After already standing waiting for someone to take my fiancés order for over ten minutes at the till, when he finally asked someone if they could serve him he was met with the manageress saying yeah, 5 minutes. Her attitude was very lack lustre? Couldn’t seem to actually give two about wether the customers were happy or not. As a manager myself I saw no motivation from her end, to get her staff to check customers orders were coming out on time etc she just seemed to wander aimlessly about the restaurant and into the kitchen area. As I'm writing this we’ve been waiting over 35-40 minutes for our food. When the hot plate is clearly packed with food…. People who came in after us had their food before us also. It’s not my place to tell anyone how to do their job but as an ex hospitality manager I’ve never seen such a badly run establishment. I get this restaurant is new but…. It’s Sunday it’s not exactly a peak trading day….. expected better. Doubt I’ll come back to this Nando’s again and stick to the other one on the retail park by the cinema TURNS OUT THEY DIDN’T PUT OUR ORDER THROUGH TO BEGIN WITH!

Beautifully decorated restaurant. The service was good. There was no line to enter. The food right from the starters to dessert was delicious. We had the pitta and hummus dip for starters and the sharing platter for main which was sufficient for us. They have the delicious pasteis de nata in their dessert menu which was nice! Will certainly visit again!

Rude service at front of house. Picked up an order got told to move away from door when coming in and no where else to go and got told to stand to the side not even asked order number or name. I understand it’s a busy night but politeness doesn’t cost a thing.

Good service good staff layout very nice food classic nandos cooked well taste generic as all nandos chains, really couldn't fault it, missing 1 star as the table I was on draft kept coming through, something needs doing with that.

My first visit to this Nando's at approximately midday. Only a few customers and service was fine. Good quality Nando's food. Only downside was the menu and table was dirty and a little sticky. Not the best first impression. I would visit again.

Great lunch at Nando's today - lovely staff and the food came so quickly. Interiors are really nice and everywhere was super clean.

Fantastic service at this Nando's branch! All of the waiting staff members and the manager were patient and friendly with us despite being a large group and having several special dietary requirements. Food was served quickly and quality was great!

One star for the poor staff very polite and pleasant, considering the working conditions. Food came up cold was replaced , so ate on my own, while my husband waited. The restaurant was so cold we had to keep our coats on as did most of the other diners . Not very pleasant experience , so much for date night. Was supposed to be a treat not death by freezing . Was told it was the poor heating system. We’ll get some heaters !! It was defiantly below the legal working temperature .

New store, cute environment though loads of customers in their pijamas 🤪 food was great, served swiftly upon ordering via their app.

Food is good, but the door needs sorting as let a cold draught in while people stood in the door asking for a table.

As the Debenhams Nando’s shut earlier this year we eagerly anticipated the launch of the new Nando’s that replaced Pizza Hut and boy were we impressed on first visit. The building was spectacular, art, lighting and warmth. The layout is interesting, whilst slightly unconventional I think it will really grow on you. The restaurant was pretty full but ordering was no issue and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food which was good. They were missing corn and frozen yoghurt but the food was cooked perfectly and had a lovely flavour. The staff were friendly and helpful and did a good job supporting us as a family with young kids. I’ve passionately sung the praises of the other Nando’s based in Stevenage leisure park for a some time now, and it would take some beating but after todays visit to Roaring Meg, we’ll definitely be returning and who knows maybe it will be crowned best Nando’s in Stevenage!

Usually come here as it is quick, especially when you just want a takeaway and then to quickly get off, however tried to place an order yesterday over the phone and it took 20 minutes for them to accept it (as we had a free meal written in the logbook). We got told it would be ready in 20 minutes, so we turned up 10-15 minutes later to get out food and they had no idea about our order. the person who took the order on the phone, didn't put it through so it hadn't began cooking. they finally found out free meal, so we put the order through and we then had to wait another 15 minutes for our food to cook. however, although this service was poor, the staff were very apologetic and they made our food as quickly as they could. usually the service is perfect in there, but this difficulty has caused me to put my thoughts, on this restaurant, down.

Food brilliant. Internet coverage not good in here couldn't even get signal, so trying to order the food was a nightmare. After 20 mins of trying was going to leave but waitress kindly took our order.

I have been to Nando's every so often over the years and it's always been fairly good. But this time upon visiting I was quite disappointed with the flavouring. I have gastrointestinal problems and can't tolerate spicy or heavily marinated foods, so I ordered their chicken in 'plain'. Maybe it's just my tastebuds but it did not taste plain at all. It was hot and spicy and I was reaching for my drink more times than I usually do during a meal. The chips and garlic great though, cooked well and nice aromatic flavours. Shame they don't actually have non marinated chicken, like a breaded chicken strip meal or something, I'd be worried about giving their 'plain' food to a child to eat. Well it's much later on after my meal now and my stomach is not happy with me at all. I'm writing this review from my bathroom as I sit here in agony.

I went here to get a takeaway and i was working an ambulance shift, the speed my order came out once ordered was very quick. Although the chicken wrap i had was nice unfortunately it wasn't hot, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Great Experience Overall. No wait times. Waitress was a little rude and there was basically no Avacoda in the Salad.
