Lovely old house with a very good tour guide. Only open afternoons during August and bank holiday in may. Also enjoyed afternoon tea in the garden centre a stone's throw away from the house.

I went for a 15 kms hike around Jubilee river when came across Dorney court . The church in my pictures is St James the Less Church - This historic church dates from the 12th Century and has been the local parish church since that time. The church retains many features from the past including a West Gallery and a family pew. The tower was added in Tudor times and the porch was built in 1661 to celebrate the birth of Lady Anne Palmer. Dorney court itself was closed to public due to pandemic .

The gardens weren't at the best due to the drought, but still nice. The gardens although nice aren't really the focal point of this place. It's the house itself that really captures the lime light. You have to go round on a guided tour which is around an hour or so. The guides are really knowable and bring the place to life. It's a lovely home which is still lived in. There is lot's of interesting bits in the house with lots of filming and family life evidence on display.

Limited annual entry due to still being the family home. However, a very unique experience to have the Lord of the Manor (James) greet you at the front door.

As a supplier, Dorney Court was wonderful to work with! Anna and James were incredibly sweet and organized - and the venue is absolutely stunning! Would not hesitate to recommend to the other event planners we work with.

Wow, what a wonderful piece of history we have the privilege to see and learn about. Anna and James are the perfect hosts and our tour guide was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and the house, well, do go and see for yourself as its like being transported back in time. An absolute must see.

This place is slightly difficult to find. You should look for the entrance which is long and lights in the distance. Half way through there is an electric gate with a gate keeper. We could not find allocated parking so parked where we could. Walk around the back of the building to a lift which takes you to 3rd floor where events are held. Lift will take a wheelchair comfortably. Up on the 3rd floor as you leave the lift you'll find yourself on a lit up balcony which has tables and chairs. There are two double doors either end taking you into the events room where there are more tables and chairs, a dance floor and a bar. Things that were disappointing include nothing lit up showing views outside, no decorations, the couple whos party it was spent a fortune hiring table decorations and large items for photo opertunities. Plastic plates, knives and forks and tumblers were provided. Food was OK and staff were helpful and friendly. I personally feel there are much nicer places to have your wedding reception, however, it is your choice!

Beautiful little gem hidden away just outside of Windsor. It's definitely worth a visit. The tour of the house is really insightful and fascinating. Remember to take cash - they don't accept cards to pay for the house entry!

A very pretty specimen of old English heritage, well preserved and beautifully surrounded. The perfect site for a familly picnic,a 5 a side football,or a kite flying test with your children. The advantage of a wide car park on the green with le lack of shade that goes with it during the summer months...

Beautiful house. A lovely tour guide to show you around with lots of information about the family who live and lived there. Just needed a bit more time in each room after the guide had spoken to have a quick look yourself before moving on. It would be good if a more in-depth tour was on offer with more historical info for the history buffs because there is a lot to see in each room. Gardens very well kept. Great to have the nearby garden centre cafe to pop to for a nice tea and cake and lunch. A nice, enjoyable day trip.

A superb historic venue with excellent facilities, friendly & helpful staff. I conducted a Hindu Wedding ceremony of Nina to Tim .... Highly recommend this venue for any functions -- ample of carparking spaces.

👍 Nice walk that can be short or long dependent on the routes you take. Info boards on the birds and nature that you can see in the area and some designated areas for bird watching. Can see Windsor Castle off in the distance. Decent paths for buggies/wheelchairs. Picnic tables and benches dotted aroun...
