The staff, Romeo Tad, was very accommodating to us during our dine in. He made sure to give us freshly cooked fish and chips, plus we had free fish for our family! We had a wonderful meal!

The worst chips I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to eat. I will not be returning and wouldn't recommend

4th time buying, probably last. First times decent, last one disappointing, pay extra for cheese - obviously no cheese, pay extra for curry sauce - obviously half a pot why full, pay extra for large portion of chips - obviously a dozen spread around. order not ready on time, the only portion of chips that did have some cheese on was practically not edible, all stuck to the paper under probably sitting for too long. I noticed the lady at the till was a beginner no fault to her but she should be supervised.

Friendly staff, but unfortunately the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The chips were soggy, felt a bit undercooked and not crispy at all (felt like it has sat in the serving container for a while, didn’t seem fresh); it was also not cut properly. The overly battered fish was overcooked (you can see the colour is more towards brown than golden), it was a hard crunch rather than crispy (this was being tasted straight after collection from the shop). The price for its portion is also not worth it, sadly won’t be returning.

We have now had tow bad experiences with these in a row. The latest was that the chips were not cooked enough and were soggy. If you are a fish and chip shop and you can't cook chips properly then you either don't know how to cook chips properly (which for a fish and chip shop should be difficult) or you don't care what you give customers. Either way, fish and chips are now an expensive meal and we will not risk using them again. That said, the person on the counter was very nice and friendly.

Piping hot chips, absolutely delicious. Friendliest service I've had in ages 🥰 some of the negative reviews had put me off (maybe those staff members have moved on)... but it was raining so hard that we stopped here to buy because it was closest... so glad we did! I would say it was slightly expensive but overall, really happy and would buy from here again.

Lisa was welcoming with a smile and friendly throughout my order, assisted me to pick which promotional voucher to use and use again on return. My appreciation for a pleasant service.

Popped in for a takeaway. Friendly staff and the fish was very good-tender and not too much batter. Chips were perfect . Reccomend!

I came in today on my work break, and was greeted by the lovely man (with his hair tied back), the food was fresh and the chips were crispy. The two men who were in at around 1:30pm were so interested in involving themselves in a conversation with me it was nice to know that they value their customers!!! Xx

We ordered a fish & chips (€6.99) for to go. The food was fresh and delicious and it’s got good portion for the price. I’ll definitely come back again. ;)

Had a lovely lunchtime treat today, treated myself to a cod and chips lunch. My food was freshly cooked and tasted out of this world. I was served today by Lisa, what a lovely, friendly, polite and very helpful member of staff. I was more then satisfied with my lunch and the overall service I was given.

Great Fish and Chips at a reasonable price. Especially with their "Free chips with fish" deal. Eve was very helpful on multiple occasions, she was great with our 2 year old and spoke to my in laws in Polish to make it easier for them to order. All around great service, and best of all, it's one of few Fish and Chip shops that are actually open on Sundays

Just spent £40 on dinner for Family. Ordered, took over half hour when we got home. Scampi burnt to the point couldn’t eat. Phoned back, explained and was hung up on. Can’t believe the treatment.

I've had the £6.99 Fish & Chips deal twice this week. The chips are just how I like them, the fish was flavoursome; not sure if it is Cod but it tasted different. It all tasted like seaside Fish & Chips.

Excellent tasting food with brilliant service. Gluten-free options are amazing and tasty. Jack took our order and was very warm and welcoming. Jack was helpful. Mark cooked the fish to perfection and the chips were also cooked to a great high standard. Delicious experience and servce and these boys are an absolute asset to your company.

Best fish and chips we've had for a long time. Perfectly cooked fresh to order by Richard and served by Paris. 10/10 for the food and friendly efficient service. We'll be back!

First time trying food from here today. Very impressed. Tables outside made the experience all the better, eating fish’n chips in the sun.

I had a delivery. Cod, chips, saveloy a curry sauce and 2 cans of pop. It cost me £30! Yet there was barely any chips and what we did have were burnt, stale and cold. Disgusting will never order again.

As always, the food was excellent and freshly cooked to order. The on duty staff today were Richard and Lisa and both were very friendly and welcoming... they certainly made me smile while waiting for my food to cook. I don’t live in the UK so I only get to visit Letchworth a couple of times a year, but when I do I always make one of my very first stops the Deep Blue fish and chip shop in Letchworth. You can’t beat a traditional British fish and chip shop and in my option they don’t come much better than this one!

The chips are the best and fish batter is also the best.Dean and Lisa and John are very patient and friendly best fish shop in Letchworth.

Really disappointing experience yesterday - 2 large portions of chips over £7 !? 1.) it was way more like a regular portion and 2.) the chips were tastless and anemic. wont be using again.

Worst fish and chips we've ever had!!. Don't know how long the chips had been left to stand under heat after cooking but they tasted dry and stale. Ordered a large portion of chips and asked serving assistant to top them up as barely a dozen in the box which was supposed to be a large portion. A note to the cautious as well. If you are paying in cash and are expecting some change...make sure the assistant serving doesn't " forget " to give it to you. No one else in the shop... I wonder why!! Would have given no stars but not able to.Hence to say will not be using you again.
