Great pet shop bought a replacement cat flap that was an exact one as the original cost me £31 anglia windows wanted a£110 for the same thing well done.

Lovely place to visit, especially if Darling the cat is about! Good range of products, and helpful and knowledgeable staff. My daughter loves seeing the hamsters, guinea pigs and fish too. However, I tried to buy a cat igloo recently and they were all rather expensive so didn't purchase one here in the end.

The staff in this branch are remarkably well-trained. Every single person I've spoken with there has been knowledgable about the products and about animal care in general and generous with their time and advice. As first-time pet-owners, we've much appreciated their help and much enjoy visiting the shop, which has a great range of healthy petfoods and accessories. Thoroughly recommend!

Had a great experience visiting here recently. I was looking for a brand of wet dog food from the US, called Canidae and the patient and helpful assistant was able to suggest some excellent alternatives like Zealandia pate, which my Greek kokoni Happy loves, as well as some tasty Tribal kibble she actually chews and doesn't just swallow whole. The food can be pricey but I know they are grain and/or gluten free and stock a vast range of much healthier options over cheaper brands. For me, it's worth paying extra. The free samples are a fab idea so you can get an idea of the size of the kibble and if your dog likes them before buying. And I always weigh Happy here and she loves the free doggy snacks too. I highly recommend them.

I popped into the shop looking to switch dog foods, and wasn’t really sure what would be appropriate. The lovely Eira very patiently talked me through numerous options and helped me find the perfect alternative. Both staff members, Chloe and Eira, were so warm and welcoming and I would just like to recognise them for going above and beyond. I will certainly be back.

My puppy came here for the Saturday morning puppy play time and to weigh on the scales. It was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. 4 stars as the products are a little more pricey than I’d expect but I’ll definitely be going back again.

Really love this local shop, and while it is a bit more expensive, I’m happy to pay the bit extra. It has excellent eco credentials, for me it’s at the end of a lovely walk on the GreenWay, no fuss if you need to take an item back, useful weighing scales in the store and offers much better pet food brands than you usually see in shops. If your bored of seeing the usual Royal Canin/Pedigree chum low quality rubbish than you will appreciate Pets Corner. It’s my dog’s favourite shop as well!

Great place for everything pets. They have a great variety of food, treats and other items like bedding, crates for dogs and other pets, and we visit regularly to pick up treats for our two labs. The staff are always helpful and provide excellent advice if needed. First class pet store, would highly recommend.

Always able to purchase treats and frozen bone's that are rarely available at supermarkets or garden centre's. As ever spotlessly clean and well stocked.

Staff are always very helpful and quite knowledgeable about the products that they sell especially the food which I find is really helpful and important to me. The store is nicely laid out spacious and easy to navigate.

Pets Corner Hitchin is my go to for food for my Maltese Mylo. They are always well stocked up. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and I have always had a pleasant experience. Mylo also loves it as they have a lot of free treats for him to try which is a nice touch.

Came especially for a premium brand of dog food. None on the shelf but a large order on pallets sitting at the front. Asked if any would be the brand I was after. Told they wouldn’t get through it until the end of the day (1pm when I got there). Neither seemed bothered nor really inclined to help. Both cashiers standing talking when I walked in so not busy and no offer to unpack or try find the food I was after. Going back to ordering online as the mark up Pets Corner add only worth it if available in store. Disappointed that staff are no trying to get stock on the shelf on a Saturday when I would expect would be a busy day. Lost a customer.

Tidy and well laid out store. Staff are friendly and happy to show a new customer around. I appreciated the written descriptions of the dry dog food which made it easy to compare the products by different producers with various scores.

The assistance in this shop is great. They were helping me choose and decide by telling me real facts based on my dog type and size. I had a lot of questions and they were patient and professional. Definitely will be back 😊

Been going to this store a while now due to my closer store closing. The girls are all very lovely and welcoming I recently got a new puppy and he has been having some issues with his food. However the manager was able to help me out with this and now Dave is loving his food and eating every last bit of it! If you need help with the nutrition side of things Jodie is the one to speak to! So kind and really helped me understand what I’m giving to my dog! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Had the best experience in the Hitchin store today! The manager (Jodie) was very knowledgeable & seemed to genially care about the customer experience. The place was well stocked & clean. Would highly recommend this store for any pet supplies & I will definitely be returning for future purchases. Very happy customer :) Thank you for making my day !!!

They have a lot of good quality feed in the store, which you can usually only order on ebay. What is really good. Check their website ;)

A lot better than it used to be with much friendlier staff. They were cleaning out the pets but still let my daughter see the animals. Only reason I dropped a star is can be fairly expensive, but has a good wide range, so its good as very few pet places in Hitchin.
