A
week
ago
today,
was
sold
a
supposed
pair
of
apistogramas,
6
penguin
tetras
and
6
harlequins.
I
told
them
about
where
I
was
putting
them
in,
and
that
obviously
they
would
be
in
the
same
tank.
After
the
first
night
I
go
to
check
on
them
and
there’s
2
penguin
tetras
dead,
with
literal
chunks
taken
out
of
them,
the
female
apistograma
had
a
white
eye
(
scar
)
so
I
removed
the
male
thinking
that
it
would
solve
the
issue.
The
following
2-3
days
4
more
died,
including
one
out
of
my
2
original
tetras.
All
looking
damaged.
The
tank
doesn’t
have
anywhere
where
they
could
get
stuck,
and
the
pump
is
in
a
separate
chamber.
The
apistograma
i
had
put
in
my
spare
tank
then
died,
on
Thursday.
Before
dying
(
when
I
put
it
in
the
spare
tank
)
it
already
had
a
bulging
eye
and
some
sort
of
white
-
yellowish
mucus
on
its
body,
it
looked
really
discoloured
compared
to
what
they’re
meant
to
look
like.
Today,
(
Saturday
)
the
other
apistograma
was
found
dead,
1
completely
white,
bulging
eye
and
the
same
thing
as
the
other
fish,
a
layer
of
weird
mucus
that
I’ve
never
seen
on
fish
before.
They
looked
recently
dead
so
the
mucus
was
not
from
them
passing
as
there
was
also
some
when
I
took
the
male
out
(
when
alive
)
Now
out
of
the
14
fish
in
that
tank,
there
are
3
left.
£70
down
the
bin
like
that.
Really
disappointed
as
I
was
told
they
were
compatible
and
would
do
fine
in
my
tank.
I
use
reverse
osmosis
water,
had
checked
the
levels
before
going
to
buy
the
fish
and
they
were
perfect,
and
then
after
the
first
couple
died,
there
was
obviously
a
slight
spike
in
ammonia
so
did
a
quick
water
change
and
everything
looked
good
again.
Attached
pic
is
of
one
of
the
fish
when
I
took
it
out.
Really
dissapointed
as
I’ve
been
here
a
couple
times
before
and
would
like
to
get
things
sorted
out.
