Visited the Church Farm in Ardeley for a day out with our toddler and we all absolutely loved it! Lots of things to do and you can easily spend the entire day there. We loved the Farm Trail, the "bear hunt", feeding the animals, seeing lots of happy animals (particularly pigs and piglets) and the play area in the woods with lots of toy tractors and diggers. The farm café is lovely too. Fantastic day out for the family - We'll be back!

We had a wonderful day at church farm . We seen turkeys , alpaca, pigs, goats , lambs , sheep , cows , rabbits. We went on a lovely tractor ride . If we wanted we could of feed some lambs and walked some goats. The children play area in the woods was also good and the fairy trail was fun. 5 stars from me .

Nice day out. Goats and sheep are most excited by food, pigs weren't particularly interested. Cows were interested. Lambs had just been put out in the field so good time to go, very cute. And there were some piglets. We took a packed lunch and were allowed to eat it on picnic benches just off site.

Had a lovely camping weekend in a secluded private field. Don't be put off by the compost toilets, they are actually odour free and cleaner than alot of traditional campsite facilities. Kids loved having access to the farm too and the trails to explore. Farm shop sold good food and the breakfast bap in the cafe was amazing.

If you are looking for a quaint and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, then a visit to Ardeley Farm in Stevenage might just be what you need. The farm is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. During my visit, I noticed that the farm had limited stock. However, I was advised by the staff that visiting early spring is the best time to see more live stock. Despite this, I still had a great time exploring the farm and seeing the animals that were there. The farm has a charming and rustic atmosphere with cafe and shop on site. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and the farm's history, which added to the overall experience. P.S love the character of that smiling on camera bull Overall, I would recommend a visit to Ardeley Farm for anyone looking for a peaceful escape and a chance to connect with nature. Just be sure to visit during the early spring if you're looking to see more love stock.

Great location, food and coffee is good but it gets so busy here that the staff can’t cope. I queued to order coffee and ordered at 10:03 and it’s now 11:06 and no sign of my caffeine hit. Staff apologetic.

I've stayed at Church Farm Ardley 3 times now and always have a great time. We like the cabins with wood burners, especially in Beards Oak woods. The shop has great produce and everything you need for camp fires etc. And the cafe and pub are a great option too. It's a really handy spot, not far from London but still lovely and rural. Great for families. Kids love the farm too.

We recently enjoyed a fabulous weekend of camping on 1 -3 Sept with 11 friends/ family. This is our fourth visit and we will definitely come again. The facilities are excellent, views spectacular with the added bonus of an onsite shop and pub.

Generally the location around the farm was so welcomed. The facilities in the farm were good, but they needs some updates. The staff were so welcomed and helpful as well, especially with children. Unfortunatelly we had not a time to visit the coffee shop and the pub, but we bought some eggs from the farm( a bit expensive). My family enjoyed it a lot🐓

I had a very pleasant stay on Saturday night. Camping in the woods was excellent,  very authentic. The staff in the shop were very polite, welcoming and informative.  In fact the whole experience was great. The camping facilities were perfectly adequate . Great job all round.

Great place to visit with the kids. They have a range of farm animals, many you can feed, including cows, sheep, goats and pigs. They have activities, a cafe and shop so plenty to do for a few hours and educational for the kids.

Church farm Arderly fantastic service fantastic place to camp for a weekend to relax and enjoy the sounds of the country. Loads of space for kids to run around or they can go feed to animals on the Farm dogs are welcome but remember it is a working Farm so they have a rule that dogs must be on the lead. For Disabled it is possible to go camping just email ahead and they will help you even with putting the tent up for you. There are some obstacles like the compost loo but you can choose where you pitch I look for the tap and get as close as possible and not too far from the loo either. Good old fashioned customer service.

We had an excellent woodland camping weekend at Church Farm. All of the staff we spoke to were very helpful, and have a wealth of knowledge and pride in the farm, and are very clear on the rules. We found an amazing pitch in the woodland, and can only hope that when we return it won't have been snapped up! The highlight for the family was the goat walking on Saturday morning (thanks goat walking staff, you were great!), and cooking over our own fire in the evenings.

The farm is a great place to stay. Staff are all lovely and helpful and the shop is always fully stocked with great produce. I love that you can pitch where you want, once you have been given the field you’re staying in,and there is never an issue of overcrowding. Stayed here many times and will continue to do so

Such a beautiful place. My son really loved the animals and being able to walk through the nature. We will definitely come back as we didn’t manage to go everywhere we planned. Breakfast at the cafe was beautiful. I also loved to see how inclusive the place is and how friendly and welcoming all the staff were.

Regularly go camping here. Regular field camping, but also wooded areas, great for tents as well as hammocks. Great if you want the wild camping experience, but with the convenience of having toilets and showers.... Prices are a bit steep in the shop and cafe, but the quality is well worth it....

I'd like to congratulate you on outstanding customer service. Friendly, engaging and accommodating! Particularly the staff member who came in last Wednesday on his day off so my daughter could do a goat walking experience. I got the time mixed up and he agreed without hesitation to stay an extra hour so we could do the walk. Thanks so much!
