Highly recommend ! Went last week for the meerkat experience Absolutely loved it Although only a small centre they had a few things we'd never seen before like very vocal kookaburras and a skunk The keepers were all very helpful and knowledgeable about the animals and stood with us telling us all about them General entry to the centre is only £2 and the meerkat experience was £30 per person The meerkat experience was great You spend 30 mins inside their enclosure with them and the keeper They are very friendly and inquisitive and climb all over you and at the end you get to feed them a bowl of vegetables There are several animal talks during the day that are free so there is always something going on Outside of the centre in the park is a cafe which we went to and had lunch Will definitely be going back

Nice little nature centre. Hence price of £2 and welcoming staff. Great for kids if you visiting Cedars park. The shows are timed so don’t miss them. There is not a lot of animals to see but you will definitely enjoy your visit.

Really beautiful well kept park. The nature corner was brilliant. The staff friendly, knowledgeable and the animals great! Although it is a small area the proximity you get to the animals makes up for the smallness of the area. The talks throughout the day and the option to come and go is perfect for families. Cafe friendly with an excellent choice of food, drinks and ice creams. We really enjoyed our visit to the park in its entirety.

Lovely place to visit with the family. And only £2 each for the entire day - you can go out and return any time that day. Nice selection of animals and knowledgeable staff who give talks a few times through the day. The lady on the front desk was also really friendly! Set in a really nice park for walks, picnics and for the kids to play

Nice little zoo with lovely staff explaining a lot about the animals there. My friend and I booked the Meet the Meerkats experience and we absolutely loved it. They are such cute and interesting animals. I really enjoyed my encounter with them.

We loved this place. Welcoming, friendly staff. So much to do and one of the few places that doesn’t try to extract money from you at every turn. Fair entry price and free parking. Definitely coming back.

Diverse selection of animals that are lovingly looked after, in terms of being a miniature zoo. The area is managed very well with respect to COVID; guidelines are all clearly set out and explained without making you feel unduly restricted. Perfect way to pass the time while contributing to the community, especially with the very reasonable price of admission.

My friends got me a VIP tour of Cedars Nature Centre as a gift and I had such a lovely time. We were given a tour of all the animal enclosures and saw some unusual animals including Zorillas and Brazilian guinea pigs! We were able to interact with some of the animals, including the meerkats, skunk, armadillo and others. Rebecca who showed us around was so friendly and informative and was happy to answer any questions we had. A really enjoyable experience!

It's definitely worth visiting this lovely little place. Cheap entry and worth every penny. Staff are super nice. Spoke to one volunteer who was feeding a tiny hedgehog called pinky. 100% recommended

Lovely little zoo. It is quite small but good entertainment for about 45-60 minutes. I took my elderly disabled mother here and she enjoyed it. Bargain entry price of £2.40 and carers go free. Nicely accessible for people with mobility issues.

An excellent little animal park located inside cedars park. Cheap to get in with a small but varied selection of animals. I'd recommended the meerkats and the python as standouts. The various shows they put on throughout the day are worth watching. Very enjoyable and worth visiting especially with children.

Our visit to Cedars Nature Centre was nothing short of extraordinary. The zookeeper experience, in particular, was a highlight that will be remembered for years to come. The opportunity to get up close with a diverse array of creatures such as rats, skunks, lizards, a tortoise, and meerkats was exhilarating and educational at the same time. The staff was knowledgeable, passionate, and made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience. From children to adults, anyone with a curiosity for animals would find this experience enriching. A solid 10/10 for an incredible day at Cedars Nature Centre!

Nice park, could do with some play equipment for children. The mound keeps getting damaged because children use it as playground because there is nothing else there to play with. You have to bring your own.

Really nice place to visit, it has friendly staff and some interesting animals! There's a café just around the corner that does really good drinks and snacks too!

A great small but growing collection of familiar and unusual animals, free entry (donation encouraged), just outside Cheshunt. Very cooperative staff and volunteers help to explain the work they are doing. Highly recommended for families and fans of unusual animals. Cafe and toilets located nearby, within the same park.

Oh this is on my doorstep. 4 chn and such a fantastic day out. Excellent age appropriate talks at the petting zoo. The maze was loads of fun. The cafe reasonable and tasty. We are going back tomorrow as it rained. I will definitely try to organise a school trip.

Great mini zoo, with friendly and very informative staff. Have taken the 2-4 year old there twice a year and she loves visiting to see the animals up close. One of the cheapest hour of animal fun you will find 😊
