My first visit to AAC yesterday and it will definitely not be the last. By far the best aquatic shop i've been to. Tanks were all clean, layout of the shop maximised stock giving a huge choice of goods on offer. Corals were of a very high quality and the fish were in pristine condition. Well fed, great colours. This place is 1 of those little rare gems and well worth a visit.

I finally found my LFS. They are worth the 45min drive. Very helpful staff with the best selection of corals. Very clean too, never found anything dead from dipping their corals in. Their displays are clean, well maintained and parasite free. Can get busy at times. They definitely need a good expanding of their shop front as it can get crowded at times. But it's not so bad. But the best of all, no aggressive sales talk unlike other places. They will not sell you something they think is not right for you. Absolute legends.

Google shouldn't be asking me to do I review on AAC! it should already know that Paul and his merry men/ladies oh and Barry provide us mere reef dorks with an unbelievable shopping experience. They have so much time for all their customers, even me and I work at another shop. Top quality livestock. Dry goods couldn't get any better, they have wide range.

My first visit to AAC today, this shop is one of those rare gems. So impressed with the health of the livestock and there was an exceptional choice of corals & dry goods. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and there was no pressure to buy anything. A well deserved 5 stars 😊

Possibly the best LFS I have ever frequented. If you are looking to set up or even looking for a decent local fish store for the maintenance of your marine reef tank, then this store has it all. My picture doesn’t do the store justice but I set up my tank about a year ago and have bought all hardscaping, coral and fish from them. I am by no means an expert but the staff have helped me when needed and I have successfully setup and maintained my own reef. As mentioned the staff are friendly, knowledgable and professional. The fish and coral are of high quality and the tanks are regularly maintained. I know also of people that travel far and wide to make use of this store so I would highly recommend.

I went to ACC for the first time last week. I'm in the early stages of setting up my new reef systems so couldn't buy anything unfortunately. I have to say, this is by far the cleanest aquatic center I have ever been to and the quality of the livestock, display tanks etc was phenomenal. All of the staff have immense knowledge too

Just an unreal experience every time it gets better and better the staff are great Barry is always so helpful and the lady behind the counter just makes things As simple as they can be! Would totally recommend a trip from any end of the country to visit this spectacular shop if it exists then it’ll be here

OMG what a place !!! Excellent layout spotlessly clean. Great quality coral some nice rare pieces. Superb fish stock. Great staff . Knowledgeable on all their stock . We spent a chunk of money here and was given advise on every piece we bought. We were also shown each piece before we agreed to buy them. Can't really say enough about this place except we'll definitely be back!!!

Went in on a quick visit as I was passing though Harlow and was very very impressed. The range of dry goods and livestock is incredible and I ended up buying a few bits while I was there. I don’t live very near to this shop but am going to travel back down on Sunday to spend more time. Would highly recommend and the knowledge of the staff is top notch. I was like a kid in a sweet shop 😂😂

Amazing store with outstanding service thanks to the highly knowledgeable Barry. Their tanks are really well cared for with a fantastic collection of coral and fish. Worth the one hour drive.

AAC is one of the most helpful and professional shops of any kind I've ever visited. New to the reef aquarium hobby, I've been in there frequently, always with a long list of questions and it's always full of staff who are generous with their time and very clearly drawing on a deep well of knowledge and experience. Compared to most other marine aquarium shops I've visited, AAC is a unusually clean, well lit and well organised with multiple large display tanks and a good selection of livestock and corals that all look healthy, and a fairly broad range of non-livestock equipment etc. They have ethically sourced live rock too, which is pretty hard to come by these days. In general their pricing seems fairly competitive which is brilliant when you factor in the quality of service and free advice you're getting with a visit to the shop. Honestly can't say enough good things about the place - for so long as I stay in the hobby, AAC they've made a loyal customer of me for the long term.

Support your local store!!! (Even if not local) Always approachable and knowledgeable. Amazing selection of fish and corals, both high end and bargains. Picked up 4 sps for £32 the other day, you won't find premium corals for as cheap anywhere else.

Incredible store for corals! Superb advice on tap from a team of experts. Walked out with my wallet a little lighter but my tank is now looking great! 100% will return, despite it being a fair drive for me.

Great place, with amazing staff filled with knowledge. They have really helped me and my son get our first salt water tank up and running.

Been going there for over 4 years and it is always a good experience! Popped in the other day and had a great chat with owner, staff helpful as usual. Purchased some frags and they are now acclimatising ready for positioning!

Absolutely great customer service and an excellent shop. I ordered the Red Sea max nano peninsula online and they even opened up for me to collect on a Monday when they was closed. Very knowledgeable staff and helpful with offers to try and help me out. Cannot rate them highly enough

Went to the store today with my partner, 2 hour drive but very much worth it! Staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Turned pumps off etc for proper viewing and they were very happy to talk all things reef and fish. And obviously we both came out with some amazing stuff! Will definitely be visiting again.

Was working in the area so thought I'd pop in and have a look as I've heard good things about this shop. I have to say this is the best marine shop I've been to Can't beat the quality of the fish and corals and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I'll be back soon!

Updated June 2022 Ive made a couple more visits since my first review and an delighted each time. Sirus has an encyclopedic knowledge of the fish available and the cats they need, always on hand with some care tips. I was treated to a special visit to their propagration room where I could see how they breed and care for corals not ready for sale yet, I saw some truly amazing pieces but not sure how much I should say. These guts have their finger on the pulse! They are surely makes great waves in the industry. I even got a discount on my livestock purchases for being a repeat customer. What can I say, five stars all the way! April 2022 First visit and blown away, amazing beautiful quality stock. Set out cleanly, staff eager to help. Was introduced to Barry who understood my new tank requirements and gave me expert advice, also saved me a few hundred quid on possible bad decisions. I'll be back. Highly recommended July 2022 Another visit this time impressed with the sheer choice these guys have. Also walked out with some great advice for my tank. Keeping their five stars!!

Brilliant service from AAC. informed me that a part wasnt in stock and went above and beyond to make sure as soon as it arrived itll be shipped to me. Then had a bit of trouble with an item being faulty and immediately got it exchanged and was very apologetic about it all. The excellent selection of stock, knowledge of staff and friendly atmosphere is quite frankly second to none. I cannot recommend this store enough.

First time visit and staff are really friendly and helpful. When we got there it was empty but soon became very busy. Great selection of fish and corals. Will definitely have to visit again
