This place is so well done in all the aspects: the staff is friendly & knowledgeable, waiting room is modern and clean & the patient exam rooms are clean as well. They close sooner than you think so be sure to plan ahead. We have always had a great experience here. We will be bringing our sweet Mimi here as long as she needs!

I think this is an excellent place to take your kitties for WellCare visits or if they are sick. I have been going here for a little over a year and I'm very happy with the care we receive. The Doctor is excellent and he is very patient when he explains what's going on. We had a cat with kidney disease and a heart murmur that we adopted from the local animal shelter and we did not know he had these conditions when we took him home. We were able to get the answers to our questions and understand why he was struggling so much after talking to Dr Salber. This helped so much with our ability to take care of him. I have another cat that I take there as well and again I know he is in incapable hands. Don't hesitate to go here is a great place to take your cats and I highly recommend it.

The staff is very friendly and the doctor will call you personally to discuss your pets health, labs, and gladly answer any questions. The care they have provided my cats is outstanding!! This veterinary practice is unparalleled. They are always punctual, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Every appointment I have had has been on time and met with a smile. Brittany is always professional and personable when booking appointments and taking notes for the visit Dr. Salber is simply amazing. He explains things thoroughly and helps navigate options while providing the absolute best care for my cat. He is easy to reach via email or phone and is always happy to answer my myriad questions. They have taken COVID precautions seriously, which I greatly appreciate. While I can't go in for the visit, they are very transparent about their process and call you right away during the checkup while you wait in your car. Bonus: this is a cat only practice, so my cat always feels more at ease here since there are no dogs.

I have 4 cats that I take to Dr. Salber. I really like the location and ease of scheduling. I also appreciate that I am seen promptly and the vet techs and Doc are very communicative. The cost is reasonable and when I have needed surgeries, Dr Salber has discussed my options at length. I don’t feel pressured to purchase any extra services or products. Also Brittany at the front desk is amazing. She is very attentive, calm, and empathetic. She is also communicative which is greatly appreciated.

The Fancy Paws staff are amazing! They were very thorough in examining my kitties and had lots of fantastic advice to keep them healthy. I never felt rushed like other vet hospitals. Dr. Salber and Kayla were SO FRIENDLY! And they totally understand cat people. By the time the appointment was over, I wanted to pay rent and live there! The following day, I received follow-ups on the health of my cats. I felt like I was being texted by the most warm-hearted and caring friends that I never knew I had. Everything was just awesome! I give Fancy Paws 5 STARS and STRONGLY recommend their services!

I moved to Virginia in 2014 and brought my cat to Fancy Paws on a friend's recommendation. My cat had been to several vets in our previous state, and she hated every single one of them; she would growl, hiss, bite, and claw until she drew blood from every person around. But everything changed at Fancy Paws! She still made plenty of noise, but between the pheromone diffusers and the incredible staff, she never once bit or clawed in the six years I took her there. I was always so impressed with the staff's professionalism, from the employees at the desk to the vet assistants to Dr. Salber himself. It's pretty incredible to find a vet that you trust and clearly cares about the animals they treat! A few months ago, my cat's health declined dramatically and rapidly. The team at Fancy Paws was the absolute best in running the necessary tests, explaining results and options (and being willing to re-explain with no hesitation or annoyance at times when my emotions didn't allow me to process what was being said), and guiding me to making the right choice for my sweet girl. And when the time came, their compassion was incomparable. I cannot recommend Fancy Paws highly enough. If I ever decide to welcome another cat into my heart and home, I will absolutely be returning. I've been with Fancy Paws for a year or so now and I just love it. I know my cats are in good hands, even if I can't be in the room, and every staff member takes their time to give you the information and attention that you and your cat need. Whether in person or on the phone. My favorite feature of this office is that I can email them any photos or responses if I'm unable to call or it's after hours. Most recently my 2 cats played too hard and one got an open wound. I was able to take him by and have them give him a quick look, to see if any medical attention was needed. They made time for him and didn't charge me for the visit which I really, really appreciated. Bring your kitties here, if you can!

Excellent service, extremely satisfied with their care and work. Their care for my cat far exceeded my high expectations. It's very evident that this clinic cares and values their business. I can’t say enough about everyone and their kindness and professionalism. I absolutely love all staffs and appreciate their great work. Overall It has been such pleasure to be one of their customers. I have been coming to this clinic for about 3 years now and they are truly the best!!! I have gone from an owner of 2 cats to 4 while I've been their client and they have been amazingly helpful with everything! Whether it's squeezing in one of my cats for a sick appt or giving advice via email this place is on top of it! They genuinely care about all of their patients and have bent over backwards to accommodate me and my cats. Not to mention they have always been very affordable and up front with their prices. They clearly go over your options and how much everything will/would cost. And I've never felt pressured to pay for more than what's necessary. In fact, they are quite understanding about your personal budget and will answer questions about what is/isn't necessary and why! I moved over an hour away a while ago, and I have continued to make the semiannual (2 cats at a time) trip to them just because of how amazing they are. Every single person on staff from the front desk to the doctors truly care about what they do, and I am so grateful for them!

Very professional and super friendly staff obviously love what they do makes both pets and families feel very comfortable. Take plenty of time with you to explain anything that needs explaining we’ve been going to this practice for 20+ years.

Great experience! The calm atmosphere makes it comfortable for both pet and human. The nurses and doctors are very nice and calming when dealing with any situation. There is no pressure to spend your money, unlike some vets that just want that and not the relationships that will last longer. They text me after my kittens appointment asking how he was and that alone was worth it.

This place is truly a blessing! Dr Rudy Salber is the best vet in town.We adopted a very sick cat from a shelter 2 yrs ago and we were taking him to an animal hospital in Lansdowne. The vet there almost killed him with wrong diagnosis and unnecessary medications. We thought we were losing him.I am so glad we found this place. Dr Salber knows exactly what to do and a true animal lover. Our cat is alive because of him. This place is always on time, very clean, extremely professional, and super loving! You can be sure you're in good hands.

I haven't been impressed with veterinary care that my previous and current cats received in a long time. From the moment I reached out to Fancy Paws, however, they were friendly, professional, and they listened to my concerns. I love that it's a feline-only care center, and I've already shared my experience with other cat owners. The treatment facility is very clean, and the whole exam process was excellent! Everyone woking there is so nice; it's a pleasure to visit. Count me in --- I'm a huge fan!
