We've
been
meaning
to
go
here
for
ages
and
finally
made
it
on
a
miserable
Friday
night.
The
welcome
however
was
bright
and
cheerful
(and
this
was
indeed
the
case
from
every
member
of
staff
during
our
visit).
It
wasn't
particularly
busy
when
we
arrived,
so
speed
of
service
wasn't
an
issue.
A
look
at
the
menu
didn't
particularly
excite
me
(turkey
in
February?
Seriously?)
although
that
made
the
decision
of
what
to
choose
to
eat
easy!
When
the
2
adult
pizzas
arrived
(didnt
have
to
wait
too
long)
they
were
cooked
perfectly
and
tasted
great.
The
side
salad
was
also
fresh
and
tasty,
although
the
dressing
was
more
akin
to
a
French
dressing,
rather
than
Italian.
The
children's
meals
however
could
do
with
improvement;
the
penne
bolognese
was
overpowered
by
the
taste
of
celery
and
the
mini
burgers
were
cooked
well,
but
the
buns
were
on
the
tough
side.
Portion
size
was
good
however.
A
good
selection
of
drinks
were
available,
including
mocktails,
which
the
children
love
to
get
involved
with
and
a
decent
wines
selection,
so
dad
was
happy!
Deserts
followed
and
all
of
them
were
top
notch.
A
decent
cup
of
tea
and
a
nice
coffee
finished
off
the
meal
nicely.
Service
was
excellent
all
round
and
the
bill
didn't
offer
any
unnecessary
scares
or
surprises,
so
all
good
there
too.
We
will
definitely
go
again,
but
perhaps
just
be
a
little
more
selective
on
child's
menu
choices.
