šŸ˜  I wouldn't recommend 'glamping' here at all. The bell tents were basic, cheap and a bit mouldy. They had no attention to detail and were all just a bit sterile and plain - not cosy at all. The site is located under a flight path with planes flying all night. There is also a 24 hour concrete factory... People often mention lake, site, great, tent, toilets, clean, time, night, showers, glamping,

I wouldn't recommend 'glamping' here at all. The bell tents were basic, cheap and a bit mouldy. They had no attention to detail and were all just a bit sterile and plain - not cosy at all. The site is located under a flight path with planes flying all night. There is also a 24 hour concrete factory nearby which made a huge amount of noise all night. I didn't sleep a wink. The toilets are basic and at times smelly. The men's had no running water at one point. The lake was quite nice to swim in but spoilt by the proximity to the looming concrete factory. If it had been half the price, I wouldn't have complained but it is expensive. It feels like for the money being charged it needs a lot more attention to detail.

We took our own bell tent, rather than hiring one of the ones available. The grass on the camping field was full of thistles and brambles so I was a little worried about the ground sheet of our tent. Also meant our children could not wander around in flip flops and had to keep putting on their trainers which was a bit of a faff when we just wanted to pop to the toilets or showers. Speaking of the toilets - they absolutely stink. I'm not sure if it's because the industrial sized bins are behind them and these were over full for the weekend which we stayed. They are composting toilets which we've used before but they have never smelt anything like the ones here. The facilities are lovely the little beach area was a favourite with our sons and there are lots of lovely walks around. The site is also dog friendly which meant we could bring our puppy. The big inflatable out on the lake was great fun and the food at the little cafe next to it was good. The thing which could have improved the stay for us was a bit more of a staff presence in the evenings. One night we had teenagers in the wooden carriage near our pitching shouting and swearing and smashing glass. Another night there was a large group in one of the glamping tents with loud music on until 2am.

First time glamping the tents where nice and clean toilets was clean showers clean the manager Dan did not stop. They did not hesitate if we needed anything. The people in other tents was giving out food.We was all talking a very nice atmosphere. Make sure to bring your own food for barbecue they sell wood on site for the fireplace great place for kids couples and singles a chilled place. they have speakers in the tent this makes it relaxing they also have a fridge in the office. Entertainment like shooting best to book early the water park is on other side of the field and the lakes are just amazing the water was warmer then swimming pools final thoughts this place is what you make it and i will definitely be back again

Great place if you live local, lakes are amazing šŸ‘ šŸ˜€ good for the kids to play in for swimming or paddle boarding. Safe for them to walk about. Tents are great for sleeping in, proper double beds, fold out foam ones single and double. The boys said they were very comfortable. Adults slept on the real bed which also found comfortable. Only one problem, myself and my sister found we could not sleep due to a constant droning noise all through the night. Otherwise an excellent wee stay. I would recommend.

We had a great experience glamping at Redrick camp site. Dan and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The camp site is beautiful and right by the lake where we enjoyed many swims. Itā€™s a great place for adults, teens and children alike. The site is clean and has good facilities including showers and nice toilets. The glamping tents provide comfortable beds/sofa beds and we slept very well. We made a couple of requests due to visiting with a family member who has a disability and these were provided for. We are already planning our next visit to celebrate a birthday and we will definitely come back here many times.

Poor toilets, no toilet paper, tent pitches on the slope and very uneven grund. Crew going up and down on quad bike leaving clouds of dust behind. Accesible part of the lake for paddle boards and swim very small (~5%of the lake). No dogs alowed in lake. Noise from the factory next door overnight.

A real eye opener! Didn't really know what to expect, what a pleasant surprise. And on our doorstep too! 2 families, 4 adults, 4 children. We all loved it. Tent was really clean, 2 benches, a BBQ and a Fire Pit. Really competitively priced as well. The kids loved it! An ideal camping experience. AquaSplash and Dancing Crayfish Cafe a stones throw away. Lovely/helpful staff. We all had a great time. Highly recommended!!

We booked to stay at Cre8 Glamping for the children, not necessarily for us adults. The main thing is that the kids had a great time - not with the nearby activities but the games we played as a family. We initially chose this site as we wanted a ā€˜glampingā€™ experience. The photos of the 6x6 metre bell tent advertised on the website were nothing like what we had. It is very overpriced considering what you pay for is essentially a pre-pitched tent (granted, this saves a lot of time) with a bench and a dirty BBQ. Itā€™s the little details that could have made a big difference - the bunting, the faux flowers inside the tent, the fairy lights etc. that were all depicted in the photos and description upon booking. The toilets and the washing up facilities were filthy - not what I expected when ā€˜Glampingā€™. The showers were not too bad - this was probably because it was so quiet and they probably had no bookings. Thereā€™s no reason why the toilets and washing area couldnā€™t have been clean. The sofa beds provided were stained and dirty. We wonā€™t be staying at Cre8 Glamping again or will recommend this to friends and family.

We had a great time glamping at Redricks Lake! The tents were great, bed was comfortable and facilities good. This isn't a super fancy glamping site, but you shouldn't be expecting that for the price. It's perfect for people who don't want to put up or take down a tent and want to sleep in a real bed. Plus it's a pet friendly site which is a must for us! My son really enjoyed walking around the site, particularly in the wooded area. It was a bit too cold to go swimming in the lake this time around but there was a great little area for you to do this. I also noticed in some of the reviews people complained about the noise coming from the nearby factory, its honestly not that loud, and if you can only sleep in dead silence you probably shouldn't do any type of camping.

The facilities were cleaned to a high standard and the extra touches to make to place beautiful really made a difference. The site manger Gemma is so helpful and friendly, always with a smale on her face. My son and I stayed for the Yoga Wild event and he had such a great time swimming in the lake and making friends. It felt safe for me to enjoy the brilliant workshops knowing he was having the time of his life

I'm going to start with the service we received, absolutely amazing. Soonest we got there, we felt super welcomed by Claire. Beautiful soul! Thank you, Riley and me really appreciate your kindness, and of course the ice lolly too :) Dan, the owner, also just one of the kindest people we ever met! He let us stay for longer on our pitch, so we can explore the area and wouldn't have to carry all our stuff around..He checked on us and others all the time if we needed anything and if we were okay, handed out the kayaks for us and others to use it on the lake, which was super fun :)As we didn't have a car, he also dropped us to the nearby station at the end, so we didn't have to walk in the hot weather. You don't get this kind of service anywhere..Thank you! All other staff members were also amazing to us, the best service we received so far, and we are serial campers. We like simple, basic camping, so we brought our own tent, but saw all the glamping tents, they all looked great and comfortable, each one had a table, fire pit and BBQ to use, electricity and furniture. Toilets, showers and there's also free cold drinking water available. We choose this place because it was close to where we live, it has a lake and activities for kids. Also the price is amazing, for what you get! We were able to swim in the lake from morning to evening and the kids loved the lake activities with all the kayaks etc... The place is very tidy and looked after, also a nice bunch of people we met whilst we were there. Dan and his team is doing and amazing job there and they made us feel like family. We can only recommend and already looking for the next date to book!

Toilets & showers are disgusting, no organisation when pitching a tent seems you can pitch anywhere. Factory near by makes a humming noise all night so don't kept a peaceful night sleep. It's a real shame it's not looked after very well as it has so much potential, the lake and activities are fantastic for the kids.

Shocking bathroom and toilet facilities. No toilet paper supplied, really! No field pitch management, looked like a car park the weekend we were there. Incredibly noisy, right under a very busy flight path and a 24hr concrete factory next door. No BBQ or fire pit for campers who bring their own tent. Field was rough with stones, rocks and weeds. Very expensive compared to much other better kept sites. Only thing going for it, the lake. Others around us also left a day early.

Had the best weekend at Cre8 Glamping for my 30th birthday. We booked the 8ft tipi which was very spacious for all 10 of us. The showers were lovely and hot, beds were very comfy too. Great atmosphere, great option to be camping either in the woodlands or on the field. The lake was perfect for what was the hottest weekend ever, thank you for lending us a paddle board! We were able to find space away from other guests to have some music on and a dance into the night. Super easy to get to from London so will defiantly be returning and telling my friends. I had seen some questionable reviews before arriving which did cause a little concern, however they exceeded expectations and I personally did not find anything to fault. Highly recommend for all! :)

We have just spent a weekend at cre8 Glamping as a family of 2 adults and a toddler with our dog. The site was friendly and the man who was working on the site was very approachable and helpful. The tepee was in good condition. In hindsight we should have booked for a larger tent then the 4 x 4 as it was not big enough for 3 of us and a dog. I think the 4x4 would be most suited to couples only. Very dog friendly site. The website said the tent comes with basic cutlery and mugs etcā€¦ It does not. I would recommend taking your own mug for a hot drink plus bottle opener. There were a few plastic plates and cups and some sets of cutlery only. We were given a cool bag and could ask for ice packs as and when we needed them which was really handy. The bbq was a good size and came with utensils. The fire pit was great. Overall the tepee was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately my review for the amenities is much more negative. The toilets were dirty and had a horrendous smell - worse then any festival toilets Iā€™ve been in. The shower block was also very dirty. I never saw anyone clean for the duration of my stay. The shower would range from icy cold to scorching within seconds. The shower only had a curtain which was blue but see through! The washing up area was dirty and only had cold water so couldnā€™t wash dishes properly, particularly when they are greasy. Take your own washing up sponges as the ones by the sink had been well used with thick grease on them. The factory close by was very noisy at night with planes also regularly flying over due to closeness to stansted airport. I know this is out of the owners control but may be an issue to those who are light sleepers. There was a snack van which was open all weekend during the day and food was at a reasonable cost. This could be a lovely site but requires better maintenance of amenities. It is very overpriced as it is at the moment and would recommend going until improvements have been made. The lake area was lovely with a small beach area. The water does go deep quickly so children and non confident swimmers should stay by the shore. Whilst staying on the site you have access to soft play for a reasonable charge and also can book the aqua course separately which was well worth the money and made for a very fun afternoon. This is run by different owners which is evident in the higher level of maintenance seen. Overall I would stay here again if improvements were made but as it currently is I would not return and feel it is well over priced. The website is quite misleading and creates a much higher expectation of what the Glamping has to offer.

We recently stayed as a family of 4 at Cre8 for the weekend. Our tent was a great size and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the lake & the shooting range. We had some queries which Simone dealt with, she was super helpful & friendly. The toilets & showers where also clean. We will defiantly return. Thank you.

The perfect glamping site! We stayed for 2 nights. The tipi tent was clean and the beds were comfy. Thereā€™s a fire pit and BBQ outside for your own personal use. The toilets were cleaned regularly, a slight smell but what do you expect from a portable toilet cabin. The showers were lovely, nice and clean with hot water. Our kids loved the beach area and were in and out of the lake all the time They went to the aqua splash which was separate but right next door (a few minutes walk or 1 minute drive) We took our dog and she loved it, especially the lake. Thereā€™s a small club house with a pool table near the beach and thereā€™s a cafe down by the aqua splash. Thereā€™s also a lovely pub if you fancy eating out one night (The Plume of feathers, literally a 5 minute drive) The staff were really friendly and accommodating, always had ice blocks available to swap to keep our food fresh in the cool boxes they provide. Overall it was a great experience, would definitely return. Only negative was the typical English weather!!!
