This Wednesday, I got a chance to try the new Body Scan at Neko Health, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The whole thing was a bit like visiting a high-tech spa. You get your robe, your slippers, but then instead of getting into hot water, you stand in front of a bunch of cameras. These cameras are doing a 360-degree skin scan. We all know how crucial it is to look after our skin and check for unusual spots, but doctors cannot track the changes in my 1202 spots, can they? This scan covered every centimeter of my skin in less than 20 seconds and tracked all the details. That wasn't the end of it. Next came a clinical blood test, which dove right into things like blood lipids, inflammation markers, and even diabetes indicators. To wrap it all up, I had a comprehensive cardiovascular examination. No time wasted here - results were up by the time I got dressed and we walk through the results on a large screen showing all examined aspects of my health. Pretty slick UI with an avatar of me at the center. And they are helping the development of the next generation of medical tools with clinical studies. I contributed my data during this visit to three.

This is the way it should work. Very personal and effective. No waiting and you feel very in control. Most important is a very thorough check up. I had a little high blood pressure and immediately could borrow a blood pressure meter to take home for a week. My experience at Neko Health was great, the staff was very informative and explained everything throughly. The technology was also very exciting to see and with a quick scan and some other checkups, the clinic acquired a summary of my overall health. Something that was highly appreciated is that you get to walk through your results with a doctor afterwards. The only thing I can think of when it comes to improvement is to give suggestions on what one can do in their daily life to improve your values. Maybe this is done in other cases though, as my results had nothing out of ordinary.
