    HORRIBLE!!! Waited 2 Hours for skininfection. 5 minutew after the doctors came I was sent home to come back the next day.

    ...waited 6.5 hours no doctor came....no respect for child was given doctor A T just laughed at sick child and this kind of service not suppose to be on the kids hospital P.S. horrible receptionists atittude made the full package of unpleasent visit.

    (Translated by Google) Poor planning. Spending 13 hours one day and 7 hours the next day with my 3-year-old who came urgently via referral from Södersjukhuset. We had not prepared at all to sit in the emergency room. Blood tests, brain X-ray and lumbar puncture were planned. Bad planning, no samples were taken at the same time, instead anesthetic patches were needed, sedatives in batches that had time to wear off before the next test was to be taken, new patches, new sedatives, waiting, waiting, waiting. We were not allowed to leave and no one offered us anything to eat. So a blood test, a DT and a lumbar puncture which was immediately clear from the referral was to be done, thus took over 20 hours. It apologized for the mistake, but no 3-year-old should have to wait 13 hours without being allowed to go home or get a bed. (Original) Dålig planering. Spenderande 13 h ena dagen och 7 h nästa dag med min 3 åring som kom akut via remiss ifrån södersjukhuset. Vi hade inte alls förberett oss för att sitta på akuten. Det planerades blodprov, hjärnröntgen och lumbalpunktion. Dålig planering, inga prover togs samtidigt utan det behövdes bedövningsplåster, lugnande medicin i omgångar som hann att tappa verkan innan nästa test skulle tas, nya plåster, ny lugnande medicin, väntan väntan väntan. Vi fick inte lämna och ingen erbjöd oss något att äta. Så ett blodprov, en DT och en lumbalpunktion som direkt framgick av remissen skulle göras, tog alltså över 20h. Det bad som ursäkts för att det blivit fel, men ingen 3åring ska behöva vänta 13h utan att få åka hem eller få en säng.

    Had bad experience, rather checking and investigating the situation of the kid, they had suggested me to wait until morning and show in the vardcentral.

    After reading all the comments, we expected that we might need to wait longer hours in the barnakut, But we got the help from the nurses quite quick and also the doctor visited within an hour (say 45 minutes). After our first visit, we got a follow-up call from the nurse on weekend and she make sure our daughter was fine. On the follow-up visits to barnakut, we met a doctor and he was extremely nice and communicative. He patiently answered all our questions and gave advices on healthy diet for the kid and so on. He make sure our daughter was doing fine and taking all the medications without any issues. Parents, don' t worry too much before visting the barnakut, but be prepared for food, water bottle, toys and so on (for atleast a stay for 4 to 5 hours). That should do the help.

    My newborn daughter was treated in intensive care in the neonatal ward here after a brain asphyxia caused by a shoulder dystocia during delivery. She recovered really well! The people there were kind, professional and providing world class care in a very well maintained facility. All I (and my wife) saw was genuine care all throughout. We even got a music therapist to help us relax after the traumatic experiences we had surrounding the birth. Amazing staff!

    I just like this place - more relaxed then Astrid Lindgren and the staff is always polite and professional. Yes, long waiting time - but you always get to see the doctor!

    One of the worst receptionist ever I met today 2/2024 between 21:00 to 22:30. Was very shocked the way he behaves with parents of the sick child. Completely unprofessional, rude and arrogant. She was so mean and aggressive talking. Probably she is under stress or having tough time. I respect that but then she is not supposed to be there to help emergency patient. I would humbly request to authority to put the right people in the reception, otherwise parents may suffer like us. I hope relevant authority will investigate further or can contact me to know more about the incident.
