😠 Such a shame... The Stanborough Park is a lovely area to visit, but unfortunately the car park is not! On entering the North car park, there is a massive pot hole, which must be avoided. Such a shame... The Stanborough Park is a lovely area to visit, but unfortunately the car park is not! On entering the North car park, there is a massive pot hole, which must be avoided. We needed to purchase all-day parking to allow us to go for a bike ride, but the cost of this was so expensive at £10. No wonder the car park was virtually empty. This car park is totally underutilised. If the cost of the parking was reduced by say half, I recon that there would be significantly more visitors, and more profit would be made to repair the pot hole.

I have visited the lakes several times now and me and the kids always have a great time. The north side is great for the kids as they can paddle in the stream and you can purchase fishing nets for £3 to look for fish. You can hire a peddalo out for £10/15 and there is a kids playground which is free and also an adventure course which you have to pay for. Lots of people bring there own bbqs. The only down side is that it does get quite packed when it's hot. The South side is much quieter and it is nice to walk around the lake and sit and have a peaceful bbq it is prettier than the north side. It also has a cafe and restaurant on the South side. Both side are easily accessible if you walk under the bridge.

Excellent day out early August with my visually impaired daughter as part of her Daylight Club. Cycling staff were brilliant, helping about 2 dozen disabled and handicapped adults on tricycles and tandems. BUT parked next to cafe, Blue Badge on display, and was shocked to receive Gemini Parking Solutions parking ticket 3 weeks later. Also to discover our Daylight Club, who followed all requested procedures have also received a parking charge for their minibus for disabled adults last week. Where the cycling staff in August were brilliant, that feel good feeling was ruined by Gemini Parking Solutions in September. They solve nothing, only cause distress for disabled visitors, for whom they show no understanding or consideration whatsoever.

As a Blue Badge Guest following the car parking rules I still got a parking ticket. I rang the registered number and left my number plate vehicle registration and car park number yet still was resented with a ticket. That I had to fight which was very stressful. This is a lovely park it's a shame that Gemini parking gives out tickets to every body that enters. Buying a car park ticket or being Blue Badge does not put them off they pray on the weak and uniformed. Please park with care this will put a lot of people coming to this beautiful green area and park very poor service by the private company some thing should be done about this.

As a medically vulnerable person I’ve only been able to visit Dunstable Downs, cassiobury Park or Ashridge in the past 2 years. When I drive to North Lake Stanborough Park. WGC I felt comfortable parking in a Disabled bay, displayed my official disability Badge. Right by the bay, there was an instruction disabled display, stating that I had to register my registration and my disability badge number, which I duly Did, call recorded on my Mobile. the fresh air, open space and time outside, was Great. A week later I received a penalty parking charge from Gemini Solutions Parking. I have lodged an appeal. Please beware of this Parking Company. Has anyone had a similar situation?? I await the outcome!!

Went here with my family, with my mum too who has a blue badge. Once seeing parking was free we registered the car and went on our way. Two week later we received a fine for £60, which when appealed became £120…the people that operate this and EVERYONE that works for them are absolute scum, beware.

Unfortunately our lovely trip was hit with a debt recovery letter when we got home! Beware if parking here, download the parking app and create an account before arriving. We arrived and no cash payment option was available, the 5g service drops in and out, by the time we had download the app and signed up for an account we had been over 10 minutes in the carpark. We even arrived back to our car 20 mins before our paid ticket ran out. Once home we got a parking ticket, we contested it and never heard back until we got a debit recovery letter. When ringing the debt company we were told because we were in the car park for 10 minutes without a ticket it's an automatic fine! So please be aware at this car park. If the cash machine isn't working you can only use the app but you have to download it and create an account before you can buy a parking ticket. Also the picture of us leaving isn't us leaving the car park it's us joining the main road so if you can't exit onto the main road straight away or within your parking ticket amount of time you will be charged! Shame on you Gemini Parking, a nice day out spoilt by an automated computer ticket rather than a compassionate human being listening and understanding that in a remote area the 5g hardly works, there is limited call service so how do you expect a large app to be downloaded and an account created and then payment to be processed all within 10 minutes? Whilst also having to read the sign and follow instructions, as well as the time to park and walk to the ticket machine???

Was going to come to Stanborough Park until we saw the parking charges £10? Nope. 🤔 😔 Glad we saw them here before we drove down.

Nice place for a walk, plenty of aquatic birds, but noisy as so close to the A1.

Best place to park if you want access to amenities, cool stream, picnic space and hill top for sunset views.

Good amount of spaces for parking but the signage and controls could be improved. The entrance is confusing as it merges with the exit and people go the wrong way. Pricing is sneaky, the difference between a few hours and all day makes you stressed to rush around and get back to your car. Otherwise a good spot to enjoy with all the family

This is a beautiful place but as it was the bank holiday I would have expected the bin's to be cleaned out regularly this was here for hours as my husband and I walked the whole of the boating lake and fishing lake and back to the car park, being local we can park here for £250 pounds a year but as a blue badge holder parking is not as expensive there are new water activates on the fishing lake and some grate looking peddle boats on the boating lake and the little rivers are full of fish and ducks just saddened by the rubbish being left behind.

Very expensive car park and no seating along the walk from north car park to cafe on south side. Older people struggle.

Nice park, great for kids. Boat rides and a great playground. Cafe on site, even an Italian restaurant.
