Its Not the place I hate. I noticed the dog walkers are doing their bit to clear up, but the council seem to think they have done enough by just providing the bins. But not empty them regularly where's the logic in that.

Nice park with a lush long (ish) grass meadow, playground and a nice tree covered path. It is unfortunately mostly unlit at night. The path could do with a bit of leveling and regraveling as it can get puddly and muddy after a moderate rain. Popular with dog walkers.

Went to watch sunday football. The pitch was at least marked out but the goal posts and nets are from the 'dark ages' and no where for the guys to change!

The Avenue footpath is a lovely walk through trees with your dog or a delightful run. This connects the Curly-Whirly bridge on Martin's Way to the High Street. There is a nice little playground at the High Street end with decent facilities for children to play and enjoy. Nice green space for having a picnic, walking your dog or kicking a ball around.
