    Getting the van went well and the staff were nice unfortunately they charged me excess cover when I had paid for it already when I booked everything online. So they debited from my account for something I had already paid for out of the blue and basically stole money from me. Its been a few days now and I have yet to receive my money back. I have confirmation email saying I had paid it alreadyand emailed it to the branch as proof so why cant I recieve my money back?

As we was a late collection 17.00 we just went home and I thought Iā€™d call in the morning. In the morning we noticed the back tire was completely flat (canā€™t drive) so I called them. Only for them to say ā€œI must have done it or go to a quick fit and sort yourself!! Which o couldnā€™t do because it couldnā€™t be moved. I called many times talking To different people each and everyone was rude and unhelpful. I then spoke to Scott who said heā€™d try and sort as we was driving to Spain in 12hours. Only for him to be just as unhelpful as the others. The best they could offer was somebody to sort the next day ā€œmaybeā€ I had to call a company to get it sorted myself. I also got them to check the tyres 2 out of 4 was well under the psi (see pictures) Enterprise was quick to inform me they wouldnā€™t pay for this service. They have provided a van unfit for use!! Absolutely disgraceful service. I will be taking this matter further.

    Made a phone call thought everything was OK! Got over there only for them to tell me I couldn't hire a car as my check was declined!! Was told that it was probably cos my house bills are in my partners name!! Took me 3 hours round trip there and back walking and train wasn't happy. And to be honest the two youngsters on the desk weren't very helpful and could youse some people skills!! And a smile goes along way!! Gave them 1 star as couldn't leave a review with none.

    Excellent service and friendly staff. We've rented from Stevenage a number of times now and have been completely impressed with the quality of service we've received. The only downside is that, upon returning vehicles, we're often asked if we'd be willing to finish a service survey, via email. I'd be more than happy to, however, have yet to actually receive one, haha. Until then, thanks again, all! Top notch service.

    I was twice told by Enterprise Head Office that their Stevenage branch would give me a courtesy car and that they would phone me. They didn't, so I phoned them (3 days after the first call). apparently, because they have given all their cars to the police in connection with the Queen's death, they have no car for me.

    VERY Poor Customer service by a Manger named Scott, after trying to explain the situation and things I was told on the day of collection, I was constantly interrupted and ignored making me very frustratedā€¦ after which tried charging me Ā£250 for a small damages I was told not to worry about on the day of collection.. When I got my camera out for proof of such vile behaviour FROM A MANGER he started telling me I wasnā€™t able to record him and started ignoring me while the whole situation was on going Edited - 15 November Still an on going thing even the customer support donā€™t careā€¦

    I would have given 5* to this branch and the only reason for 4 is not down to the branch but more the rather excessive excess damage charges. Anyway, that aside, great service, very efficient and they actually get back to you. They were very busy but still managed to get through everything quickly. It's possibly not much of a comparison given the dire service from their nearby main competition with a similar coloured logo but I would happily rent from this branch again.

    DESPICABLE!!! After using branches across Herts for 1 year, totalling 16k in hire charges, we have been refused a 3 day hire on a car because previously we have had a 28 day hire at Welwyn Garden city who have just confirmed they can do a 3 day hire no issues but only have large vans!! The manager Jasmin customer service skills are embarrassingly bad! Not only has she put me on hold for 30 minutes whilst she tries to fabricate contractual terms which she should know off hand! 37 minutes now and sheā€™s left me on hold and Iā€™ve called in the branch who have confirmed sheā€™s left me on hold to go and speak to another customer! I will be speaking to the regional managers and financial ombudsman services so this does not happen to someone else! Iā€™m horrified that managers in enterprise are this poorly trained, lie to customers and offer long term customers this kind of poor service!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!

    As a frequent traveler from Canada to the UK, I have relied on Car Rental Enterprise for my transportation needs on numerous occasions. However, my most recent encounter with the company left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. In what seemed like a blatant display of greed, they quoted me a seemingly reasonable price of $542 for my rental, only to shockingly demand $728 upon my arrival. Arriving in the UK with plans to visit my sick father, I had hoped for a smooth and hassle-free experience. Regrettably, Car Rental Enterprise shattered those expectations by resorting to unfair practices. Their deceptive tactic of showcasing a lower initial price, only to inflate it during the currency exchange, was not only unprofessional but also a clear display of dishonesty. This unexpected turn of events not only left me feeling deceived but also resulted in the loss of an entire day of my travel itinerary. Instead of being able to visit my ailing father promptly, I found myself caught in an unpleasant and time-consuming dispute over exorbitant charges. Such unscrupulous behavior raises serious concerns about Car Rental Enterprise's commitment to customer satisfaction and integrity. A company that operates in such a manner is far from being considered reliable or trustworthy. When businesses prioritize profits over customer well-being, it leaves a lasting negative impression that is hard to overlook. In light of my disappointing experience, I strongly question the suitability of Car Rental Enterprise for conducting fair and ethical business.     Great service from Stevenage enterprise. Picked up from home by Cerys who was really friendly. Had a good experience with the car throughout the three days I had it. When I went to take it back, it was checked in by Sam, another professional, friendly member of the team. He was also able to drive me to pick up my car from the garage which was a bonus. Process was all smooth with no hassle.

    Fantastic staff who really went the extra mile to sort out a lovely car for our wedding and even gave us a card. Top service and Iā€™d like to thank them for everything they did for us. Unfortunately I canā€™t give 5 as I think the company policy on informing you of the massive damage excess (Ā£1750) when youā€™re pretty much ready to get in the car is a bit of a con. Yes you can take out a waiver, which I did, but the price youā€™re quoted isnā€™t really a true reflection of what you pay unless you are brave enough to drive one of their cars knowing that chipping the windscreen will cost you the best part of two grand. Itā€™s a convenient and efficient pickup location which is great and their vehicles are really good. Have also rented a van from them before. Staff - five stars. Vehicles - five stars. Company - two stars.

    Pretty good experience here last year. Car was clean and about what I expected. The place itself is a bit awkward to get to by foot I found but other than that I had no complaints

    We had a car delivered to Hitchin Audi while our car was being repaired. The hired car delivered (nissan qashqai) smelt strongly of smoke. It was obvious the guy who dropped it off had just had a cigarette and thought leaving the windows open would work. I told him I was severely asthmatic and he said he couldn't smell anything. He also left the engine running the whole time he spoke and it was only when he began talking about the car while walking around we told him we can't hear you over the engine youā€™ve left running, turn the engine off and stop wasting fuel. When we returned the car with a full tank (filled up locally) I was then charged a fuel fine. Ironic right? No explanation, just a straight charge on my card. Never again will we be using Enterprise. Weā€™ve used them before when weā€™ve had car repairs booked and had no issues. But itā€™s clear there is no respect for those with a genuine medical condition and no care for the environment at all. They've seemed to hire a bunch of children who see it all as a game. The person dealing with us also told us if anything happens to the car we have to use our third party insurance cover from our own car policy to cover the damages. He then took an extra pound transaction over the phone with someone else at the office and couldnā€™t explain what he was charging us extra for outside a showroom. It was genuinely embarrassing and uncomfortable. It all felt fraudulent from the start and this was then confirmed when we were surprised with a fuel fine 2 days later.

    If I ever rented from enterprise again I would spend at least 30 mins inspecting the van before hand and take 50 pics as Stevenage entersprise will try and penalise you for any damage they can find. Trust me. Disgusting behaviour on their part.

    Give my girl Jada a pay rise! I hired a car that came with mechanical issues, RAC had to be called, messed up my whole day & plans BUT the help and support I received from my girl was second to none. Thank you for everything sweetheart!

    Really unhelpful staff. Took our booking to then say we werenā€™t registered at the address. Only lived there for 20 years. No explanation as to what database theyā€™re searching and no solutions given. Donā€™t waste your time. Book elsewhere

    I used Enterprise Stevenage to move house. I had the booking from 12pm Friday to 12pm Saturday. When I picked the van up I had reserved the van wasn't there so they gave me a replacement van which was bigger than I requested. Now this was a good thing as It was a Luton van but had next to no fuel in. Because of fuel prices we now have to estimate how much fuel we use which is very difficult and hope there is a fuel station near by. Now I finished using the van on the Friday so I handed the van back to the Stevenage branch at 6pm on the day I booked it and there was nowhere to park so I parked it as close by as I could which was the companynext door. A few weeks later I received a traffic violation and got charged Ā£35 because Enterprise didn't move the vehicle in time. The violation was timed at 10:38 on the Saturday. Please be aware because I was not helped by Enterprise but basically not helped as they had no proof I dropped it off early. They just said the violation was during my booking. So in all with fuel I paid Ā£50 more for this booking. I would recommend using a hire car company with big enough grounds to drop your vehicle off whenever necessary with no comebacks.

    5 starts, I rented Mercedes Sprinter for one day, when I pick it up I took pictures to damages and the same when I drooped it off, but I didn't need it because they was profesional and they knew about every single scratch, nice guys there and good vans to rent, I received the deposit back in 2 days so is very good. Thanks a lot Enterprise

    The whole team are great and go the extra mile. (No pun intended) Kept us informed and even upgraded but paid agreed price. One thing I would like to see is Sunday opening to return hire vehicles. I do think in a day & age Seven days a week is fair
