I would be cautious as a newcomer to their facilitation of detoxing programs. My concerns are not about the efficacy of the products which appear to be of the upmost quality and ethical in nature. My experience is with their 15 day Pippali detox kit/programme. As a newcomer to Ayurveda, I depend upon the guidance of the practitioner when using their detox kit. On this occasion guidance is imparted via a WhatsApp group with an instruction sheet uploaded daily and further input from the practitioner. However, each day’s instruction sheet is made available so late in the day/evening that it’s quite difficult to make preparations for the following days routine. This in itself makes completing a detox very challenging when we have home life, families and a job. Input from the practitioner who monitors the attendees daily questions/feedback is at times not forthcoming which leads to confusion and doubt in the process. I do not question the good intention and integrity of this service. However, attention to detail is lacking when the attendees comments are overlooked or may not be recognised as significant to an attendee. What may appear to be a trivial matter in the eyes of an experienced practitioner may be quite different in the eyes of an inexperienced detoxing attendee. It’s quite natural that attendees may seek feedback during a facilitated process and it’s reasonable to expect this be provided. However, I cannot tolerate inconsistent and conflicting input when my body is reacting to the detox and needs some timely intervention. I’m left in the isolated position of not knowing what adjustments to make let alone commit to the remaining 10 days of the detox program. If I cannot rely on the support during their detox program then the process is quite likely to fail just like mine did. I stopped the 15 day Pippali detox around day 5 due to confusion and a lack of confidence in the process. As far as I’m aware Ayurveda Pura Health Spa didn’t reach out to me afterwards. Edit - 5 January 2023 and I never received any feedback from this review either 🥴 Edit - 14 August 2023 received a response to this review on 2 May 2023 telling me they will be reaching out to me via email. To date I haven’t received any email correspondence from them regarding this. I emailed the corporate office on 10 August regarding this query and I haven’t heard back from them either. Oh dear me 🤦🏻‍♂️ I now reduce the rating to 1 star.

Bizzarrreee...The business that does not want any business..I visited the web site to make spa booking. It took me to an external booking site that asked me to create account and then enter credit card details. I attempted the latter twice but both time was telling me that some field was blank when nothing was blank...Not a big deal I thought and just decided to call them. I rang the phone and the receptionist picked up. I explained the issue and she just proclaimed that unfortunately they cannot take bookings over the phone. They have this new web site that they have been told is super easy to use...Ok..but it does not work for me....Then she said that she could just get the manager of the web site to give me a call. I told her that this is not the best for a spa experience booking. Then she proceeded to check if there was availability for my desired date, which I culd see from the web site anyway. She also told me that the provider for this treatment is on holiday but maybe she could give me her phone number to give her a call! I guess I had to give my credit card over the phoen to someone who would have supposedly been the spa practicioner. I said that I feel uncomfortable calling someone who I did not know and while they were away. Then I was told that she woul dneed business when she comes back so she should pick up. I then said that I do nto want to call some mobile number of someone I did not know. The the receptionist asked me'so...what do you want me to do?!' I asked if she could give her a call to make the booking. She then proclaimed sternly that 'no, she was noyt going to do this!' as they did not do that...it was even hard to hang up...I hardly managed to say that I understood and put the phone down. I have never spoken to a reception that takes no bookings and is offering to put me in touch with THEIR web site booking provider and call some random, supposedly the therapist's phone. What a strange experience....Needless to say, I shall nto be attempting again!

Nice procedures, but not a great customer service. I feel deceived as the the spa package on the website said it covered a mini consultation, plus I was told when buying the procedure that it would be arranged. As a matter of fact, they did not provide the mini consultation, saying that there was a mistake on the website. If I were them, I would honor the customer's legitimate request as it was their mistake, not mine.

Zero communication with customers…. I’ve been trying to call the Spa for over a week now, nobody every answers the phone. Left a voicemail message and sent a text to the mobile number mentioned in your voicemail and to this day, nobody bothered to get back to me. I have now booked in another spa.

I had a massage today at Pura Spa and it was absolutely lovely and relaxing. Upon arrival I was greeted and then as soon as the therapist rubbed oil on me I was so relaxed. They played relaxing music and the room was nice and quiet with candles and the oil smelled really nice. I had an hour long full body massage and it was really lovely. I was offered a shower after to rinse off the oil. Lovely customer service and the massage was just what I needed. I will highly recommend Pura Spa to friends & family.

I went there for nails and massage, what was very nice and enjoyed. However, there is huge room for improvement, especially decor, equipment, materials. That's a pity that dodgy looking plastic bowls are used for nails. This items are so cheap, so could be updated. There is no proper chair for pedicure, and the bed is so uncomfortable to stay on for 40 mins or more. Simple things to make service much better.

Had a massage here and it was amazing! Never felt so relaxed and at ease. Usually at these places you feel rushed to get out but I didn't get that at all plus the massage was fantastic - perfect pressure and felt my tension slipping away. Will definitely be back!

I visited this spa many times during my pregnancy and it is fabulous. I had injuries and pain in my lower back and the massage helped me to heal and relax. I highly recommend Annetta in particular - she listened carefully to what was going on and could always tell what needed the most attention. One of the best massage therapists I have come across. Reception is always lovely and warm - plus the café next door is a great perk for a nice cuppa or lunch.
