Talking only about golf course Layout was great! This place has a lot of potential. And we played very late in the day and only paid £15 for 18 holes. The value is fantastic. There are some really great golf holes here. Well worth a visit But don’t expect perfect greens and teeboxes. Negatives would be overall condition. It’s okay. But not great. Greens were okay. But can see them getting better in the summer, they were just a bit uncut and bobbly. But for £15 worth It’s not bad, there are better greens in the area without a doubt. But then you looking at double if not triple the green fee. The only real negative which I can see them easily fixing over a winter period were the tee-boxes. Really uneven! Seems to have been top dressed for years on end, but only where the divots normally occur(middle of tee box) so has now had the effect of doming just about every tee box, you rarely get and even tee shot. Which is a shame. Still worth a visit. The layout is fun and it’s £15 for 18 holes if you time the tee off right! Can’t ask for any cheaper than that around Hertfordshire.

It's ok.... Nice sized private venue room. If you hire this out for a private event, it is separate and independent from the main golfers area. Complete with its own bar and toilets. The buffet food they offer is tasty, the tea and coffee however is very bland. You know the type, a big flask, and a shared pot of milk and a shared sugar bowl. Always gets messy, and never really hot.

Good quality pay and play course. Front 9 challenging, back 9 seems somehow easier - I might have just warmed up.

All ages and levels. Has 9-hole golf course with opportunity to play footgolf.

Recently been taken over by another company and it is already apparent that they are just in it to make money. The par 3 course might as well have potatoes growing on it and the main course has been massively neglected. Almost all the bunkers need some serious work, they are all far too compacted. Greens have had some sort of disease and haven't been treated so are still not running true. Some of the rough is far too long. You can be just off the fairway and spend far too long searching for a ball holding up play. The tee boxes are all terrible, with no exceptions. Even the ones recently done are already tired. Not one of them is flat they are all domed. We have started to notice that holes are not being cut for the weekends. With greens looking seedy and holes looking small where the grass is overgrown.

Golf course really good condition considering how wet it's been, breakfast better than a lot of clubs we go to.

Had difficulty finding this venue for a celebration party, but when inside, was worth the journey. Pleasant staff, buffet was plentiful, would recommend the function room for a celebration.

PAR 3 COURSE Please note that all the picture you see below are not the fairways, they're the greens! Entirely unplayable and the fact they can charge you whilst knowing how unplayable they are is a joke. Some greens were even 80% underwater but that was on the first and i didnt photograph as i though it would be a one off... i was wrong. Don't pay money to play this par three, you're better off not playing.

Friendly golf club with very good main course, friendly staff and competitive prices compared to rest of the area. Nice food too. The Par 3 is now in much better condition than a year ago, and it's a nice relaxing place to practice; some of the trees especially on holes 3 and 8 need cutting back as they cross over the approach and you can't pitch the ball into the greens otherwise.

Turned up to play footgolf ( as the website didnt state it was necessary to bring balls ) and was rudely spoken to by the staff who insisted the website stated it was necessary to bring footballs. I then had to go buy footballs and came back and was charged more than the price was advertised on the website. The course was extremely difficult to navigate with minimal fairways, long grass, pinecone's ( which nearly broke my daughter's ankle ) and other debris. It was also impossible to get to the site on foot with no pathways, we had to walk on roads. Will definitely not be coming back... I would put 0 stars if I could! ( AVOID )

Fantastic staff and great food. Golf course is average at best. Bunkers are just traps with 2mm of Sand to play out of ,the rest is solid. Greens are very good but rest is poor . Most of the tees are not even on a level surface. I know it's council run but so is stockwood Park and that is in much better condition.
