A really pleasant place to take younger children on a warm and sunny day. The water features are extensive and some are interactive. The pirate ship climbing and activities facility is popular. Admission remains FREE currently. Seating is limited so a taking a blanket to sit on on the grassy banks surrounding the water feature is advisable.

Positive: amazing water play for kids of all ages and all this for free (apart from the parking). So much fun for them when the negatives don't apply. Negative: big kids playing with their water toys/weapons. They simply should not be allowed. They run everywhere and are a danger to young children (in my opinion). Today, a child got ran into by another running child and got a bad open wound requiring to go to A&E. Also it gets too busy when the weather is really warm and perfect for this type of activity which makes the place so crowded and even more at risk for young ones. There is no shade at all in the water park it self which is a real shame when you think this has been thought for children!

perfect place to take the kids on a hot summers day. Parking right next to the park, it's got a kiosk selling ice creams and hot/cold drinks toilets and changing rooms both right by the splash pad. Also lots of nice scenery in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend 👍

A huge thank you to the team at Splashlands on Saturday afternoon. They were so busy- working in the heat and faced frustrations due to parking but in my experience handled all they could fairly and professionally. We had a picnic in the park and were politely asked to make sure we tidied up (which we did). Many thanks to you all- you are doing a super job! We are so lucky to have such facilities for our children to explore, play and enjoy!

Super fun facility. Despite the cold water, the kids enjoyed it. Changing room and toilet next to it is very sensible. The shop selling ice cream and hot drinks also very sensible for grown ups. Highly recommend

Hot day, no drinking fountains. And staff refusing to fill up water bottles. Long queue for plastic bottles. Not great environmental policy. Cmon Better. Be better!

This place isn’t too bad, however the park section doesn’t really have a lot for little ones to do if they can’t climb. The boat is lovely for the big kids but if you have someone who is under 1 there is literally nothing apart from swings. Also during busy summer days you have to have a ticket just to use the park as they have put them both together which makes no sense

Amazing, I cannot believe this place is a free council funded splash park. Car park is big and there are good facilities like toilets and tuck shops. Lovely adjacent green for picnics.

The splash park is a gem. Padded soft flooring and lots of water jets. Ideal for toddlers and bigger children. It is spacious and on hot days it gets very busy. There is green space surrounding it for picnics, though not much shade. There are toddler swings and ride-ons and also climbing equipment and swings aimed at slightly older children too. An ice cream and snacks kiosk is right by the entrance, and toilets. Car parking is cheaper if you are a resident.

Kids had a brilliant time, the splashpad was so much fun. The area is clean and safe. The climbing frame, swings and roundabout gives them something extra to do to keep them all busy. Highly recommend

So glad to have found this gem! Was searching for a good splash park near to us in Harlow. Amazing facility’s, great size splash park. Little shop for refreshments- the queue was very long we didn’t bother, toilets and changing rooms, will definitely be going again! Highly recommend- I would go early if it’s a hot day.

Great for kids, parking expensive and can get very busy

What a fun place! The splash pad is really fantastic, and the playground that surrounds it has lots to play on. There is lots of space to sit on blankets, with a few benches. There is a fair amount of parking, but there is a fee to do this.

Good playground, let down by the cost of parking (£6 for 1-3hours) and the fact the toilets by the playground weren't open

A safe and beautiful place where the whole family can have a good time. There are many attractions for children on the playground, where they can exercise outdoors under the watchful eye of their parents enjoying delicious coffee. You can buy one of the best coffee here and not only in Hatfield.

The kids love splashlands. Very tidy and clean, car park and coffee right next to the splash park itself. Highly recommend for a visit with the kids!

Great place to take the kids on a hot day. Kept them amused for ages. And it was free other than the parking. I do recommend paying for the day ticket as there is a lot to do and time flies! Pedallos we’re good fun too. unfortunately, the day we went, it was really hot and they hadn’t received their ice cream delivery and were completely out, thankfully, I parked in the wrong car park by the water sports area and visited the restaurant there on the way back to the car which had a good selection of food, ice cream and drinks.

Great local place to go with the kids. Like the booking system so it's not over crowded. Could just do with a few more benches or shaded areas to sit. Kids love it though!

I love this place. So children friendly. Lovely play area meets the ages of the children. Lovely little place next to it to get drinks and ice lollies. Toilets onsite and car park pay and display. Only downside is it can get very busy.

Excellent splash park. Everything was so clean. Parking bit if a joke, but just download the app and pay for parking hourly at £1.50 instead of £6 for 3 hours. Just gotta add hour by hour while your there. Other than that will definitely be going back.

👍 Nice local park with wooded walk around the perimeter. Kids play park and football pitches widely used for youth football. Nearby woods have seasonal woodland flowers.
