I've
only
eaten
at
one
other
Lebanese
restaurant
before,
and
my
experience
was
mixed
there,
so
I
visited
this
one
with
trepidation.
Fortunately,
it
was
worth
taking
the
chance.
The
staff
was
extremely
friendly
and
helpful,
guiding
us
toward
an
appropriate
number
of
meza
plates
and
suggesting
an
excellent
salad
to
accompany
it.
The
falafel
was
great,
and
the
two
fatayer
(a
Lebanese
variation
on
a
pierogi)
we
had
were
very
good,
especially
the
really
deliciously
spiced
ground
beef.
Excellent
houmous
as
well,
and
the
mhamara
paprika
relish
packed
some
heat.
Despite
the
plentiful
servings
and
so
many
plates,
the
end
price
for
three
people
was
exceptionally
reasonable,
especially
for
the
quality
and
promptness.
Finally,
La
Beirut
is
a
new
restaurant
at
an
excellent
location
just
off
the
central
town
square,
with
a
park
and
waterside
promenade
just
opposite
of
it.
Really
excellent
location
to
have
a
meal
with
friends
and
enjoy
the
day.
