    Still on the phone after 28 minutes. If you can't answer the calls within 10 minutes you should get more staff. Also if I want to report a missed bin collection, I do not want to have to sign up for an account so I can do so. hiredcompetent

    Can't get through on the phone. When you do the person doesn't know what your talking about. Have water coming through kitchen light and the earliest they can come out is the 20th July. Not good enough Stevenage borough council, more staff needed and better training.

    This council never answer the phone, you get cut off when you choose your options and their replies to emails looks like they’ve been done by a junior school pupil. I’m surprised they even get two stars on their reviews. The lack of urgency to do jobs around the town is among the worst I’ve ever encountered.

    I have a lot to say about this place, from a lack of compassion for individualised cases, and not taking abuse of men more seriously. To not knowing anything about mental health and the effects it has on the person with the diagnosis to the people living and affected by that person mental health. Amazing at passing you pillar to post. Lack of training in equality and diversity evidence by comparing a man with mental health and physical health condition to someone who's pregnant and also to someone who lives in a 1 bed bungalow needing an amputated leg, forgetting the person their replying to does not have their own place to even act their own personal centred care let alone advance care needs if necessary

    If I could give 0 stars I would. In February I requested some help for my disabled sister. She had a broken window in her ground floor flat, also a problem with people parking outside her bedroom window & making noise especially at night. She couldn't sleep. I explained her mental health was suffering greatly from it, to the point I was worried what she may do. This is their response: nothing for over a month, then upon complaining it was raised to level 1. Then nothing again for weeks, complaint raised to level 2, then they sent out someone to see my sister to discuss the problem. Was assured it would be sorted. Then nothing for weeks. After another angry phonecall from a friend, someone came out the same day to fix the window ( after 8 months of my sister initially reporting it) then nothing again, called to say the issue of parking outside window, with people leaving their engine running & noise still not dealt with, complaint raised to level 3... that was at least a month ago & ive emailed them & to date heard absolutely nothing. Thanks stevenage borough council for not doing your job & not giving a single care for people with mental health. I'm still worried about what my sister will do but you obviously arnt!!

    Disappointed with the SADA (Stevenage Against Domestic Abuse) service, had a phone appointment the other day and did not help out with my situation at all with my case being closed. Bad enough I don’t get on with the CAB now not with SADA, now I’m with Mind In Mid Herts at least they listen and are helpful.

    I have been chasing my recycling waste collection for the last 8 months and every time they missed it. I have raised the formal complaint as well. I don't understand the barriers to fix this simple issue. However, whenever I have spoken to someone they are friendly.

    I feel service is very poor as I being calling and waiting to talk about a letter I received as to a payment of £226.87 , when I dont have no money till 21st April as I paid monthly and not enough advisors to answer the calls or even when transferred and being waiting for 24.mins and 40 seconds when I do have other things to do , but yr quick enough to want money or what to know things or evit people but dont help when we call so I am very unhappy with the service

    Been trying to get a fence fixed for 3 years now. If you're not going to fix it please stop pretending you are and putting us on some fictitious list. Like the nhs and police force, pointless.

    Website wast of time tried to report miss bin & repair online, didn't work just came up fault, takes payments okay though "joke " Who Wrote program???? Probably the same people behind covid track & trace app ( Boris rip off mates)

    Just been on the phone 3 times totalling over 1 1/2 hours to get a leak fixed its really unacceptable when it states report it online ,and low and behold its down for maintenance and has been like that for 3 days, what a joke .you need more people answering the phone also its still got the message on their about the Queen passing away I think it needs updating .what are you lot doing as you still want me to pay rent for a service that your not supplying!!!

    It’s a fantastic place to work, everyone here is friendly and helpful. However, I do understand that clients get frustrated using the website (negative posts), but hey, that’s progress which requires change and clearly not everyone embraces change (lol). The SBC website is a fantastic portal providing clients full access to services, information and down-loadable documents, it is very comprehensive, so worth putting in a little time to learn how to navigate it (and more efficient than using the phone). Finally and not forgetting, for those who have the time, or prefere a face-to-face, SBC also provide a no-appointment walk-in customer service centre, a rare thing these days, well done Stevenage Borough Council!

    I've been putting my bins out in the same place for fifty years recently even though I put them out they were missed tried to contact council online I do not want to open an account clicked icon still could not get past setup account. Due to Bank Holiday collection moved to a Saturday unable to phone tried on Monday when you get through the seven options you are then told all our operators are busy (nine am) ten minutes later still waiting after fifteen I gave up in the private sector a customer should not be kept waiting more than five (which is the general rule) worst customer service I have ever dealt with, after listening to the same piece of music and messages does get annoying

    No one seems to work for Stevenage council at the moment as no one is answering the phone the excuse that the pandemic has caused this problem does not wash any more after all it's the rate payer that's funding the wages
