Such a lovely shop with all its smells and bottles. You will almost certainly be leaving with something. Helpful and educational staff. It's like walking straight in to a shop from 100 years back. A little hard to find on its a little off the beat location if you don't know what to look for.

Founded in around 1880 and still in family hands this shop is well worth a visit and probably unique in today’s Europe. It sells all kinds of flavourings, from classics like rose or elderflower over the indigenous fruits and plants of Scandinavia to pistachios, liquorice and so much more, all produced in their own laboratory. It was sooo difficult to choose. In addition it sells the spices at the basis of some of their flavours. The cardamom smell was extraordinary. Let’s hope they thrive for many more years.
