As much I love this place and been here many times with my hubby. After they re open we were 2 times already on th lake on the same spot together and there was no problem. We wanted to go again and the staff was really rude and he said we can not be on the same spot we need to be 10m apart from each other or if he cach us he will sent us home witthout refund. He was so arrogant. So we decided to leave and find our new perfect fishing place at Rib Valley. Its a shame for that beautiful place.

Me and my partner kids went fishing 6 rods in total over two pegs had all the equipment but apparently not good enough the bailiff chucked us off for no good reason tried to not give us our money back very rude indeed very silly man. The owner was nice but ruined my hole day will not be returning shame as I’d like to have had another run in with the bloke without my children or partner present don’t waste your money hear go somewhere better stocked up with fish and better manners real shame

Beautiful fishery its such a shame that its not managed correctly water is 4 1/2 foot lower than it should be and the bailiff Andy could be a LOT more friendly i had an emergency on the morning after a night session phoned management to get out and was treated like a criminal the attitude that I received was appalling i will NOT be returning anytime soon

Very Rude individual who patrols the bank. Needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. Do not recommend if you want to go for an enjoyable days fishing. Takes the fun out of the sport.

Absolutely rude staff. Little skinny guy with a lanyard on a power trip is so rude and arrogant. Used to be an awesome place to fish but now human waste and toilet paper litters the place if you're ok with being spoken to like rubbish and smelling human waste then this is the place for you!

Just went to willows Lake to see what it was like. Walking around talking to some lads there, the carp are about to start spawning for the next season. The lake looks nice clean bailiff comes too see you on his quad, nice guy too. Some good size fish cats,carp many more to be grabbed out. Prices are fair too. Not bad lake.

Decent fishery with plenty of carp, doubles on farm and willow lake. Catfish are prezent în farm lake. Toilets available. Car park very close to the lake Lakes are easy, not weedy at all. Decent fishing There is a shop at the main entrance where you also have to buy your ticket from

Beautiful place, however experience wasn’t great, I am a beginner and am nowhere near confident to fish alone. I come with y husband who has been fishing for years, we was told on arrival that if I was fishing then would need to pay which is fine and we did. Got told I could stay with my husband so he could help me. We stayed the night no problems so decided to pay again for the day, we was charged £18 each for 3 rods, my husband had 3 rods out and I had two, in the afternoon the bayliff then come round and said I had to use a different swim which was the other end of the lake to where we are! So I packed up my rods, am down £18 and won’t be returning!! I was starting to begin enjoying fishing just a shame they don’t like beginners!

I have been fish there years ago, and I want to go back, but I had concerns about the new management and staff, I saw couple of comments saying they are racist and rude...Well I can confirm that is not true. I been on farm lake for 36 hours with sister and brother in law, and the bailiff was a very nice guy he find a couple of issues with my sister tackle and very polity bring it to our attention and we sort it out immediately. Well we did not catch anything but still it was an amazing time, and I know the lake there is plenty of fish there, and as I mentioned before I spoke 3 bailiff during this session and all of them was very professional and polite with us.

Went there for the first and only time. I would normally say that the staff is rude and arogant but the truth is that the bailiff is a c..t, and apart from that not a single bite in 12h. My advice, don't bother to go there!

The staff from there are very rude, whit an aggressive behaviour, nearly to get in a fight with them. For 5 years I'm fishing there and the new team was treating me like sheet. If you don't want to ruin your day avoid to go at Willlow lake

i was thinking of coming to the venue .but on seeing the reviews of how rude the staff are.who ever owns the place should take action with these abrupt rude people they have on this venue ,get rid off before they ruin your income .

Great little gem. The lads/ On site Baliffs are working hard to improve swims and the overall appearance and feel of the fishery. Very helpful and knowledgeable lads. I didnt go here before but it is now in great hands.👌

What was Willows Lakes is now called Albans Lakes. A great picturesque lake ideal to take the family if you are trying to get them into fishing. Also great for the carp anglers as some lovely big fish in here.

Big lake,plenty of Fair sized carp,easy to get to plenty of parking,good place to take family ,no shelter if raining. Easy to walk around if you want to.

Nike lakes,, good carp and catfish staff are always welcome you

I read the reviews on this place and there were a lot of negative reviews. I thought ill give it a go anyway I really shouldn't have. Me and my wife were treated by the main bailiff like garbage If I Gould rate this place a negative 10 I would. Stay away!!

Very well managed and looked after fishery The fish stock is spot on, on each lakes every type of angler can find their pleasure I always had great times there for years back Well supplied tackle shop and nice food from the burger van Well recommended place A +++++

Was my first time using this lake,was fishing with my partner and kids and we are new to the sport.one of the guys who works there think his name is Lance is the most rude and arrogant person I have ever meet,over a small green tent we put up to sleep in as we where night fishing,it was in the rules on the board which no one really reads but there is no need to speak to people like that even made my 9year cry. Well I will not being going there again and I was going to spend alit of money on bait from there shop but will take my money else where.

Went here for a day 2nd June with my partner as I am new to fishing and wanted to give it a go. Stunning lakes and lovely fish, caught lots myself as a complete beginner. Craig was brilliant and has been putting a lot of work into the place, and it shows. Can't wait to go back again, highly recommended. Don't listen to the negative reviews, see for yourself!!

They rude with people understanding anyone can made mistakes but paying 24 hour session and after 15 hours they just said you have to leave and is not something what can’t be ignored

Fished the match lake for a few hours. £12 for the day ( one rod). Not too busy. Lots of fish. Was float fishing . Lots of silver fish with corn , plus the odd carp. Went onto pellet and lots more carp. Despite the dry weather lots of the pegs are submerged which was a bit odd, but can’t complain about the amount of fish.

Love the lakes and really looked after waters will be going back lots of times really good tackle shop onsite as well and really helpful staff really appreciated my stay
