Never been hear before but it's such a gem of a fish shop, and they has a lovely Cafe shop that do some nice tasting drinks. If your looking for good quality fish shop for sticking your tank from tropical to marine tank I highly recommend this place. They also have pond stocking and there amazing specimens.

Immaculate aquatic shop. Livestock are well cared for in well kept aquariums. Lots of space down the aisles which means its good for pram/wheelchair access. Also a lovely cafe on site which is a bonus!

I have never ever seen fish look so unhappy, many fish were dead in tanks, I took video footage of one group of fish eating a dead fish in one of the tanks. Many of the tropical fish were just lying on the floor of the tank just looking so sad, and no energy. We went on 31st January and this was all pointed out to the staff. Very sad state of affairs.

Bought a pond liner and some underlay today. The two staff members that helped me were very helpful and friendly. Very impressed with the service considering they were under staffed. Great store. Great prices.

Been shopping here for many years, in excess of a decade. I won’t be returning again as I phoned up with a simple request for help to look at some fecal matter under their microscope and help me identify if there is a parasite. They have a microscope but were not at all open to helping. The person I spoke to didn’t understand and went to ask someone else. That someone else said no without coming to the phone and asking any details. I am not asking them to do scrapings, slides etc, I am just trying to save myself £70/80 on a microscope as a regular customer. I have spent thousands in the shop over the years and will never return again. I’d recommend Advanced Aquarium Consultancy for marine, and Lee Valley Aquatics for tropical / pond. Both are a drive away but they are worth the drive for customer orientated knowledgeable staff who don’t treat customers as an inconvenience, and are honest. As a self employed individual I’m still in shock at how I’ve been treated. Consumer experience is everything

Went to have a look for ideas for aquarium fish and they have a good selection here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a selection of snakes, frogs, lizards, etc. Plus 2 armadillos ♥️ What lets the place down (and removal of a star) is housekeeping. The disabled toilet is awful - needs a deep clean. The floors are muddy and dirty. I believe they had a flood at the premises, but I can't see how that affected the loo. I will return (the cafe is great) but hope things have improved cleanliness wise.

Staff just stand around talking to each other and getting in the way. Many of the tanks were full of dead fish and lots of the other fish looked unhappy/lethargic. Bought guppies here around a year ago and they all died within 5 months - none of our other fish from other stores have died. Very disappointing.

Very high quality cold water, tropical and marine fish. Also outstanding Koi fish outside. Friendly staff and happy to answer any questions. Definitely going back soon. Would very highly recommend!

Visited today for some new 32mm pipe. Better quality than previously purchased online. Visibly thicker and stronger. Great customer service by Ellis. Was very helpful and professional despite being super busy. Credit to the company.

Certainly the place to go for honest advice. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and take time to talk to you. The shop was well stocked and there was a large selection of fish. I will definitely be returning here. The staff that helped me were Kiana and Shaun, a big thank you for your kindness. I really appreciated it.

Love going here to see the fish and other animals they have for sale, but mostly go to buy my parrots toys as its the best place for the best toys for my bird! Not to expensive friendly staff and very helpful..

A truly wonderful place to visit for just about anything aquarium oriented. Huge choice of tropical cold water and marine. Just about every accessory you may desire is available and on top of that great staff. There is easy access for disabled people a large car park though entrance is narrow if 2 cars meet. There is even a cafe now that cater for most including some vegetarian and vegan. again with easy access and clean toilets.

Still a great shop now with a purpose built cafe. Only 2 issues would be the car park, very uneven and very much flooded majority of the time and the shop is beginning to show its age.

I visited many years ago , went back the other day and can only say they have made it so much better (even though it was really good before). Really well laid out , a great range and friendly helpful staff definitely one of if not the best aquatics shops in the UK.cant wait to visit again

Well not soo perfect aquatics , Koi part is good , but tropicals are way down to what they used to be , and why have you just abomdened the big pond which was a big feature, but now closed . Only good thing about this place now is the caffee.

We love this place. Gorgeous fish, tanks, the koi carp are stunning and the new tearoom is our new local go-to for excellent Americano and my hot choc!

Great range of fish and accessories. Plenty of parking. It was a quick visit so didn't get to see the critters in the pet area... Well worth a visit 😊

just drove from milton keynes 40mins drive to find over priced tropical fish 3x time more expensive than last time i went £2.99 for one neon tetra is a disgrace then we thought we would go to the cafe to get a milkdhake but they had no icecream what a waste of time and fuel safe to say i will never go back there again

I brought a betta filter tried for over 2 hours and it would not work properly. Brought it back to store best day they don't like to give refunds and were insistent on testing it told me if it was OK I could not have a refund which would leave me with a filter that didn't work properly and would not be suitable for my tank. There is no sign up saying that testing is a requirement I was told when buying refunds were not a problem. They say one thing and do another that also have different prices in store compared to website. I will not recommend them as a seller.

Hi we have been coming here since it opened in January 2022 we have had various lunches and breakfasts. Today was really poor my wife had pancakes which were overcooked then they replaced them and the second lot were still hard and overcooked I had a cooked breakfast and the beans had been microwaved to death . The sausages were cheap not their usual standard it was just slapped on a plate there was no pride in it. We are very disappointed with it . It's now becoming a greasy spoon cafe cheap food at bigger prices. So come on guys put the love and pride back into it. You will lose customers if you don't we are two of them. Not happy 😁😁

I know nothing about Tropical fish, so l am not going to offer up anything on the merits of it on that front, other than to say they had a wide selection of tanks and fish for sale, so l would think it a worthy visit for anyone seeking to buy tropical fish, or equipment.

I come here regularly to buy some aquarium fish and I find this place to be good. When I notice any fish to be sick, and when I tell them they react guick and put them in quarantine, they dont sell sick fish. I would highly recommend Harry, who always serves with a smile, and he gives a good advice fish and plant to a specific aquarium. So when you don't know, he will explain well to you. I always ask him to help me out and would like him to be distinction for his services. The fish I bought for here i got till this day and they are healthy and happy.I would again highly recommend perfect aquarium Ltd to enyone.

I am a school teacher and I set up a 200L tank in my classroom a few weeks ago. It currently has 13 small fish in it. I wanted to increase the stock. I visited today as I was told that they had a 30% sale on tropical fish. I was hoping that I could purchase the fish today, but actually collect them tomorrow after school as I can obviously not access the school during the weekend. I was told that even if I paid for them today, then I would have to take them today otherwise I would not get the discount. Unfortunately for them, they have missed out on quite a large sale as I will be purchasing all of my fish elsewhere now and in the future, even though this is the closest fish place to my school.

Having started out my tropical adventure a year ago and then upgrading I have purchased everything from this company. Always friendly with great caring advise. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Just bought some platy tropical fish which were on a offer of buy 6 and get one extra fish free to arrive home and find I have only got 6 fish. I didn’t think I should have to check that the staff can count to seven. Feel very disappointed and will not buy my fish at perfect aquatics in the future. I feel I have been cheated.

This is my second time on visiting Perfect Aquatics only this time we decided to have some lunch in the Koi Cafe, the food was yummy and the staff were friendly and gave excellent service. We then went across to buy some tropical fish, so glad we did as there was an extensive range of fishes available that made choosing very hard. We opted for 6x Swordtail fishes and were given 1 extra for free. Thank you for the staff member who served me taking great care on collecting and bagging the fishes up causing little to no distress to the fishes. A lovely day out thank you Perfect Aquatics I shall be returning very often. Content

Masses of aquatic equipment and fish. Plus loads of exotic and household pets. Good coffee shop with simple but good menu. 3 stars because prices in shop a bit high, but cafe great value and kids love going, just for a look around.

Very helpful staff. That is the younger members. Bought a pond liner and got some great tips / advise. Great value too. Much better quality than amazon and ebay products

It's not a bad place and the kids liked looking at the animals. However, I feel in recent years this place has lost its soul. I don't understand the split of the fish with the other animals surely the 2 sides of the business could still work together instead of having 2 separate entrances. The fish prices seem to have gone up compared to local competition. You do get a good experience and advice from the staff I've seen there.

Lovely helpful staff got 2 guinea pigs who looked so well cared for. The animals look happy clean. Lovely the furry feet chickens

First time here went with family as I have a pond in London. Omg the fish are really expensive but they are koi so some of them maybe worth it

Not disabled friendly! For starters they carpark is full of gravel and pebbles (just about managed to get in one of the buildings and my wheelchair kept getting stuck). THEN when we finally made it into the shop I could not get up the ramps and the only way I could get up is if I went backwards with a family member pulling me. I could barely turn a corner and the one isle I could fit down was blocked by a leak when we tried to get back out. We were going to go to the other side but to entrance to the other side in-store was shut, so when we tried to go through the car park my chair could barely move due to the gravel/rocks. So we ended up going home and could not look through the shop because we couldn't get to it!

Amazing place! I have been visiting and buying from here for years, its the only place I would recommend for pets, specifically Marine fish and equipment. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and really helpful.

Was pleasantly surprised at the broad ranch of products stocked in the shop. I have visited many aquatic shops in my time but have never visited one such as this. It really is a ONE STOP SHOP for all your aquatic needs. It was also nice stopping off at the newly opened Koi Cafe onsite. I had certainly worked up an appetite after shopping.

Ok. Its looking rite shabby as you enter . Not many bird choice at all! Very tight in bird area. I only just scraped in with a light mobility scooter ! If people are behind you ,you have to squash up against the cages to let them go past . Isles are narrow ! Make it Bigger !! Get more livestock !! Carpark still has HUGE puddles and i mean huge ! Filthy dirty just grotty the car park area. Inside isnt much cleaner !

Lovely busy place lots to see and buy the only problem I have had if when you buy live fish food your need to know how old it is. I bought blood worms and when I got home I put them in a jar and in their own water which was very red and worms dead.

Terrible place run down. We had to return faulty equipment. Spoke to a young lady this morning and she was helpful BUTwhenwe gottherethe elderly man had a stinking attitude.

Fish and equipment central, you can't ask for more what ever your project.. Loved looking around this place. The birds are too cute and very chatty. All the animals are well looked after. I will be back. The staff are very helpful.

A good shop with an extensive stock of fish for aquariums and ponds, and an extensive stock of equipment. Definitely worth a visit for aquarists.

They stock everything you need for ponds, tropical and marine tanks. Plenty of tank designs on display, water quality appeared excellent and fish well-cared for when we visited. Well-organised shop.

I tend to use this shop for my river shrimp feeder purchases, also they sell brine shrimp and bloodworm. And a really nice little coffee shop too

The people who work there have a wealth of knowledge. So if you're not sure about something... that's the place to go. Everything is set up beautifully... from the fish right down to the hamsters 😊
