Absolutely fabulous! I don't know how I've missed this place opening, talking to the owners they've been there 5 months. I wish I'd found them sooner! Without a single doubt the best curry goat I've ever had, and I've had a lot 🐐😂😂. It's hard to single that out, everything was excellent. The dumplings were really good, lovely crust to them and the soft and unctuous inside, just how they should be. The better half loves ackee & and saltfish, craving the taste of holidays past. We've tried so many places and she's never been entirely happy, until today. She loved it! The owners are super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful or warm, herself doesn't like heat so they let us taste things to check beforehand. The prices are excellent and the portions really generous. I couldn't finish the large curry goat, that doesn't happen often I'll tell you 😂 Can't wait to be back and come for a sit down. Easily the best Caribbean food around.

Honest review. Ordered two curry goats and rice. Rice an peas were 8/10 tasty fluffy and nice. Curry goat 6/10 looked the part smelled the part. But lacked ginger and garlic. The sauce was a little runny, but meat was the perfect texture but no deep flavour and bit oily and both of us needed to add salt. Might not of reveiwed tbh. but if your gonna charge £12 a meal with no salad. I expect FLAVOUR. staff were amazing however. but if you know your carribean food, its you im talking too.

Proper tings!! Can’t believe I only just found this place. Proper food big portions, even got some left for lunch.

Every single time I think I'd give them another try because maybe they'd be better, they aren't. Over priced for small portions lacks salt oxtail full of fat mac & cheese dry tasteless and starchy. Not real carribean food never going back again and wasting my money.

I've been to alot of so called amazing jamaican food places, but this place is actually 10 out of 10. The food here is on another level. I googled this place, I went there and I ordered curry goat, rice n peas, slaw, plantain, fried dumpling and mac n cheese. The dumpling were perfect, the flavours in the curry goat were on a next level. Plantain was sweet and the rice cooked to perfection. Everything was very nicely cooked. I went in and ordered and within ten minutes it was packed and ready to go. The service was excellent and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend this little gem of a place, I'm definitely going back.

Authentic, delicious jerk chicken! Praise the Lord and in Stevenage! It’s sooo good! Definitely recommend! Decent portion sizes! Enough for dinner and then lunch the next day and reasonable priced!

Stumbled on this little jem by chance. And am so glad I did. The food was amazing, the customer service was brilliant and it was relatively quick. Honestly worth the drive from Hemel and Dunstable. Definitely coming back. Boneless curry goat was exceptional and the portion was enough for leftovers. If I could give more stars I would. 🌟

Really nice little place in the old town. Great and authentic Jamaican food. Huge portions too. You feel like you are having dinner with a Jamaican family. Really enjoyed the place. Can definitely recommend it!

Great atmosphere, May have travelled a fair way for Caribbean food, truth be told even if I lived further away it was certainly worth it! Absolutely taste tastic! 👌🏻will go again and 100% recommend!

Recently had a tooth extracted so went for the goat soup. I get that not everything can be made fresh but this had clearly been heated from frozen and not chilled. The potatoes and yams had a horrible texture and a good tell if something has been frozen and reheated. Also there was very little meat and dumplings maybe 2 tiny pieces of meat 1 dumpling. Not worth £7 for a reheated frozen goat soup of mostly potatoes and yams.

These guys are friendly and skilled. Even let us eat in early as it was snowing outside. Respect. Food was banging! Definitely returning!

I give honest reviews as it helps people know what to expect. Man I wish I could give Ritty’s 6 stars. Food was superb, perfect in fact. We tried brown stew for the first time, loved it. The jerk had a kick but the flavour was spot on. The curry goat was as always amazing. Delivery was prompt and friendly. Honestly couldn’t fault a thing.

Ordered rice and peas with jerk chicken for dinner on deliveroo. The rice was beautifully cooked, and the chicken was very tender and tasty. The only disappointment was the jerk sauce. It was TOO SWEET, not the usual jerk sauce I'm used to. I didn't enjoy the sauce with the rice. I just had it with the chicken instead. I'm a diabetic patient I won't order with the sauce next time, but I will definitely recommend the restaurant. 👌👌👌

Took the family for a meal here. Really enjoyed the curry goat rice very tasty good portions. My had the jerk chicken which she really enjoyed. We Would definitely recommend this Caribbean eatery so far the best outside of London.

Best Caribbean spot in Stevenage 5/5 Me and My boyfriend were craving Caribbean food and we wasn’t disappointed. Service was amazing so friendly and welcoming and the portions sizes are very good great value for Money. If you haven’t tried here already make sure you pop over and support. I will deffo be returning.

Omg! what lovely food. First time we had a takeaway was last night. It was one of the best takeaway we've had ever had. The portions we're well worth the money. Can't wait to try other food on the menu. Was sad to be getting a takeaway because the atmosphere was brilliant.

Great food, a real & needed taste of the Caribbean. If you miss the flavours, vibe & relaxation it's definitely the place to go. Oh & defo try the curry Goat stew.

The give massive servings of meat and rice. Their jerk chicken and jerk pork are so nicely spiced and I loved it especially with added plantains. Their oxtail was really tender as well. I will keep coming back to Rittys if I'm craving for Carribean food.

So good, totally authentic and bursting with flavour. Great service so friendly and food arrived fast. Drove all the way from Cambridge and it was worth it! A must visit IMHO

Authentic tasty Caribbean food. Massive portion sizes. Jerk tastes like it’s done proper on a jerk pan too. The oxtail is really damn good too. Eaten here a fair bit, never had anything but great food. Friendly staff too. My favourite place to eat in Stevenage.

Love this place the curry goat is a must try,there's lots different Caribbean food here to have,it's soo good,love the vibe here with the reggae playing as you wait for your food,friendly staff,lots of food for the price aswell, A must visit.

Got a takeaway today, Jerk chicken, rice and peas. I must say it was the best Jerk Chicken I've had. Portion size is very generous. Highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to try more from the menu 😋
