👍👍 It's a great place to get a peek into Stockholm's history of transport. From the horse carriages in 1840s to the Trams in 1900s to the modern day TBanas, they have it all. People often mention museum, kids, transport, history, public, Stockholm, interactive, interesting, nice, vehicles,

Very nice and interactive museum! It’s located in an old industrial area that’s is being redeveloped and revamped with restaurants and services! Nice to take a walk around the area while being there! Very educacional and a great way to learn about the public transport system history and it’s development in the Stockholm area! Great for kids! The staff was very nice and welcoming! It also has a coffee shop inside!

Definitely a nice museum. For public transport fans is like heaven. However, I wouldn't prioritize to visit this museum if you aren't Stockholm resident and user of public transport. Spend some time and read the texts next to the exhibits, otherwise you will not be able to realize their cultural/technological value. Guided tours are available but you must check online or call them in advance

This is an excellent museum in a most amazing building surrounded by lots more amazing looking red brick buildings. The museum is the home to various vehicles going back many years. There are trams, buses and metro vehicles making up the collection along with many artifacts related to the city's transport system. The museum is covered across four floors which are accessible by stairs or lift. Alongside many of the exhibits are screens which show historical photos and videos of the vehicle types in action from back in the day. It is a museum that should interest all ages. There is a good shop selling books, posters and lots of things for the younger ones. There is also a cafe selling very good quality food and drinks. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful.

A museum on history of public transportation in Stockholm city. Plenty to see in 4 floor, from historic trams to ferries, and they provided English translation for everything. I love how they curate their collection and the interactive storytelling features such as screens with historic reenactments and clickable dioramas. Overall it has fun activities for all ages but children will especially love it.

A very interactive museum. Good for children. Due to its popularity, we were queuing about half an hour to go in. (28th May)

They have some cool vehicles, but it's not really worth the price. We were there for about 1 hour before we got bored and left. The musuem can be very fun for small kids though. I would reccomend arriving around 5-10 minutes before they open to minimize wait times. Also, don't go to the café, the prices are insane. The mini metro train was also out of service when we visited. This review would be more positive if I had a 5 year-old child, but I don't.

This is probably one of the best museums Stockholm has. The whole setup is very well planned and it's very interesting. I will definitely visit this museum again.

Amazing museum! I visited on 27.05 and had to queue for an hour, which is totally understandable and expectable for a brand new museum only a week after the grand opening. A lot of stories to read for adults and things to play with for kids (and adults!:). The only drawback is that the cafe is pretty pricy (bring your food), queues for the bus and minitunnelbana are extremely long (which is okay since there were lots of kids) and the 4th floor was closed today for some reason.

Interesting historical transportation vehicles, fun "driving" experience for small kids, audiovisual material providing information and a very cozy coffee shop with fresh snacks! I really enjoyed my visit there!!

The museum is nice in general, but there are a couple of drawbacks: first you can't enter any vehicle except one at the entrance, second if you come in the weekend it is a huge playground for kids. They will definitely disturb you while you're exploring the exposition. Also it lacks some space, it's hard to explore vehicles aside. Also the shop is missing clothing options for the grown-ups.

Fantastic museum with a well curated exhibition of the development of public transport in Stockholm. Very interesting both for young kids and the adults coming with them, There's also a lot of interactive areas and play areas for young children. 10/10!

Was fun, but was a lot of (mostly) small children. Definetely a family museum, but good for the price. Modern exhibitions with screens showing actors dressed up in different uniforms/clothes that match the exhibition was cool and brought it a bit more to life.

Fascinating museum with a good display of old trams, buses and metro trains. The history of local traffic in Stockholm. Very kid friendly of course but also interesting for adults.

Good museum to spend the day at. 4 floors to explore. Endless things for the kiddos to play with. However, no running allowed except at the track where you measure/compare your running with public transport. Expensive Café where a sandwich can run you $16-20 (bring your own food -area above the cafe) 5/5 commuter trains -Single dad with 2 kids (5 and 2yrs)

It was ok but you can't enter most vehicles which makes it much harder to keep it interesting for kids. The top two floors are best suited for kids and the rest for other who are interested in the history. The train ride is well suited for kids to ride along alone and there is a fika area where you can bring your own food as well as playing an old arcade flipper game for free.

Very nice place to visit. The staff was very humble. There was a cafe and even a separate sitting area so you could eat your food. Adult ticket 120 SEK children *free* Tram ride 20SEK per person. Locker on the ground floor.... As a whole, it was a great fun day.

Lots of interesting exhibits of the history of public transportation in Stockholm, and Sweden as a whole. Plenty of trams, trains, buses to look at, and exhibits of water transport too. Plenty of interactive stuff for children. All information written in both Swedish and English.

Don't be fooled in thinking this is just a Museum on the History of travel in Stockholm...its more an indoor play facility for kids. It's like putting a few old folk in a children's nursery and calling it and old folks home. Kids screaming and running around, kids activities everywhere and kids climbing on the old trams. We were so overwhelmed by this that we left but not before asking for our money back. I'd give this 5 stars if I were rating a kids indoor play facility....but a Museum it is not hence the 2 star rating.

The museum is well organized and has plenty of content about the history of Swedish public transportation. There's a nice little café and the museum staff is generally friendly.

Really lovely museum that offers plenty to do especially for small kids. The restaurant is a bit over priced and lacks variety of food options.

Some of the Interactive screens didn't have english text as an option, but all together a very interesting and nicely arranged museum. Staff was super friendly. Takes at least 2 hours to go through.
