We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful, quiet hotel. The hosts are super friendly and give lots of tips on things to do. Breakfast and dinner is all made of local products and with lots of love. Only one negative thing to our stay was that it was only 2 nights 🙂

What a great place to enjoy Sweden, a private spa and nature. The owners are very nice and give you a real feeling of home. The rooms are specious and beautiful. Waking up with the deer playing in the field. The breakfast is delicious and a good portion. If you book dinner you can enjoy local ingredients both healthy and delicious! They give advise on hikes and MTB routes and the best: you can enjoy the private Spa. We had the pleasure of a night full of stars to enjoy while in the jacuzzi! For sure we come back again!!

We had a lovely stay here. With two rooms and an entire ‘wing’ at our disposal. Enough place for our kids and to play some games. Discovered some nicely prepared local food and had great breakfast. Especially liked the taste in decorations and the way the rooms were styled.

Stilleben is a lovely small hotel where you will feel at home. Robin and Marieke are fantastic hosts, always friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated. The breakfast and dinners are genuine, healthy and tasty. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent B&B setting a new high quality standard in the Swedish B&B market. A healthy breakfast and dinner is sourced using high quality mainly local produce, and brilliantly prepared. Such healthy dining options were hard to come by on our long driving staycation in Sweden this year. The set 3-course dinner is also available as stand alone without needing to stay in the hotel if you can provide 24 hrs notice. The hotel rooms are lovely, with the concept of a home from home. This is a fantastic place to come and relax with lovely walking and biking options. We will definitely come back in winter to try Kungsberget skiing for our kids.

We had a charming cottage a little bit further from the main hotel. The double bed in fact exist of 2 Joined together single beds. The boiler unfortunately couldn't cope, after 5 minutes the hot water was finished. We had a meal yesterday a stew of chicken. Which was ok, the kids found it a little spicy.

Wonderful place with super friendly owners! Perfect spot to wind down and do some outdoor activities in the peacefully calm Swedish nature.

We can warmly recommend Stilleben. It's a beautiful place and you feel very welcomed by the family running the business. One should not miss the chance to have dinner when staying there. The dishes were based on locally sourced ingredients and everything tasted great. If you're lucky enough with the weather, sitting outside with a fantastic view only adds to the experience. Very nice hiking routes nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully renovated old school. The hosts were welcoming, incredibly kind and ensured that the experience was as relaxing and pleasant as humanly possible. And while the building is fantastic, the rooms beautiful and the area fantastically calm, one thing that especially impressed us was the breakfast. Locally sourced or even produced in house, and lovingly prepared, the breakfast offered us everything we needed (and wanted) to start another day of cycling. If you are in the area, or are just looking to get away for a while, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed at Stilleben for 4 days and we enjoyed it very much. We were there at the start of the season and had a the chance to talk to the lovely couple about their plans and how they see things. Sustainability is what they go for. We had a big room with comfortable beds. Marieke makes a fabulous 3 course dinner (optional). We really enjoyed the food she served and which was locally sourced. We loved the concept of slow travel and are already planning to come back to Sweden.
