2 words… “just awful”. I’ve eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants, and this one has left me speechless. Im not sure what was worse, the amount of time we were at at the table with no food or the food itself. Myself and others waited over an hour for the food, which gave us plenty of time to keep hydrated by drinking their over-priced beers. Despite the fact that the long wait had caused me to consume my own body weight in drinks, the madras I was served was awful. It contained what could only be measurable to the same salt content that is found in the Red Sea. The Korma resembled an Ambrosia Rice pudding (which I would have preferred in all honesty) and 3 of our rice dishes were stone cold. When asked politely to change the rice, it was microwaved, leaving parts of it to be scolding hot and the rest still cold. The highlight of the meal was the warm towelettes which I used to cleanse myself of the sins placed before me. I haven’t been this disappointed since I found out dominoes stopped doing their lunchtime £1 pizzas. Won’t be eating here again. Will be having nightmares for years to come. I can only wish I went to dominoes across the road.

Just got back from gourmet night on a Tuesday, which was excellent. Choose from a starter, main, rice or naan and a side for 11.95 which is excellent value and portion sizes just right rather than being far too enormous to comprehend lie other local restaurants 😊 Food was delicious and staff were very attentive, will definitely return again!

This was awful, I had started a main and a side, every dish tasted the same, as if they had a big pot of one sauce, and added the relevant meat/veg into that sauce and adjusted the chili powder level as appropriate. Followed by really bad customer service towards the end of the dinner when we were settling the bill, the waiter stood by the table as we all calculated the split between us, it felt intrusive as we were calculating money on the table and he was right in front of us all.

Had a superb meal here tonight. The food was delivered quickly and tasted spicy and fine. The waiters hovered to see if we had any issues with our meal without being in your face. I booked by text days earlier and all my enquiries were answered right away.

Without doubt the beat Indian food I’ve ever had. The place is lovely and service is on point. Staffs spent so much time explaining different dishes to us. Really good restaurant, should definitely try👍🏻👍🏻

If I could give 0 stars I would. We arrived and there were no customers yet when we asked for a table they looked at us blankly and said we might fit you in. We should have left then but unfortunately we stayed. We ordered the food and when it arrived it was shocking. All of it weird strange colours and some had clearly been heated in the microwave! We told the waiter that the food didn’t taste nice and the waiter told us that maybe we had “drunk too much alcohol to know any better” We were extremely shocked by this comment and asked for the bill. The bill then came and it was so overpriced. When we stated this four of them surrounded our table and all started getting loud stating the food was fine and we must pay. FYI no other customers came in during the entirety of our meal so I do not know why they pretended when we arrived that they were fitting us on. They should have been voting our hand off for the custom! I cannot convey this enough. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Would of been a 5 star but unfortunately there prices have become way too expensive lately, been using them for 10 plus years but can't justify the prices ,foods good but a lot of competition in stevenage now and price and quality is everything.

One of the worst restaurant ,we feel very unwelcome and the staff is lecturing about the punctuality for a 10 min delay in arriving ,The food was Oily and the drinks glasses were stinking. several times we are asked to leave .if u don’t have time to serve why did U take order in the first place ,horrendous.

Very Impressed. A little Indian restaurant with excellent food and warm welcome. The food (We ate every bit, unusually for us) was amazing, meat was so tender, best curry around. The Service was great with handshakes, smiles and they were attentive without us having to ask for anything. We loved their food and their warm welcoming service, so will be going back again, soon hopefully.
