Radwell Lake campsite

Campground

🫀 This camping is in a very strange environment, so might be a pro to some people or a con to the others.. the toilet was fairly clean. No showers. You have to pay on top for electricity. No rubbish bins on the campsite. They ask you to take your rubbish with you. People often mention water,

Great site for a short stopover. We needed a one night stay on our way home and this fitted the bill perfectly. Simple, basic facilities, but spotlessly clean, drinking water, and electric hook up if you need it. Also a small tea / coffee hut during the day. We stayed in the Orchard so no hook up but had a lovely bbq and campfire to finish off our holiday. The smell of the apples in the Orchard was gorgeous!

Very pretty orchard where we camped. Dawn bird chorus was the best I have ever heard! Clean bathrooms, lovely lake, church and nice walk to the Stotfold water mill. Baldock services about 15 min walk so plenty of options to pick up food.

Camping at Radwell Campsite means you get flat grass and fairly clean, but old toilet facilities on a farm, which had better times. A little play park is available. Camping on the orchard is nice. What you don’t get is warm water, showers and a waste disposal option. Because of the near airport and motorway you have permanent noise 24/7 . We had much better campsites for 23Β£ w/o electric hookup for 2 adults and two little children.

Beautiful orchard field, flat, in good condition, perfect for pitching a tent. Clean toilets (note there are no showers/no hot water). Playground equipment not in great condition. Stayed for 1 night. Unusual feel to the place.

Met up with my son we stayed there in his motorhome for 2 nights very basic amenities only cold water and toilet available on site, so off to Baldock services for the proverbial shower this site I would only recommend for overnight stays as its very close to Baldock services and A1

Great campsite close to London. Simple toilet and fresh water services, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, set in a picturesque location just off the A1. Would definitely recommend, will be returning soon.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Lovely little site on the edge of Ashwell. 3 pubs to choose from, good walks across farm tracks, village has a few shops. Staff helpful and friendly. Stay there regularly.
