Second meal from Gangnam and what a pleasant surprise in Stevenage. The staff get five stars, very friendly and helpful. It’s the types of place where you feel like part of the family. The food is tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The kimchi is always pleasant. Had dumplings this time around and they were very tasty. Also had the Bibimbap. They are tasty, and the flavours were excellent.

We've eaten here a few times and the food of course is exceptional- fresh and filling, in big portions, always comes out steaming hot and worth every penny. But what keeps us coming back is the unparalleled customer service- every need is met, without feeling like you're being constantly interrupted, all the staff are kind and friendly. A great place for a mid week date night, or if you're looking for a lovely venue for a family get together!

Went here for my anniversary dinner - will definitely come back. Nice, calm relaxing restaurant with great service and amazing food. My partner and I are looking forward to working through the menu.

Second visit to Gangnam. Brilliant food, I was thinking of when I could return for my 3rd visit whilst eating my meal - lively flavours and a real feel of homely Korean cooking. The staff are always very polite and the service is fast. Will be returning very soon!

Tastiest food! If you haven’t tried South Korean food, this place is s must for food lovers! Beautiful taste and presentation. Can’t rate this food enough! Dine in and take out.

Great food! However, they are selling sushi as kimbab! I was very disappointed and the service was terrible! I think all the staff were new as they seemed to not know what they were doing! Our waiter asked twice for our order and still missed one of the dishes. As the food was amazing we waited patiently for the missing dish to arrive. Then we ordered take away whilst we waited. They put the take away items on the eat in bill so we paid for service charge for them. We left the place and checked for our order, my whole takeaway order was missing! When we went back to tell them, the staff weren’t hazed! They didn’t even say sorry. But the chef was so nice and friendly! He apologised and gave us some kimchi and cake for their mistake. This place could do so much better if they have a better service for sure!

Incredible food. This place is better than most of the places I've been to in London without the fancy over the top interiors. The staff / owners are also lovely and really welcoming. One downside is we're just outside of their catchment area for delivery!

I ordered food from here on Uber eats. I was watching a Korean series at the time and thought I fancied trying some Korean style food. I found the food delicious and all their main meal choices are very healthy with lots of vegetables. Portion sizes are generous. It's now my favourite takeaway. I will definitely try eating in the restaurant for food at some point as it's not far from me.

Service was slow. £2 for a multipack can of coke that says 'multipack not for resale' is pretty tacky. No cider (I do appreciate it's a Korean restaurant but they served beer, which I can't drink, so no booze for me) They had some pretty intense rap music playing, rather awkward for a family meal. I had the vegetarian hotpot which was essentially noodles and boiled vegetables, guess they forgot to add any flavour to it. No vegan guidance on the menu so I had to guess. We tried to book but no one answered the phone like 3 times. Pretty lame overall

Food was lovely. Service was slow (too slow, we like a relaxed service but there is a line). Men’s toilet is a cleaning cupboard plus no lock. So our 12 year old son had to use the ladies. Food was at a good price plus drinks. Family of 4 drinks, starters & mains total was £80

Unusual out of the way place to have a Korean Restaurant. Simple but effective decor. Efficient and helpful staff. Food is authentic and good. Good price.

Went early evening for something a little different. Initial impression is not good as the restaurant has an unfortunate shape and is very canteen like. It wasn't busy but the service was quite slow. The menu choices for mains are quite limited but the quality and pricing are 4 star. Would revisit but only very occasionally due to the limited choices on offer.

Delicious food!! Took a chance on this restaurant and I was so pleasantly surprised. All the food was fresh and delicious, and so well priced! I had two starters and a main for under £20! Really couldn’t recommend enough, if you’re thinking about it go for it!

Delicious food, comfortable pleasantly decorated surroundings. Friendly, competent staff. £75 for a good quality meal for 4 (3 starters, 4 mains, 1 side, 5 beers). It's as good value for money as you can get in Stevenage.

Surprisingly large on the inside. Service is lovely if not very fast although there may have been a kitchen issue for a while. We were given some extra sides for free because of the wait and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Very flavoursome honest food nicely presented in a relaxed atmosphere.

Such a great find! I had a lovely meal. The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent. There are vegetarian and gluten free options and lots of choice. Plus the best green tea I've ever had! Can't wait to come back.

Gangman has become one of my favourite Korean restaurants to eat at. I'm always trying to find a new Korean eatery in whatever city I am in, and whenever I'm visiting my partner it's a delight for us to dine at this place. The service is kind and compassionate, and the food is always delicious and wanting me to order more! I'm biased to always order a Chicken Bibimbap but I must say the bulgogi and the fried chicken strips were a new order that I'll be having again. This is a hidden gem in Stevenage for sure.
