The worst restaurant I have ever food. My daughter and son were so looking forward to have dinner. We ordered burgers and steak… the burger was dry… salty… had no other appreciable taste… the burger buns were so dry… the fries were totally lifeless.. the steak was dry… rubbery.. felt like it was old cheap meat.. the pepper corn sauce was tasteless and salty.. I would not even allow a dog to eat food in this restaurant… it’s a scam.. Only reason I came out having a smile was the staff.. they were friendly.. and very polite..

Don’t normally write reviews but we walked in at 11am and told us after we sat down that they had no eggs when we went for breakfast/brunch and over half the menu items have eggs so didn’t leave alot of choice. Some people up and left because of this. Could they not just go and get some more eggs from the shop? Our food came out and extra bacon was forgot about and had to remind them, one of our meals did not come out and had to ask. The black pudding was burnt and crunchy like burnt toast. You could not excuse this as there was only 5 tables of people there so it’s not like it was super busy. Would not recommend.

Food defrosted and served. To be honest, they could have defrosted it a little more. We arrived at 1pm. They explained that the all day menu starts at 4pm, even though that’s the menu they have up outside. Somebody explain the meaning of “All Day” to them please. We had to choose from a menu of 7 baguettes/omelettes. Save yourself - go somewhere else.

A lovely « Cafe Rouge » well decorated with tasty meals (not quiet the level of the average French restaurant but this is true of all Cafe Rouge tbh). The service is really friendly and efficient. We had a good time there and really enjoyed it as part of our Centerparcs holiday.

We were greeted warmly by management, and taken to our table. Our waitress was Sienna and from the start she was very polite and helpful. She was happy to serve us and definitely went the extra mile for us. It’s been a while since we’ve received such lovely customer service. She was smiling, friendly and lovely to speak to. Working in customer service myself I know how hard it can be but can safely say Sienna was a breath of fresh air. She is definitely an asset to this restaurant! The food was nice but it was really the service that made our night!

Adequate. Hate leaving poor reviews, so let’s say the service was good, but the food is pretty basic. Only dropped in for the breakfast and everything was fairly low quality. Could’ve been a breakfast from a well known, cheap pub chain - but at twice the cost. Doesn’t surprise me that our local Cafe Rouge closed down over lockdown. Wouldn’t return.

Best restaurant in center Parcs by far now. The other seem to have all gone massively downhill. Rouge has all the favourites, good quality and good service. Only issue is everyone else has worked out this in best place to east so it is very busy.

Lovely place to eat at any time of day, with a real French ambience. Food reasonably priced although, as with all restaurants, bottles of wine may be expensive. Very friendly (English speaking!) staff.

Staffs were friendly and smiley. Food comes relatively quickly considering it’s the busy season. Fries/ sweet potatoes were crunchy, steaks were ok, burger was a bit small, approx. £35-40 pp.

Came for afternoon tea at 3pm. Very quiet which was fine. Waitress was quick to take our order. Unfortunately after being asked for dietary requirements (I'm pregnant) they had no decaf tea available and it took a while for the waitress to say they had decaf coffee. The afternoon tea was a bit rubbish. The toasties that come out instead of sandwiches are good and probably the best bit. . The cake selection was just different sponges (one almond one chocolate and one with candied fruit peel in) and really disappointing for an afternoon tea. You get one scone each. They were a bit burnt but taste OK. You get plenty of cream but hardly any jam. We were not offered any other drinks while eating and the plates were not cleared away even after we had paid.

Our family popped in here for lunch during our stay. It was coming up to nearly am hour's wait from ordering food until the last meal was served. Sadly, it was the children's meals that was surprisingly served last which worsened the situtaion. After having waited 40 minutes for the food initially we enquired into how long it would be until the food would be served and were told 7 minutes. After another 10 minutes we asked the manager who said they were very busy which was quite concerning given the restaurant was about quarter full (see attached photo taken several moments after speaking to the manager. A minor criticism was that we had to ask several times for various condiments and at no point did any staff approach us to check everything was okay with our meals (coincidentally which would have eliminated the condiment issue). When we received the bill they had applied a the full service charge. I did not want to create a fuss about this at the time as there was one member of staff who was absolutely superb. Friendly, attentive and worked really hard making sure that customers were looked after - I even made a note to take his name which was 'Manny.' It did not feel right that all the staff would lose out because of what appeared to be a logistics problem. My son has been in contact with Cafe Rouge to try and come to and resolve the matter as my son made a complaint about the service was made to Center Parcs about Cafe Rouge on my behalf. Unfortunately, the manager attitude was to say that we were told when we arrived that we were told there would be a 45 - 50 minute delay on food service. There were nine of us in our party and can confirm nobody was told this information.

One member of our party’s food arrived cold, had to be sent back. The warm replacement arrived once everyone else had eaten. My steak I ordered medium rare which arrived luke warm and chewy. Prices felt high for what you get. No one in our group enjoyed their food and said it was bland. I had high expectations and was sadly very disappointed

Guy who looked after us was nice. Food was fine save for the steak which was dreadful - first one went back (so overcooked it was beyond the “it’ll do” stage of wanting to eat with everyone) and second one was just terrible quality. Menu was very limited and had a number of things unavailable (8pm Friday) - pretty empty. They sell a terrific alcohol free cider too.

Lovely experience. Staff were super friendly, excellent portion sizes especially for the quality of the food. The mussels were delicious! The staff were super attentive and friendly. The only reason I give a 4 start rating is that the children's macaroni cheese was not good at all, creamy and flavourless. The staff did bring us a massive ramekin of freshly shaved parmesan cheese which transformed the dish. Not the cheapest but who cares, we're on holiday!

I really don't like leaving negative reviews and I don't believe in being negative just to have a rant but I'm hoping this will move things to improve customer service and happier staff. I had the burger and my wife had the steak. The fries were thinner than wafer and the burger no bigger than a mcdonalds quarter pounder. £15.95 for that. Then my wife had the steak for a similar price and it was tiny with absolutely no salad to go with it. Had to pay an extra £2 for any sauce though. Staff seemed very stretched as they seemed to completely forget about us once the food was served. Don't get me wrong if it was in a cheap place I wouldn't have complained but this is Good money we're talking and we've had better customer service at a fast food restaurant. One star for the fact that the beef in the tiny burger was decent quality. We've never asked for the optional service charge to be taken off until coming here. Just woeful. Management - please do better. Thanks

Clean establishment, polite staff, ordered breakfast... enjoyable, filling..!!

First time using Cafe Rouge and we were really impressed. Alice was attentive helpful and kept popping by to make sure everything was going well with our evening. Food was to a very high standard for a chain restaurant and our steaks were both cooked as requested medium rare. They even have a little play corner which kept our toddler amused while waiting for our food which was also served in a timely manner. Out of all the restaurants in Woburn Centre Parcs this is the best tried and tested. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Avoid at all costs if you have allergies. The staff know what they are doing and thankfully are more knowledgeable about the ingredients that are in the dishes than the allergy menu.... Ended up having our entire Christmas meal refunded. Center Parcs need to kick these guys out and replace with a better chain.

Staff did all they could to make the experience really enjoyable. Really well trained when it comes to allergies and great comms on options. Food was delicious, I can't say if this is now the new norm for Cafe Rouge, but this restaurant was a big step up from what I remember years back, well done! Would definitely revisit!

Waited 15 minutes at the door to be seated before having to ask someone. We had booked and the restaurant was 3/4 empty. We asked for a high chair and not only was it filthy it also had live lice crawling over it. Toilets absolutely filthy and had no way been properly cleaned in weeks. All the food is clearly prepared and only heated up on site. The food that came out hadn’t even been properly defrosted so was hot on the outside and still had cold patches in the middle. It also took absolutely ages and two meals were completely forgotten about including my 3 y/o son’s pasta. The only redeeming part was the waitress was very nice and polite. Clearly a fault of management and cafe rouge in general. This places needs to be urgently review by the food hygiene standards department!

Fantastic service with friendly and helpful staff. Menu is trying too hard and the food variety was just to wide to be really good. Basically it was all average. Nothing special and it was pretty expensive. Almost £700 for 16 people. I can't recommend it. There are better restaurants in the resort. C

I enjoyed my meal here. Staff were friendly and the steak was pretty decent. They were very accommodating to my gluten free requests. Overall a pleasant night out.

3 of us ordered lightly dusted calamari to start What arrived was bowls of crunchy batter with little or no calamari whatsoever I honestly couldn't believe what was put up to us and I am not someone who complains All went back and we didn't ask for replacements Then out of 4 of us 3 portions of chips again sent back cold When we arrived the people on an adjoining table already in a stressful condition due to the lack of quality of their food They all had booked fillet steak months ago but the restaurant told them after 30 mins they had none The sirloins they ordered got sent back as so tough I also had a sirloin but I don't mind chewy meat as long as it is tasty so stuck with mine All around definitely the poorest quality I have experienced in any eating establishment never mind a so called high class one
