So you actually have to be a member of the Digswell Lake society in order to get in but the gate was unlocked and I didn't read the signs till I left. It's absolutely gorgeous. Props to the caretakers. Wear good shoes because most of it is very muddy, especially after a good rain!

Very wet today. Localised flooding. Still really recommend as a peaceful retreat

Very pretty, but you can't get in without a key. We were fortunate that someone let us in

Nice to see the birds but very small nature reserve.

A very pleasant (but very muddy close to the banks) walk - always a nice place to be. Swans are always a joy to watch. Should’ve taken a few pictures - next time!

I enjoy walking in this nature reserve and taking pictures of the lake. It's allowed to bring dogs if you think they don't disturb wild animal living in the lake and the wood. Be aware at the beehive. There's a local production of honey.

👍👍 Delightful area of woodland. No doubt this particular nature reserve will survive, but I read the other day that the adacent area (land east of Potters Bar between the M25 and Coopers Lane Road) is likely to become a high-priority one for new housing, as designated in their wisdom by the local counc...

👍 Had a wonderful visit with my Beaver colony. Barry and Lynne were really helpful as wardens. We'll be making a donation to HMWT to say thank you. Once the new boardwalk area is finished it'll be even more accessible.
