected. Only lights area are at the main entrance garden layout and the area where the big fountain is located in the back. Not much of a Christmas setting. You can quickly walk through lights 30 min max. However you can make it fun for kids and make the best out of it. They had a fire place to makes s’mores. There is hot & alcoholic drinks as well as snacks avail for sale. Restrooms were clean and they even have a lactation room for moms. I love this place in the spring and summer beautiful grounds. Staff was nice and very well prepared to attend your needs.

We didn't have enough time to explore the whole place, but what we did we loved. I took my best friend there for her birthday. Absolutely beautiful and is rated the best in the country!

Great space year round for kids and adults. They have nice special events for separate tickets. Winter Lights almost always sells out. They have a drink bar with wine, craft beer, and coffee/hot chocolate.

A beautiful place to visit any time of year! We saw a great exhibit of painted gnomes throughout the gardens. There are two indoor plant areas as well. If you have a Connector Care insurance plan, then you can get discounted tickets. Fascinating plants and beautiful statues throughout the many outdoor gardens.

If you’re looking for something to do for all ages; low key; out doors and beautiful nature all around, this is your place. I recommend going online and seeing if they’re having any special events that require a reservation, especially for the kiddos. It fills quickly. You can purchase tickets online or at the gardens; $19. I recommend purchasing the annual membership if you live here. I was amazed with the beauty of the grounds; their layout and how they displayed the different zones for gardening. I attached some pictures. I hope you enjoy. Oh, the mystical creatures are their Myths, Magic and Monsters display for the kids… big kids too. Have a wonderful boo time 🎃🧙🏻‍♀️

Such a beautiful place to visit! So much to see and do, and the price was very reasonable. $38 for myself and my daughter and we could have spent longer if we didn't get there so late. Besides the beautiful flowers and plants from all over the world, they also had exhibits displaying beautiful arrangements made by many artists. There were trails to explore with so many cool things to see. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves nature, flowers, gardening, etc. I will definitely go back again in the spring. Well worth the trip!

One of the most impressively laid out and immersive garden experiences of my life! Blown away at the attention to details, extremely wide variety of native and exotic flora and fauna, wildlife preservation, activities and events for all ages, and fun classes to engage the public. I instantly became a member after my first visit. There is something for everyone all seasons of the year. I'd give it more stars if I could!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this exquisite garden, a sanctuary that offers a year-round retreat into nature's beauty. The current highlight was an awe-inspiring Ikebana show, which effortlessly blended artistic expression and natural elements into an unforgettable experience. Moreover, the gift shop served as an additional source of inspiration, featuring a diverse array of thoughtfully curated items that echo the garden's ethos. The sprawling grounds are expansive, making it an ideal location for family outings. In anticipation of future visits, I am particularly excited about the upcoming night light show, which promises to be a spectacle that further elevates the natural beauty of the garden. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this garden for anyone looking to immerse themselves in an enriching and tranquil environment.

We always love to come here when we are visiting family in Massachusetts. We are able to get in without a fee since we have a reciprocal membership from the Charlotte, NC botanical garden. I noticed they have changed things around a bit with regards to entering the garden. They definitely feed you up to the entrance doors so that you are sure to get your ticket. They have eliminated several other accesses into the outer gardens. We went on a Tuesday and the place was packed!!! It was AARP day.....AARP member can get in free as well as up to 5 guests beginning Sept. 5. Well...it worked...like flies on....well you get the idea! The newly added family area just beyond the boardwalk is very nice and there are bathrooms up that way too now. A lot of changes since I was here last year. See you next year!

*I knocked down one star due to how pricey it is for admission* Very cute little spot to spend an afternoon. Plenty of trails you can wander through, small plaques letting you know what it is you're looking at. I had a great time around the exterior of the building checking out all of their plants. Huge pothos and monsteras just doing their thing and being gorgeous. It wasn't until we were headed out that I saw you could bring dogs on the grounds. Leashed of course.

A magical experience with the Northern Lights exhibit and eating s'mores by the fire 🔥 The best Lights exhibit I've attended in Massachusetts! The grounds are beautiful and there's plenty free parking, cordial customer service and amazing décor! The gardens weren't all open so I'm definitely going back to check everything in daylight, pretty soon!

Very beautiful! Lots of butterflies and caterpillars to see. The garden was very peaceful and nice clear walk paths. The flower wall was very well put together. It's about three hours to see everything including a lunch break.

Very Beautiful. Its a must see and the staff explains everything very well, they are very knowledgeable and helpful. The cafe inside the building has many good options and great prices. I really enjoyed it. The only thing I missed was some informational brochure or pamphlet with the botanical wonders they have inside, this could add additional/ helpful/ interesting information to the visit. Here are some pictures, everyone.

Beautiful and well maintained. We saw quite a few plants we were unfamiliar with. Perfect place to pack a picnic. Amazing views! We will be returning.

Beautiful place but unfortunately the day I went it was so oppressively muggy we didn’t stay long. Would definitely go back on a cooler day

Wonderful place to go for a walk with the family and enjoy all the beautiful flowers and decorations or even for taking pictures. There is so much to explore.

Great gardens to walk around and spend a few hours. There are many events throughout the year and becoming a member is great if you plan to visit any gardens that participate in the reciprocal program.

First time visitor on an absolutely gorgeous spring day in early May, with crab apple trees and countless varieties of tulips in bloom. In addition to the glorious planted offerings, we enjoyed the walking paths through a forested area, and the two large indoor greenhouses, the Orangerie and Limonaia. These had tropical plants and I will enjoy visiting here again in the wintertime to get indoor garden inspiration while the outdoors is covered in snow. I enjoyed my visit and bought a membership, to come back as the seasons change. There’s a very nice gift shop and a restaurant, although I didn’t get to try it this time, because it was very busy at Sunday lunchtime and there was a wait.

Attended the Fairies Aglow Event and it was absolutely incredible! Definitely an event for all ages. The gardens are absolutely stunning as are the views. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We'll definitely be attending other events there

James at front desk took my call and assisted me with ticket purchases as well as check in. He was courteous and knowledgeable. All the staff throughout had wonderful smiles and helpful natures. The exhibit was so beautiful, such beautiful fairy houses and pieces throughout. The plant room was so glorious I didn’t want to leave. The activities were great for the kids.
