Lovely farm and would recommend bringing young children. Lots of animals; cows, chickens, pigs, alpacas, goats, rabbits, a python and peacocks. You could buy feed for the animals which was nice. Rides around farm were fun and lots of seating for lunch. A nice gift shop and fresh eggs and honey available to buy.

Brilliant place for kids. The farm as such is small compared to others I've previously visited. But they do have different play areas for kids like trampolines and a mini golf course. The carousel ride and the spinning cups are free inside. They have a farm shop and cafe at the exit. They do offer free tractor rides as well. They sell one type of feed for all the animals so you don't need to buy different bags. The alpacas like to be hand fed. They have an ice-cream shop near the play area.

Me and my son loved this place. I had expected to spend a couple of hours as it isn't huge, but we were there for nearly 5hrs. Mini golf, bouncy air pillows, play equipment, sand pit, mini fairground rides, animals to feed and pet, tractor rides, cute little baby animals and bunnies to hold/stroke, softplay, café. Quite reasonably priced too! Not all of the fairground rides were in action the day we went, but the queues were non existent, straight on an off which was great for impatient kids. We also went here last Halloween where they had a ghost Hunt and pumpkin patch! Lots of fun!

Well, what can I say? This is my grandson Theos & my favourite place. He loves everything & makes the most of the time we have after school! The go karts especially are his favourite, the animals, bouncy pillows, soft play, crazy golf. So much to do in a compact area. He likes it even more so when Robs there driving the tractor 😊. We've been coming regularly for over 3 years now, it feels like home as we know everyone & thoroughly recommend it for all ages. Brilliant place 😁

Lovely farm with plenty of animals and activities: animal feeding sessions, tractor rides, playground, sandpit, bounce areas, soft play. You can easily spend a whole day packed with fun for your little ones. Always great to be back, especially on a sunny day

A little drab these days (especially in Jan) but can't complain for the price. A few goats, alpacas and sheep but otherwise not much else. Soft play is good, and the kids loved the outdoor bouncy cushion. Only issue for us was that the outdoor bounce cushion says no shoes, but was covered in bird poo. My son trod staight in it, so we had to wet wipe the whole thing down before he could carry on.

Lovely place to take children for a good value day out. They have animals to feed. They have different parks for children to play in. Bouncy pillows are lots of fun. Mini golf course. A merry go round and cup and saucers ride. And soft play all including in the entry price. The biggest bonus it's not massively busy so kids can enjoy themselves without lots of cueing.

For a morning/afternoon out with young children, Woodside is okay. There's a few small petting farm animals, indoor softplay, miniture golf, an outside play area, a short tractor ride, and a miniture fair ride. The farm shop is well stocked. Cafe on site. Toilets. Wheelchair friendly. Friendly staff. 4 stars because although the little ones don't notice, it really does need a freshen up. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little rainy on/off, but it was still warm, and there was hardly anyone there. It's expensive for what it is (slightly cheaper if you pre book online), which is a shame as it has so much potential and could be worth the price with a bit of tlc.

First time we tried to come here it was closed with a sign in the carpark apologising. Overall positive experience with plenty of goats in particular. It was very quiet even for a weekend.

Great for the kids, 5yrs and 2yrs. Get there early if you want to feed hungry animals. We got there at lunch and didn't manage to finish one bag of animal food, they were all full up! Still had fun. Nice little kids fair rides and play areas too.

We visited recently with our 6month old, and although we did not expect him to be able to do much we were really disappointed with how little there was to do in general. We paid nearly £30 for 2 adults (baby was free) and they have limited number of animal, goats being the primary animals. There was the indoor barn with play area and outside play area but local parks are generally better. Mead open farm is far better and value for money, I would recommend anyone travel over visiting Woodside.

Highly recommend for a fun birthday party or just a day out with kids. We celebrated our son’s 3rd birthday and was amazing! Children had a day full of fun, facilities to play indoors and outdoors! Also, loads of animals to see and feed! The party room was clean and ready for our guest at the agreed time and all the staff very friendly and approachable! Thank you all!

Absolute gem of a place. First time visiting today and I wasn't disappointed. If you have kids then this is definitely a good afternoon out. They have something for all ages, from tea cup ride to mini golf. Alot of animals out today and the fact you can feed them is a definite bonus. The shop at the end is small, but still has a good few items in. Would recommend going and I would definitely be returning.

Absolutely fabulous experience for my 4.5yr old twins today. We spent almost 4hrs here. I couldn't fault the place on anything. Such a range of things to do, everything felt very safe from a covid perspective and the children were entertained from start to finish. Utterly brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful day

Great place for kids Lots to do. There is a nice amount of animals to look at and feed, as well as hands on petting. There are also really good outdoor play areas and also a nice indoor soft play.

Small but sweet farm. There was a Chairoplane swing ride with unlimited goes, which the children loved! Plenty of hand wash stations once you've fed the animals and a good soft play area and outdoor playground with jumping pillows as well. Fun for the children!

It's OK, good for under 6's as they don't expect much. It's very run down and the crazy golf is barely hanging on, it's in terrible condition. The rides there are ancient, luckily one of them has been taken away to be renovated. Kids enjoyed the soft play area and the pen where you can hold the animals. I think kids older than this, you'll find they get bored very easily there.

This a lovely little farm with many basic animals, you can touch them and feed them. It is great for children aged to 6. Play area, picnic area, bouncy pillows. Toilets everywhere, a shop, and a car park.

A really good place to take the kids to, they have soft play, tractor rides, pedaling kart plus the animals, which are friendly and keen to be fed.

Very good way to spend several hours with an almost 4 year old. Tractor rides. Merry-go-round and teacups rides. Meet young goats (kids), rabbits and little chicks. Indoor soft play and cafe. Bouncy pillows (sort of trampolines and very safe), outdoor play areas and lots of animals to see. Well worth seeing and good value.

Over the past few years, we have been coming here with the grandchildren, & they love it! Plenty for them to do, they absolutely loved the gaint pillows, plenty of fun things to play, sand pit, park with swings, slide etc, a tractor train, crazy golf! plenty of animals, unfortunately, the aviary was closed off, due to bird flu, the staff are wonderful, polite and cheerful, we will be going back again soon in the summer months. Would recommend ( book online )

Fantastic day out. Spent five hours there. Worth every penny. Kids loved it, they were able to pet young animals, visit a arrange of animals, play in a soft play, on bikes, bouncy hill, on a carrosel. Truly fab day.

A small, cosy, family-run farm where you can get to meet all the animals. We went on a particularly windy day and it was very quiet, so pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. There's ample parking available and small cafe on-site with a small petting zoo. note the petting zoo is open at various times throughout the day and has bunnies, guinea pigs etc. plus some reptiles behind glass. My favourite residents were definitely the alpacas, they're always full of character and so lively!

This farm has a variety of animals, some you can feed, and all of them you can interact with. There is food which is free for the first packet, and £2 for any others you want to buy, which is very reasonable. There is a fun play area which me and my friend played in, good for keeping kids entertained. Lots of seating and an indoor area if it's too wet and a mini-golf area. The staff are very kind, and are very patient with you. You can go into an area with animals and play with them for a good 10-15 minutes if nobody is waiting. Very well accommodated, and entrance fee is a very reasonable too, for what you get (which is a lot). 100% recommend!

A little bit smaller than I anticipated. 2-3 hours rather than a half day experience. But plenty of animals for the kids to get up close to. Animal feed £2 a bag and one bag is plenty. Nice cafe and soft play area. All round, decent few hours fun for families with little ones: probably up to 7/8

Great provision for kids probably between ages 2 and 10. Lots of outdoor play equipment, rides as well as the cafe and indoor soft play. The mini golf is in need of a bit of tlc and the general areas need some updating but overall its a reasonably priced day out for young kids with lots to play on.

  • 4/5 Sophie S. 2 years ago on Google
Perfect for a morning or afternoon with young children. Still very quaint although lots to do. Love feeding the animals, the two traditional fairground rides, bounce pillows and updated park area. The indoor softplay is also very good. The cafe could benefit from some updating. Overall fab and a lovely place to be.
