We
we're
treated
particularly
rudely
by
a
member
of
staff
because
of
what
seemed
to
be
an
error
with
their
online
booking
system.
We
booked
online
on
Thursday
for
5
people
to
eat
on
Saturday
evening
at
6:30.
On
Friday
night
we
missed
3
calls
from
the
restaurant
late
in
the
evening.
We
called
back
multiple
times
on
Saturday
morning
to
see
what
they
were
calling
about,
and
finally
managed
to
get
through
about
midday,
where
they
confirmed
they
still
had
our
booking.
Once
we
got
to
the
restaurant,
they
couldn't
find
our
booking,
and
when
we
queried
it,
another
staff
member
stormed
over
with
some
booking
receipts,
and
accused
us
of
booking
the
same
booking
5
times,
by
repeatly
and
pedanticly
counting
through
the
receipts
one
by
one.
This
is
despite
the
fact
that
we
received
one
confirmation
email,
and
tried
to
explain
this
fact.
After
a
back
and
forth
with
this,
he
said
they'd
have
our
table
ready
in
5
minutes.
We
used
our
better
judgement
and
went
elsewhere
for
dinner.
Not
sure
why
they
felt
the
need
to
make
a
big
deal
over
what
seemed
to
be
a
technical
error
with
their
online
booking
system,
and
trying
to
blame
us
for
it
in
a
heated
and
very
rude
rant,
given
they
clearly
had
the
space
for
us
anyway.
A
shame.
